We cannot say enough about THE PRINCESS ANNE BOOK LOVERS INN. Heidi could not have done more. If you want an authentic British experience, it is here!! 🇬🇧 She incorporates the experience into all aspects of the house. The breakfast is lovely, including Irish butter and British tea. Heidi and Paul are fabulous hosts. I even had the opportunity to meet Heidi’s Mum. Such a beautiful family in every way!!! Thank you so much for an experience we will forever remember!!!!

My Husband and I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Princess Anne Book Lovers Inn during our trip to Princess Anne, MD, and it was an experience we'll always treasure. Especially as it was booked as a Birthday Gift! From the moment we stepped through the door, we were greeted with the warmth and charm that one can only find in a British-style Bed and Breakfast. The Inn's decor was an enchanting blend of classic elegance and cozy comfort, making us feel right at home. Each room was named after a famous literary character, and the shelves were filled with a remarkable collection of books. It was a haven for any bibliophile. Heidi was an extraordinary host, taking care of every detail to ensure our stay was beyond delightful. She was knowledgeable about the area and offered excellent recommendations for local attractions and dining spots, which added to the overall experience. But let's talk about breakfast – an absolute highlight! The morning meals were scrumptious and creative, with a touch of British flair. From savoring scones to relishing a full English breakfast, each day's culinary delight was a treat for our taste buds. The inn's location was also ideal, situated close to historic sites, charming shops, and picturesque landscapes. Exploring the surrounding town was a joy, and we found ourselves immersed in its rich history and friendly community. We can't recommend The Princess Anne Book Lovers Inn highly enough for those seeking a peaceful and unique escape. Whether you're a book enthusiast or simply looking for a cozy retreat, this B&B offers an unforgettable experience. We left with fond memories and a desire to return someday. Thank you, Princess Anne Book Lovers Inn, for making our stay, and my Birthday, so special!

I write this with much sincerity. Grateful I am for the pleasure of not only staying at such a magical place, the Book Lovers Inn, but more importantly is the pleasure of meeting such an amazing host! She has been incredible to my partner and I during our stay. She was informative of many of the local attractions and hole-in-the-wall spots, took the time to guide and educate us throughout the house, and shared a special part of her heart to us (her culture and story). I needn't say more as to not spoil too much for any potential new guests, but if you are looking for a world away from the world, tucked away by the quite shores of the east, clean enchanting décor, and a caring host, then this is the place for you.

Heidi is an amazing hostess. Warm welcoming, kind, she pulled out all the stops to make me and my partner comfortable. We have a dairy allergy and she altered recipies so she could still offer the English experience she is known for. That touch made us feel included and cared for. You just can't get that at any BNB. We stayed in the Jane Austin Suite, we lounged around on antique beds, soaked in a claw foot tub, and slept comfortably on a brand new mattress. Book Lovers Inn is the quintessential bnb experience you are looking for. Thank you, Heidi and Paul. You have helped me make memories and friendships that will last a lifetime. <3

We stayed at the Book Lovers Inn and loved it. Highly recommend for personalized service and Heidi's sweet touch. Very safe, quiet and nice alternative on a weekend when all the hotel rooms were booked in town. Bed is very comfortable. Fyi, no tv in room. Tv is in common area downstairs. We weren't in our room enough to miss having it. Close to everything in town, able to walk to some locations. 5+/5

This place is one of a kind. From the room decor to the overall atmosphere. Perfect for me, time/self care stay. The host Hiedi was perfect, and the imported English tea and cookies were to die for. I can't wait for the summer to have a small girls trip here.

Heidi the owner really knows how to give excellent customer service. We had the most wonderful experience. Everything was perfectly clean, through to the luxurious rooms and perfectly cooked and delicious breakfast. Heidi greeted us with warm and was professional and thorough. We especially enjoyed the peace and tranquillity throughout the Inn. Loved the library room with the beautiful fireplace and classical music. This place is a MUST!! It’s great for a romantic time away, girlfriends weekend away, it’s simply the best for anyone! I can’t wait to go back again!!!!

We had such a wonderful time the first time back in Oct 2021 attending family day for Salisbury University we decided to rent out the whole place for our daughters graduation May 20-23, 2022. Heidi was such a gracious host and made her home feel like our home. Since our family is located across the country (CA, CO, NJ & MD) it was so nice to relax in a very very clean and welcoming environment!! With late night celebrations throughout the weekend, the morning breakfast was delicious and hit the spot. We recommend this place highly and can not wait to get back!!

My friend and I stayed at the Book Lovers Inn in Princess Anne while exploring the peninsula. The entire experience was lovely - quiet, peaceful, and very homey - and the owner and host, Heidi, is the reason it works so well. She is very thoughtful, handling my request for a vegetarian breakfast by creating a beautiful fruit parfait. But the best part was talking with her. She's an excellent conversationalist and shared many of her experiences with us over breakfast. Heidi is a true delight. I can't recommend her B&B highly enough.

Took my wife during the Pony Swim in Chincoteague. The location here allowed us to spend the day in Ocean City a separate day and feel like we were coming home. The hostess, Mrs. Heidi was absolutely amazing. She was incredibly thoughtful and took great care of us. The rooms felt warm and inviting with plenty of space, comfy beds, superb water pressure (iykyk), and everything was clean. 100% would recommend and will reserve again.
