We
recently
stayed
in
the
Hemlock.
When
we
arrived,
we
fell
in
love
with
the
treehouse
and
aesthetic
of
the
whole
place,
especially
the
string
lights.
This
was
after
an
amazing
visit
the
previous
year
at
the
Maple
treehouse.
Unfortunately,
this
time
we
had
a
disappointing
stay.
It
could
have
been
so
magical
and
peaceful,
but
it
became
very
frustrating.
When
we
booked
this,
we
were
looking
forward
to
the
2
mornings
we
would
have:
Sitting
in
the
hot
tub,
sipping
coffee,
and
enjoying
the
peaceful
quiet
of
the
woods.
We
paid
a
lot
of
money
to
get
that
experience,
and
ultimately,
didnt
get
it.
The
Keurig
wasn't
working
and
we
were
told
no
one
was
on
site
to
look
at
it.
We
tried
looking
up
how
to
fix
it
but
it
never
worked
correctly.
Also,
we
found
an
issue
with
many
of
the
supplies.
The
aluminum
foil
had
only
1
inch
left
on
the
roll.
The
flashlight
batteries
were
almost
dead
and
it
was
very
dim
during
use.
All
of
the
lighters
for
the
fire/grill
were
nearly
out
of
fluid.
The
biggest
issues:
The
helicopter
tree
trimming
was
incredibly
loud
and
constant
throughout
our
multiple
days.
It
was
so
loud
that
we
could
hear
it
inside
the
treehouse;
and
even
more
frustrating,
was
that
the
power
would
be
out
for
hours
at
a
time!
No
one
contacted
us
about
the
power
being
out.
Only
after
we
messaged
them
was
it
addressed.
We
were
told
"The
power
should
be
back
on
around
530.
That's
when
it
came
back
on
the
other
day."
So
it
happened
before
and
we
weren't
given
a
heads
up
(prior
to
or
at
arrival)
that
it
could
be
happening
again?
I
understand
that
the
treehouse
management
had
no
control
over
this,
but
it
does
not
change
the
fact
that
it
was
incredibly
inconvenient
and
frustrating.
This
happened
both
of
the
days
we
were
there.
The
first
day
was
in
the
middle
of
cooking
a
large
spread
for
breakfast.
That
ruined
our
whole
morning.
The
next
day,
it
started
before
9am
and
woke
us
up.
Then
with
the
power
being
off
for
hours
after
that,
our
entire
morning
was
thrown
off,
as
well!
I
saw
on
social
media
that
there
was
a
new
treehouse
being
built,
which
made
me
concerned
about
construction
noise.
I
waited
to
see
if
I
would
be
contacted
about
it
as
a
heads-up,
but
when
I
wasn't,
I
reached
out.
I
was
told
that
the
construction
noise
would
not
impact
our
stay
whatsoever;
unfortunately,
that
was
wrong.
On
our
second
morning,
still
with
no
coffee,
when
the
helicopter
was
gone,
and
we
finally
got
our
power
back,
we
were
sitting
in
the
hot
tub
with
peace
and
quiet
for
only
a
few
minutes
until
we
heard
the
construction
noise
start
and
men
yelling
to
each
other
over
the
construction
sounds.
This
was
our
last
morning
-
our
last
opportunity
for
the
peaceful
moment
I
envisioned
and
looked
forward
to
all
year
-
and
it
was
ruined.
We
were
also
very
excited
to
use
the
outdoor
shower.
When
we
were
about
to
step
out
to
use
it,
a
man
in
a
yellow
shirt
(presumably
a
worker)
appeared
right
outside
our
door.
He
walked
around
the
exterior
of
the
treehouse
and
appeared
to
be
looking
for
any
lights
that
needed
replacing.
However,
if
we
had
gone
out
to
use
the
shower
even
a
minute
earlier,
he
would
have
seen
us
naked!
That
is
unacceptable.
We
should
have
been
notified
if
someone
was
going
to
be
coming
to
our
cabin
while
we
were
there.
The
focus
of
our
entire
stay
should
have
been
on
us,
since
it
was
for
a
very
special
anniversary.
But
the
focus
soon
became
all
about
the
helicopter
sounds,
the
power
outages,
and
the
construction
noise.
