Stayed in Llama house several times in various seasons. Location is great for hiking, skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, kayaking, rafting and many other kinds of fun and relaxation. Dave is a great, knowledgeable and helpful host, atmosphere is super friendly - you will feel at home or better! The house is clean, comfortable, and cozy. Add the friendliest and smartest dog, Wilson - and you get the picture! Highly recommended!

Stayed with Dave and his dog Wilson for 2 nights. Great, comfortable mattresses - and I am picky. Very clean and amazing hospitality from my host! Each room is decorated/designed by handcrafted individuality. There are fine, well-thought out additions like some commonly forgotten toiletries and access to condiments that are available as an added touch - making my stay even more delightful. Peaceful environment both inside (incl. communal rooms) and outside! Looking forward to visiting again :)

Stayed here for a weekend and had the best time! David and his dog Wilson are awesome, the place was really welcoming and felt like home. Very relaxing but also a great place to meet new people. Overall a great place to stay in the Adirondacks!

Stayed for one night in May after hiking Mt Marcy. Dave the host was there to meet us with the dog Wilson. Place very fitting for some travelers wanting to spend the night, and I can see it being very fit for those who would want to spend 2-3 days in the Daks.

Stay for one night Oct 8-9, Host Dave and Wilson (dog) were great hosts. ... House very cozy, clean, spacious and comfortable. Dave is very knowledgeable about the area and gave us great hiking suggestions. Foliage is at its peak right now. Definitely will stay here again. Highly recommend.

David runs a wonderful facility and is super friendly. Feels like a home away from home. Beautiful view of the stars at night. Just a wonderful time overall.

Stayed here for on Christmas Eve and had a relaxing day. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and each room had something unique about it. I had opted for the Chain Link room and it was very comfortable. Host was very friendly and the resident dog Wilson is an absolute cutie..!!

The Llama house is a great place to relax, work and enjoy the mountains! Not only the space is cozy and well-equipped but David is an amazing host. He will give you recommendations worth following! He is friendly and his collection of vinyl records is amazing: don’t hesitate to play any randomly!

Dave was amazing!!! We had to find a place due to unforeseen circumstances and when I called at 11pm, Dave picked up the phone from what sounded like a deep sleep. He gladly offered us a room, got up and went to the house and provided the fresh linens we would need once we arrived. He waited for us and gave us a tour of the house as well as showing us to our room. We were so grateful for Dave going above and beyond to make sure our stay was a positive one😊

I just happened to come across this beautiful home when searching on the internet for a place to stay while we were in the area for a wedding. What a hidden gem! This is truly a home away from home. Dave and Wilson (the most handsome four legged host) are the best. We felt welcome from the minute we pulled into the driveway. Every detail was covered-plenty of fresh towels, fresh coffee, beautiful rooms, clean, and even Tylenol to help me after too many wedding beverages! We will be back! Gore is a short 10 minute drive! Thank you Dave and Wilson for a great quick get-a-away!

One night stay enroute to Vermont. Enjoyed our stay and meeting our hosts Dave and Wilson. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Great area for all season outdoor activities!!

Stayed at the Llama house for a night on a hiking trip to the high peaks. It's a very cozy place with nice decorations and books and a well-equipped bathroom. Dave was great and very accommodating, and it was fun to be greeted by his wonderful dog! I would love to stay again on future trips.
