👍👍 We had an amazing time here at the Stables! The staff was impeccably kind and welcoming, the horses were amazing and so well trained. It was incredibly hot on the day we went and they had free water available. I would recommend for a fun afternoon activity! People often mention ride, time, horses, trail,

Friendly and helpful staff. The stables are clean and have well manicured grounds. They have a place for events. They also have little animals for the kids to enjoy; ponies for kids to ride along with the family. And complimentary water.

All I can say is AMAZING! From Doug who took very good care of us to my tour guide(sorry forgot his name) everything was awesome. I got to ride Eeyore. He was so gentle and easy to ride. You can tell they are cared for and loved! I can't tell you in words what this experience meant to me! Thank you❤️❤️

We went to The Stables Saturday 4/15/23. We called the night before and got an immediate reservation. The man at the counter was VERY nice and informative. Our guide was also nice and very knowledgeable about the horses and what to expect. We rode Hank and Beau. Prices are fair and the place is BEAUTIFUL and well taken care of. We definitely enjoyed our trail ride and would come back if in the area.

My wife and her sister took the tour, and really enjoyed it. The gift shop is nice and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

My daughters & I were going to do foot golf, but the course was flooded due to recent storms. The archery experience was our first time and a worthwhile substitute. It fully met our expectations, and Jansen was an excellent guide and teacher.

Beautiful stables and well cared for horses! Trails are thru wooded and hilly areas so not a usual flat, boring ride. Highly recommend!

They do a fantastic job with trail rides and even little pony rides for the kids. It was about $200 for myself and two of my kids to go. We went on a 45 minute trail ride on a Saturday morning. We scheduled it ahead of time. They were very flexible and easy going and we thoroughly enjoyed our time. They have a huge property with walking trails as well. We saw several deer throughout the different trails and they we were very calm and close to us, likely because of the presence of the horses. It was well worth it and we would definitely like to do it again. They do an excellent job of knowing each horse and taking care of the animals in a personal way. You can take a tour of the stables as well. They had some very small ponies that they take the little kids for rides on. Definitely worth checking out!

Friendly staff, beautiful setting, and gorgeous horses. We visited twice during our 2-day stay in French Lick. We took a stables tour ($5 per person). And our daughter did a pony ride ($25; includes a cowboy hat or bandana). Be sure to call and make reservations in advance. This was a busy place.

We just got home from our visit to the The Stables at the French Lick Resort. (3 hour drive - one way) Doug, at the front desk, was amazing. He was so kind and inviting. I called like 5 times in the week I had the reservation for various reasons. He was so nice and accommodating. The ladies that helped us with the horses, got us on them, talked us through how to guide them, and lead us were so knowledgeable and patient with us. If we had questions, they had answers. The trail itself was breathtaking. Right after the first snow of the season, it was cold, but man was it beautiful. We saw several deer on the trail and in the woods around it. We had my 9 yo son with us and they were so great with him, as he had never ridden before. He LOVED IT! We will definitely be going back. I cannot recommend this place more.

This was my second expirence with the Stables at French Lick (the first being their skeet shooting course and the second being their hayride, pumpkin picking, smores night). Both times I felt an overwhelming amount of hospitality and kindness. The staff at the stables go above and beyond to make you feel like family/friends. They have very nice buildings with plenty of amenities. I would highly recommend booking an activity at the Stables as I am positive that it will be a great time for all of those involved.
