This was my first time trying Pakistani food, although I found some of the same dishes here I've eaten at Indian restaurants and weddings. We tried the samosas (very good), salmon Tandoori tikka (sadly overcooked), shrimp karahi (insanely good and a huge portion), garlic naan (delicious), bullet naan (SPICY), and palak paneer (yummmm). The inside and outside of the restaurant is nicely decorated. The owner chatted with us and made sure we were enjoying ourselves. We tried an ice cream as well, and it was so good. I will definitely be back to Khana Shana.

I’ve already shared my word of mouth review of Khana Shana to as many people that will listen, but everyone in Jersey deserves to know about this place. Most delicious and authentic Biryani that you can find in the area. Everything we’ve tried so far is 10/10 and they treat us like family. Highly recommended. You’ll want to keep coming back again and again.

Honestly, I was on my lunch break and I decided to hop in and get food to go at a place that looked interesting. When I walked in I noticed it had a great sit in atmosphere. With the owner I was mentioning how I liked another near by gyro place. The owner explained and showed me how they cook it being more food and more fresh. The quality of the food tasted great as shown in the picture. Many diners and restaurants try to make a gyro. You really have to go to an authentic place to have a gyro or similar food! I'm interested in trying some of their other food, with them being fresher it's a bonus! Also, there is street parking and a frew parking lot across the street.

I had an incredibly delightful dining experience at this restaurant! The food was exceptionally tasty, and the portions were so generous that one platter easily satisfied two hungry appetites. Not only was the price reasonable, but the owner's friendly demeanor made the entire visit even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to indulge in delicious food while being treated with warmth and hospitality.

Hidden gem in downtown Woodbury: free parking across the street on Hopkin Ave. Loved it. Food was delicious. Service was kind, helpful, patient and relaxing. So much good food. We enjoyed garlic naan, chicken biryani, labori kathi roll, and chicken tikka Boti. We will be back!!

First of all I am a little late to write this review, my fiance and I went to this place twiced. From the server (Akhila) to the owner (Rehan), everything was excellent, service is more than 5 stars deserved and the food was so fresh and felt as if it was home-cooked. We ordered a couple dishes, and the best of them was the lamb chops!!!! I was just so amazed with the taste 😋; their naan are so fresh and made from scratch in house. The sweets were so delicious that they brought my childhood memories back. Rehan serves the food with heart and he is very friendly, creating a family style environment. I really recommend this place, especially to those who really want to try authentic food 😁

Wanted to start off with how good their service is! The owner is really nice and makes sure you have everything you need. Their best selling had to be biryani! Most restaurants cannot make good biryani but this own definitely beats! Their karahi and Samosa chat was good too. I did not like their Lahori roll, they definitely need to make some changes in it, it was like having some chicken curry in a paratha with some sweet chatni. We did not have more than 2 bites. Their butter chicken was also okay, it was a little too sweet than usual and I had cardamon flavor in my mouth with it which I did not like. But overall I would definitely recommend this place! Would go back again for biryani!!

Absolute gem! So glad I found this place & I can’t wait to return. The food was so fresh & made to order. The chicken Biryana was one of the best I ever had & the chutney & sauces that accompanied it were so flavorful. You can customize it to be spicy or mild. I felt the spicy had the perfect amount of heat & paired perfectly with the garlic naan. The service was extremely friendly & welcoming & the owner was so accommodating & offered suggestions off the menu. The ambiance inside is lovely & the decor was so nice. It’s a byob! I definitely recommend this place. It is small so if you have a larger party on a Friday & Saturday night be mindful it could get crowded. This place is a must try!

Went here for dinner tonight and it was really good. We got the beef nehari, chicken biryani, and garlic naan. The beef nehari was really good and the best I’ve tried in the area. The chicken biryani was pretty good too. I liked the onions on top, a lot of restaurants don’t put the caramelized onions so I’m glad they do. The garlic naan was so delicious and I wish we would’ve ordered more. Make sure to also try the chutney they bring out! The green one is my favorite of the two. The salad that was brought out in the beginning was a little strange. It was a mix of fruit and veggies. I liked the grapes on it but the strawberries were a little sour. I think the salad could be improved. Everything else was great though and we can’t wait to come back and try more of their menu!

Have eaten here a couple times and have catered from here for a few small events. Flat out delicious every time. Such a family owned vibe in the restaurant and owner goes to such lengths to make sure everyone enjoyed the food when we cater. Think this place should be considered for top Indian/Pakistani cuisine in Gloucester county, it is a hidden gem!

Charming, pleasant and delicious! I enjoyed myself so much with my daughter who explained the meals to me. Make sure you have your cell phone because that is how you see the menu. Best meal out in a very long time. If you're tired of the same old restaurants please try Khana Shana!
