Amazing museum. My kids loved looking at the military vehicles. They have a beautiful sitting area where are the flags are located with really nice benches and various saying on the wall. It was really nice to relax there and enjoy the peace. They have a canteen with food and merchandise for sale. They do have various other sitting areas for you and your family to relax. This is a pretty good size museum so it does require some walking inside and outside. At night various travelers parked outside a parking area to rest and sleep. The area is well lit and feels safe. It’s wonderful. They do have WiFi. I would recommend this museum to anybody passing by or traveling to Yellowstone. It’s beautiful and very enjoyable.

Stopped in after a hike, and it was exceptional. If I am ever in the area again, I would return. Mostly WW2, but it had a little of everything ( I really liked the Vietnam section showing how things would be setup in the field). Very well done.

I am a former Army tank and cavalry officer. I'm also a student of military history and have been to many military museums both here and in Europe. This museum is likely the best museum of its kind I've ever seen. It's collection of armored vehicles is extensive and varied and there are a number of rare and unique items in the collection. The museum is very well laid out and the displays are professionally done. The owner of this museum has a passion for armored vehicles and history and he really put his heart in to making this a first class and exceptional museum. How good is it? It's worth every penny of the trip to Dubois, Wyoming. In another very gracious move, veterans are admitted free of charge. I cannot say enough good things about this museum or Mr. Starks, the owner. This museum is a 10/10. Experience it for yourself.

This was absolutely one of my favorite stops on our vacation. If you can make it a part of your trip, I 100% recommend visiting. The displays were amazing and very though provoking. My sister and I both had goosebumps walking through the museum. Thinking of our men and women in uniform and what they endured as they served our country was very humbling experience.

Great place for anyone even remotely interested in U.S. military history. When I first got here I expected a few dozen tanks at most, those being very basic ones. I'm happy to say I was amazed by the massive selection offered inside and outside of the museum. Having massive displays of guns, tanks, trucks, and even two jets. They even had some equipment from other countries, such as Germany and Japan. Near by to the museum is a decent sized hall where they hold events. When I went was the anniversary of the September 11th attacks. I was amazed by the show of patriotism and stories of those who gave the ultimate price for freedom. I hope that everyone enjoys this place as much as I did!

We were surprised by this beautiful and extremely nice stop on our drive through Wyoming. The museum is wonderfully maintained, with a breadth of history on display. They offer guided tours, have a nice gift shop, and an incredible display of military vehicles outside.

Wowza. What a place. We travel full-time and stayed in Pine Bluffs before we got to our month stay in Lander. We were talking to locals and they mentioned going here during our stay. They said it was a MUST. We definitely agree. This place is huge and full of history. Everything is so sharp and clean. The displays were carefully thought out and just everything about this place is perfect how it is. The amount of vehicles is mind-blowing. We spent 5 hours here. They offer tours throughout the day as well. You can tell the owner is extremely passionate about this. There's also a place to eat on the grounds. Food is made to order and is really good for a decent price. We leave Wyoming tomorrow but would totally come back. I feel like not many people know about this place. I think you guys should look into being a host on Harvest Host! This would get people to stay here and they'd end up going to the museum. We saw so many RVs/trailers pass by while we were eating at the cafe.

Where to begin?? This is not what we were expecting, we expected a few tanks and other military vehicles and nothing else. This place is not that at all! They have a ginormous collection of military vehicles from World War I and II, to the Korean War, and Vietnam War. They also have a huge collection of military weapons. But it’s more then that. Everything is presented in a way that not only makes sense, but gives you the history behind the vehicle, along with its specs, and how it was used in war. This is easily a 2 days museum, which they give you when you pay for admission. They still go above all of that and give you the history of each war and the events that take place during each one. This is one of the best put together private museums I have ever been to.

What an awesome museum! Unfortunately the day we passed by it was closed but this museum is so awesome that they still leave the outside area available to visit to whoever passes by! I’m sad I didn’t go inside but it was still worth seeing all the vehicles outside!! Maybe on our next trip to USA we’ll have a chance to visit this museum. Great work in restoring many of these relics! Keep it up!

We visited the National Museum of Military Vehicles yesterday. Amazing Museum! Enormous collection of tanks, tank destroyers, military trucks, jeeps, armored personnel carriers, artillery, River boats and guns. Excellent descriptions of each item along with many quotes or stories from service members who used the equipment. Organized by World War I & II, Korea and Vietnam, and also by vehicles used in different campaigns, i.e. D-Day, Red Bull Express, Africa, Battle of the Bulge, Chosin Reservoir. And it is huge.

This museum is well worth the visit. It is a top class destination. My 84 year old Dad and myself visited and it is incredible. He is retired military and as such received free admission. They had a large number of motorized scooters available for use by patrons at no charge. They have a huge room with small arms on display. It was a fascinating place with well organized and laid out displays. Lots of informational signs to explain what you are looking at as well.

I have visited many museums in my 62 years and I have to say this is one of the best I have ever experienced. Initially, I was not eager to go here, as I am not a huge fan of military history. Now, I am hoping for the chance to return. The entrance fee is $20, but it is good for 2 days. If you can't take 2 days, at least plan a full day here. This museum is dense with information. The exhibits are exceptional. They have the best Vietnam exhibit I have ever seen. The quality and planning put into this museum is evident from the first exhibit to the last. It is well worth the trip.

We got here with only 1 1/2 hrs to spare and could have spent all day viewing the countless number of vehicles and wonderful displays and quotes and layers and layers of incredible history. We didn't even get to go into the vault. This place is in the middle of nowhere but SO SO worth the stop in. $20 entry fee for adults, and believe me, it's worth twice that. This is the best military museum we've ever been in.

Mind-Blowing Military Museum! I recently had the pleasure of visiting the military museum in Dubois, Wyoming, and I can’t stop raving about it. The exhibits are unbelievably well-maintained and the attention to detail was unbelievable. Located in the middle of nowhere, the museum’s quality was ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️. I’m already planning my next visit. Trust me, it’s worth the journey. A definite must-visit for anyone looking for a unique and outstanding experience. I’m not a war buff.
