We
have
stayed
a
Silverado
many
times
each
year
over
the
past
ten
years.
It's
always
been
very
nice.
But
we
had
a
horrible
experience
with
a
valet
at
checkin
this
past
Friday
afternoon.
While
I
parked
at
the
front
circle
of
the
hotel
-
as
I
always
do
when
checking
in
at
Silverado
-
the
valets
said
hello
to
me
as
I
walked
up
the
stairs
to
the
front
desk
of
the
hotel.
My
wife
waited
in
the
car
with
the
air
conditioning
running
due
to
100+
degree
heat.
A
few
minutes
later,
a
valet
opened
the
driver's
side
door
of
our
car,
sat
down
next
to
my
wife
and
tried
to
start
the
car.
My
wife
was
startled
and
stunned.
She
asked
him
to
exit
our
car
and
he
then
said
he
needed
to
move
the
car.
My
wife
offered
to
move
the
car
and
asked
him
to
leave
the
car.
He
refused
and
said
this
is
their
"standard
policy"
and
moved
the
car
a
few
feet
forward.
My
wife
was
very
upset
and
shaking
from
the
experience.
I
asked
the
GM
to
call
me
but
I
was
called
by
Scott
in
Guest
Services.
Nothing
happened
other
than
an
apology.
This
was
inappropriate
and
very
aggressive
behavior
toward
a
woman
sitting
alone
in
a
car
that
did
NOT
need
to
be
moved.
There
was
not
a
parking
problem
at
the
front
of
the
hotel.
My
wife
offered
to
move
the
car
and
they
could
have
asked
me
to
move
it
while
I
waited
in
line
to
check
in.
I
asked
the
general
manager
to
call
me
but
no
one
other
than
Scott
responded.
I
doubt
we
will
return
to
Silverado
Resort
again,
nor
will
I
allow
my
team
members
to
stay
at
Silverado,
due
to
safety
concerns
following
this
incident.
We
have
stayed
here
many
times
each
year
and
the
valet
were
always
aggressive
but
never
this
brazen.
This
type
of
behavior
is
outrageous
and
even
worse
is
the
lack
of
response
or
direct
follow
up.
The
experience
ruined
our
Anniversary
celebration.
