We visited over Labor Day weekend and had an amazing time. We stayed in one of the cottages- it was huge! More than enough space for our family. The amenities within the room were amazing, my wife even loved the shampoo/conditioner. We were unable to use the beautiful pool due to rain, but the basement ping pong table was used often. Close proximity to the beach and golf course, and dinner/breakfast smelled delicious. We can't wait to come back and visit again soon!

I came in for a couple of days with my family and then stayed for a couple more days for my company retreat. The entire stay was amazing! From the attention to detail with the mattresses, linens, bath towels, toilet paper, yoga mat, kitchen supplies, sound bar for the smart TV, white noise machine, and toiletries, everything was best in class. It was super clean and spacious. The property was perfect! The access to the beach, the pool, the firepits were awesome! The staff John, Pamela, Matt, and the entire housekeeping crew were fantastic! It was truly an amazing experience, and we are looking forward to staying again very soon!

Our family had an absolutely wonderful time during our stay at the Neighborhood Hotel in Grand Beach. The comfortable and well-appointed rooms made us feel right at home. The hotel’s central location made it easy for us to explore the local attractions and enjoy nearby activities. After a day of adventures, returning to the hotel felt like returning to a serene oasis. Overall, our experience at the Neighborhood Hotel in Grand Beach was nothing short of exceptional. What a lovely place! They have really thought through a lot of things to make a stay exceptional. They stock s’mores things in the common room & room, have multiple fire pits, a pool & games for inside and outside. And in the rooms the mattress is so comfortable, the towels are super soft and there is a great little kitchen with a fridge that holds a pizza box in addition to plates, silverware, etc. The design is also super well thought out and beautiful. Great experience!

We had such a great stay at The Neighborhood Hotel! The cottage was perfectly equipped with everything we needed and beyond. The cottage was spacious and had a full size refrigerator. The whole vibe of the hotel was friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back next summer!

My husband and 2.5 year old stayed the weekend here in January. The hotel was clean, rooms were stocked with convenient items and we were just a short walk away from the beach. The hotel is such a clever concept with a common areas hosting couches, kitchen, fireplace, ping pong table and bar. It’s great for hosting large groups and events. We really enjoyed the fire pits outside and my son loved running around and seeing all the deer in the morning! Highly recommend for a great getaway from the city!

The Neighborhood Hotel is a hidden gem! It’s the perfect getaway for families and couples. The grounds are very beautiful, perfectly located just steps from the water. The staff was knowledgeable about the area. We also got a full tour of the property- including fire pits, pool and outdoor game area. We will definitely be returning!

Beautiful, clean rooms! We are a family of 5 and stayed in a cottage while visiting Grand Beach and surrounding areas. We were comfortable and had everything we needed. Common room was great for a change of scenery on some nights, complete with game room and all! Staff was very responsive to our few questions. Definitely recommend this hotel!

We had a wonderful vacation with the family. Its such a kid friendly hotel which makes us comfortable to know that they have such a nice space for them and all the outdoor area for them to let that energy out. The smores were ready for us on a chilly night and all the board games as we sat by the fire. Everything is provided and my youngest really enjoyed the popcorn machine.

Such a nice Inn. Love the fireplace in the common room and the fire pit outside. Just a few minute walk from Lake Michigan. If you like bird watching, this place is the perfect location. We”ll definitely be back in the warmer months to enjoy the heated pool.

I just spent two days at the Neighborhood Hotel in Southwest Michigan. I was traveling with my dog, and so I stayed in one of the cottages. Everything was perfect… From the amenities to the furnishings to the self check in and self check out. The bed was luxuriously comfortable and they even had makings for s’mores in the kitchen! I appreciated the smart TV and they had local coffee grounds in the room. 10/10, I would definitely stay here again, and hope I have an opportunity to.

Booked this at 11pm the night before we needed to check in after an AirBNB canceled last minute. It was a blessing in disguise. We were traveling with 2 small children and another couple. Everything about the Neighborhood Hotel Grand Beach was perfect, surpassed every expectation. The pool was clean and warm, beautiful property, fully stocked suit with everything we could have needed! Already looking forward to planning out trip back next summer!

This was one of our favorite family vacations! The minute the kids stepped out of the car, they were entertained with the set up outside of the hotel , there were ping pong tables, table top bocce ball and bags surrounding the hotel. As we entered the room, it had all the high end amenities required for a long weekend or even a month. The extra jars of marshmallows, chocolate and graham crackers were a nice touch! After a quick drop off of the luggage, the kids were running to the pool. At most hotels, your heart skips a bit when jumping into the pool, but this pool was heated to the prefect temperature. Even an employee asked us if the water was warm enough.... If the kids wanted to switch from the pool to the beach, it was a 6 minute or less walk from the hotel. There were a number of fire pits located around the hotel which made the vacation more special by starting a fire each night with kids . The owners were forward thinking... there were even specially designed sticks for marshmallows in the common area . Look forward to making this our annual vacation

Beautiful place!! We stayed in the cottage and brought our pup with us. The place was beautiful, clean, and just what we needed for a weekend get away. This is the perfect place to get that “in the middle of nowhere” feeling but still within walking/driving distance of super fun things. We will be back!
