Based on our horrible experiences with the ERs in our hometown of Atlanta, we were dreading a late night visit to the ER in Winona after my daughter sustained an injury that appeared to need stitches. However, we were greeted promptly and kept apprised of our wait time. Dr. Young was so personable and had an incredible bedside manner. He immediately put my daughter at ease, and walked her through exactly what to expect as he got her all fixed up . He did a fantastic job with her stitches! I joked that he should be a plastic surgeon, but after just 10 days, her wound is healed and the scar is nearly invisible!

Thanks for putting up with my old crabby a**. The care was top notch despite both parties being placed in a situation that they didn't want to be in. The food was divine. Those cooks know what they are doing. Thanks for helping me make the best of a bad situation. The level of professionalism demonstrated by all staff involved was unmatched by any previous experience I have had and I have been a registered nurse for the past 13 years. I used to work at Winona Health, and I recognize that the leadership of Beth Creely has and continues to make a huge difference in the quality of patient care. She is that diamond in the rough. It is too bad upper management doesn't realize her true worth and potential. Miss my Winona Health family. Love you guys. Best experience we could have ever had from a bad afternoon. Went in with my heart racing, and difficulty breathing. We knew they would have to use a cardioversion procedure to get it under control. Everyone there was so professional and nice, and Dr. Koo was wonderful! He was so friendly with a great sense of humor, he put us right at ease. He took the time to listen to us and explain everything. He spent a great deal of time with us, took care of the problem, and I couldn't have been happier! Amazing doctor and a great team working at the emergency room in Winona!

Parker was so perceptive in observing me his patient. He noticed everything! Very thorough. He is very direct. That is important. He's an amazing ER Dr. I feel so grateful to have a Dr like him in Winona.

Went to the emergency room for an ear infection for my son. I didn’t even know Dr.Kelly was still a DR in Winona! I seen him as a child. Anyways he was super interactive with my son and was able to get him to agree to take his medication at home. I’m happy to say we are on DAY 2 of medication and he is still taking them. I will say remember you promised the doctor you would take them!

Our experience with all of the doctors seen was good! They all seemed very goal oriented and what I felt to be operating from the best interests of my son! Although we spent thanksgiving there which wasnt ideal the nurses and doctors were all very kind and thorough regardless of the fact that they were working on a Holiday! Way to go Winona Health! We thank you for your care!

Dr. Parker Kelley was fantastic with my four year old daughter who needed 3 stitches. He built a relationship with her and made her feel comfortable before attempting to examine her laceration on her forehead. He spoke right to her instead of just to me, which I believe also helped her feel comfortable. I truly believe he made this situation much easier for her considering how traumatic it could have been for her. He then also made a follow up call the next day to check in with her. I would highly recommend his care to any patient!

Have had some terrible treatment at Winona Health and was very anxious to be at the ER. I actually said "oh thank God it you!" upon seeing Dr Young. I knew that I was going to be treated with respect and heard. Thanks to Dr Young my ER visit was less traumatic. Shout out to my nurse. I appreciate you being gentle.

Dr. Ian Young is fantastic! We were in the ER twice recently and Dr. Young went above and beyond each time. He is knowledgeable and intelligent but also funny and down to earth. He put us at ease and inspired total confidence in his abilities. The nursing staff were also wonderful, responsive and kind.

Dr. Koo has impeccable bedside manner! My husband and I could not stop talking about how comfortable he made us feel. He did not make me feel like I’m just a number but a patient, human, and heard. Dr. Kelly and nurse Samantha were compassionate and professional. I don’t have many medical issues but it was evening I was alone and a little stressed.I was in my way with a prescription . Highly recommend. Thanks for being there!

Hi, Joel Steven's is a great doctor because he is very compassionate. He listens to what I have problems with. He took a lot of my tests and they they all came back fine. He really cares about his patients.. I feel understood me too. He is a great Emergency Doctor!! He is better than some I have seen in my life!!

Awesome staff, very professional and personable. My mother broke her shoulder and when we arrived at the ER, Parker Kelley was getting off duty & instead of handing us off to another person, stayed over his shift to help treat my mother and put her at ease right away. He was fantastic and made us both feel comfortable . Peggy Krage-Koenig was also a great help getting us a ride back to our hotel as we were there on a bus trip & did not have our own vehicle. They really care about their patients. I highly recommend them. Thank you to the entire team!!

I brought my daughter into the ER at 4:30 in the morning and everyone I interacted with was SO friendly! The care my daughter received from the nurses as well as Dr. da Rocha and Dr. Koo were wonderful. They made us feel as if we were the only ones in the ER, just such personal care. And they really took the time to explain what was going on and different things we could do at home to help my daughter feel at ease. Thank you so much to the team!
