👍👍 The entire staff at the Lodge took wonderful care of me and my 40 fellow club members during our stay there. Without exception the entire staff was professional, friendly, and extremely helpful. The level of service we received was on par with that of five-star luxury hotels charging many times more... People often mention stay, staff, great, clean, breakfast, rooms, nice,

Location and staff are great. However what is advertised as continental breakfast has only cereal, milk, yoghurt and 25 grams of sugar muffins. No toast, boiled eggs, anything to heat up. The room is basic, one table but. I chairs so if you want to eat before you leave you’ll eat on the bed or standing up. The

Great and clean facility. Overall pretty close to the Ohio University campus. Comfortable and modern rooms. My only disappointment was the included breakfast which turned out to be just packaged muffins, some juice and coffee… overall though I would recommend it and I’ll be back again!

The entire staff at the Lodge took wonderful care of me and my 40 fellow club members during our stay there. Without exception the entire staff was professional, friendly, and extremely helpful. The level of service we received was on par with that of five-star luxury hotels charging many times more than the Lodge does. As president of our organization, I had members constantly approaching to let me know how happy they were with our accommodations, and sharing their stories of the exceptional treatment they were receiving. The Lodge is an exceptional value, provides absolutely outstanding service, and has a wonderfully professional, yet friendly staff. I highly recommend this establishment to everyone!

We had an awesome experience here. We needed to find a cheaper hotel for a night stay. The nice gentleman at the front desk helped us out. They are pet friendly and that’s amazing for us. The rooms are so nice and the bed is so comfortable. The shower was amazing and the sink was awesome. I would stay here again!!

My husband and I and our dog Oakley enjoyed our stay at the Lodge. Everything was just as pictured. The hospitality was great and the rooms were very clean. The back patio was a nice place to sit and have coffee and watch the sunrise. Their complimentary coffee was excellent, too.

I will tell everyone I know about this place! Me and my husband had a great experience. We're excited to put together another weekend get-a-way here again soon. All the staff was PERFECT- I felt welcomed. The rooms were lovely and so clean. The grounds are beautiful, and the patio with seating and fire pit was a wonderful touch. The gorgeous lobby bar was well stocked, and had great micro beer on tap. Love this place!

5/2023. We stayed at The Lodge at Hocking College on a Saturday night during Mom’s weekend. They were sold out. My impression is this business is focused around people visiting OU, since the hotel is 20 min north of campus just off RT-33. The hotel is clean and safe (inside & outside). No loitering in the parking lot. My car was not molested. The employees are trained & friendly. This is a basic, no-frills hotel. All rooms have a queen bed. Limited furniture. Many electrical outlets. The breakfast is limited and simple (no fruits, no protein).

They gave us a cot for our extra guest and it kept collapsing. Very pricey. Breakfast was probably bought from the dollar store: individual serving milk, cereal, juice, and a packaged dessert. No elevator, no gym. Wifi kept cutting out. Terrible water pressure. They do give you a mini fridge in your room, and the blinds are nice. Athletically pleasing. Workers were nice. TV was nothing but commercials and they definitely weren't HD. Beds were less fluffy than your standard hotel. Seating in the lobby was nice.

Came down to visit my daughter at Ohio University for the weekend. The staff was great and friendly and made check in fast and easy! About a 15 minute drive to OU campus, so the location was great! Room was very nice updated and modern. Had drinks at bar and sat outside on back patio which has a couple of fire pits! Will definitely be back ever time I visit OU! Great place to stay!

I enjoyed my stay here very much specifically the modernity of the rooms and building and the fact that this is an invaluable way for Hocking college students to gain hospitality experience. Some things that need serious improvement and would cause me to stay elsewhere next time include the lack of food options for breakfast! At this price point there needs to be a decent hot breakfast that could include at the bare minimum basic things like eggs and potatoes-providing a good savory option and protein to start our day. The sugary fast food options that constitute breakfast right now are inadequate and unacceptable. Please implement this change immediately especially on weekends to start to rollout. This provides invaluable practice for the students of the culinary component of hospitality as well. Perhaps some whole wheat scones with yummy butter as a grab and go. Work with local businesses and catering to provide great options: maybe give a little upcharge for those who want a full breakfast! As a foodie and great chef, it is hard for me to stay anywhere anymore that does not provide decent, nutritious, substantial food options. My other huge concern is the cleanliness of the floors in the rooms. I asked for my floor to be mopped and it was still disgusting and gross and grimey even after it had been "mopped". Please train the students how to properly clean a room with hot soapy water so that when a towel is ran across it, it is actually pristine and clean.

I stayed here back in June when I was in the area for a class at the college. The staff at the lodge were very accommodating, the room was very clean and well kept, and the pricing was very fair for what I received. I also brought my bike along and rode the trail into Athens. I go all over the state for training and I stay in a lot of different hotels, but this has been my favorite so far.

Very clean, staff was great, got lost on the way there and staff stayed on phone and directed me until I go there. Rooms where big and it didn't hear a thing. Next time I am back that way definitely going to stay again.
