I enjoyed a relaxing night at Tidewater’s main hotel. In Easton, it’s the place to stay. A fairly recent remodeling addresses all issues raised in certain older reviews. The hotel, grounds, bar, and restaurant are all spectacular with a perfect balance of history. The room I stayed in was very comfortable, recently redecorated, and very clean. Staff was very cordial and helpful. Highly recommended.

Stayed here over the weekend. The hotel is beautiful and in a great location. Downsides are you cannot control the room temperature and it was way too warm. And keep in mind this is a great place for events/wedding which means a lot of noise. This isn't a complaint because we knew this when we booked it but if you are looking for quiet you might want another spot.

We stayed at the Tidewater Inn for our wedding night this month. The hotel was very pretty and the service was great. They upgraded our room due since it was our honeymoon. We had breakfast the next day in the restaurant and the food and service were great. Parking was easy with a private lot behind the hotel. I'd highly recommend the Tidewater Inn for a nice vacation in Easton. BTW, St. Micheals is only 15 minutes away.

I was there over the weekend for my sons wedding. I love the historic venue, it’s truly breathtaking and made for a gorgeous backdrop for photos. However, the staff was less than courteous, not friendly, not helpful or welcoming. For nearly $300 per night (and that was the wedding guest discount) check in was very basic, no formal introduction or direction of any sort. We had to go down to the desk on 3 occasions because our key card stopped working. No phone in the room to call down for room service, you have to use your cell phone or physically go down there. Check out was Sunday at 11am and at 9 we had housekeeping knocking on the door checking to see if they could start cleaning early. We went down for breakfast at 10 and the hostess was rude and unfriendly. When we said we were there for breakfast she said “it ends at 10:30” as if she preferred we didn’t enter. After speaking with our son and his new bride which were already there seated, they had the same interaction with her. Then when my daughter came in about 10 mins later she said the same thing about the hostess. She should be moved to a position that is not guest facing. After getting home Sunday evening i realized i left my pajamas in the room, i called and was told housekeeping wasn’t in and suggested i leave a voice mail, so i did. On Monday i called again and was told no one from housekeeping turned anything in. I called again today and was told still nothing was turned in and that nothing had been recorded in the “i left my stuff” portal or whatever that was and transferred me again to housekeeping to leave a message which i did. The wedding was beautiful but the management and service is in need of much improvement. And i have zero hope that my pajamas will ever be returned. Very disappointing. My husband and i have stayed there many times, it’s always been a favorite place to stay but i doubt we’ll ever stay again.

No rooms at the Inn, but our wedding brunch met the Gold standard! After an autumn wedding at our home on the Eastern Shore, we hosted a farewell brunch at the Tidewater’s Gold Room for well over a hundred guests. Lauren and her events staff made everything beautiful and so easy! Bountiful breakfast buffet, an assortment of beverages at the bar, lovely table linens, and a crab cake station to say “you’re in Maryland” one more time! Thanks to the Tidewater for a perfectly executed send-off!

Given there’s practically no place else to stay in Easton. It’s pretty good. The people are really nice which matters and the restaurants not bad. They do allow pets, which is nice for people that have pets.

We visited Tidewater Inn as a possible venue for our wedding. We weren't able to see the rooms used for bridal suites or any of the first rooms but we did see the rooms that are used to host wedding receptions and ceremonies. We also ate at the restaurant the food was delicious, I had the fries and the Flipper. Every one was friendly and efficient.

The Hunters Tavern is a classy place with a limited but excellent menu and attentive staff. As the noise level is delightfully lower than most places, you can actually converse with friends. One of my go- tos for a pleasant lunch or dinner.

Got to stay in The Tidewater House, sister to The Tidewater Inn for the first time. What an incredible experience. Beautiful rooms, super comfortable beds, fire pit ambiance in the evenings. And the Innkeeper Monica was the BEST!

Tidewater House was incredible! We were invited to a wedding in October, but when my husband called in July to make a reservation for a room there was nothing available in the main hotel. However the Tidewater House was open. We had never done a B&B experience and weren't sure what to expect. Even before we arrived we were treated with great service. Monica called to confirm our arrival time to ensure she was able to greet us. Once we arrived, we were greeted by Monica who showed us the in's and out's of the Tidewater House, gave us the how-to's of getting in and offered some lovely options for things to do. We booked the French Suite, and it was PERFECT! The room was stunning and luxurious, we were given champagne to enjoy while we settled in and get ready for the wedding. Just down the street we were able to enjoy a stunning wedding, wonderful food, and picture perfect backdrop. Monica truly set us up for a wonderful stay and we will certainly be back to enjoy the french room. Having stayed at the main hotel before we knew it was wonderful but after this stay, we have been raving about the experience we just had.

We wanted a special place to celebrate our 10th Anniversary and thought the Tidewater would be perfect. We were wrong. We booked the Fall In Love package, which included champagne and oysters. The champagne was served poorly and it wasn't chilled, the oysters were ok. The restaurant was again ok. We waited an extremely long time between receiving our oysters and starter and our main courses, we had turtle soup for a starter. Turltle soup was delicious. The steaks were cooked nicely, the cuts of steak were average, but a little tough. The room was very basic, the bathroom and shower very small. The spa was closed when were here. Disappointing because we were wanting the couple massage. I struggle to find the luxury that we were expecting. We love dogs, but not in a "luxury" hotel. The small dog did not stop barking. There is nothing in the area open past 5pm aside from a couple eateries. Although the location is beautiful, there is nothing to do. The courtyard was being used for a wedding rehearsal so we couldn't even enjoy that part of the venue. Overall we were not impressed. I will say the service staff were friendly. There were no valets or staff to help with your luggage. Definitely not the luxury experience we thought we were goung to receive.

Monica was absolutely fantastic. The room was beautiful the bed was comfortable. The TV is on the fritz however, I forgot to tell Monica about that.
