It’s so refreshing to find a business ran by the younger generation who have awesome customer service skills. The young men running this cidery offered great conversation and cared about your experience. They deep clean the areas customers leave to respect the covid rules as well, if that’s a concern of yours. Thank you gentlemen! You give me hope for a great future!

Wow!! We had never been to 814 Cider Works before and we were just blown away! Such a nice place with FANTASTIC ciders of all different flavors, AND the nicest people working there! I highly recommend checking this out especially if they have a live band playing. Love it and can't wait to go back!!!!

The owners a awesome!! Very personable and you can tell the excitement in the description of their business. All their ciders were great. The Habby Valley is awesome. Has habanero in it but not spicy....just enough to let u know that it is there. Definitely a must!

The atmosphere, cider, and servers were awesome. I would say an area for improvement would be that the food truck wasn't prepared for the volume of people. Overall great time!

If you enjoy ciders, definitely check this place out. All of the ciders I tried were great and would order again. A small beer, pop, and juice selection is offered as well. The atmosphere is very relaxed and great for a weekend afternoon. Outdoor games to play are offered as well to make your visit more fun. Local food trucks are also present. When I visited, Bonnie Blue food truck was there and it was delicious. Will be back for sure.

Love this place, I was not sure I would like hard cider, but it really is quite delicious...even as a dry white wine person..the semi sweet ciders are not that 'sweet' . Hubby and I have very different likes with wine and beer, yet we both agree the 814 Cidery has great beverages. They are upbeat, happy owners. The clientele is all very nice for a small space. A great place and we plan on going often. Heck I even bought a tshirt!!!

Stopped spur of the moment for a flight tasting. Can bring your own growler for a fill, which can save $5 on not having to buy one. Will need to remember for next time. Can buy prefilled sealed cap (like beer) bottles, but only 750 ml.

Wow, I had a great time here. My boyfriend and I like trying all kinds of ciders from different places. This was one of the best we have ever been to. The cider was excellent and the service was incredible. I wish we lived closer so we could go more often.

We decided to hit a few cideries instead of the wineries. We ordered the flights of 6 to sample. There is a cider for everyone. I personally liked the tart and crisp ciders. The fellas that were serving up the ciders were great. The whole atmosphere of 4he cidery was awesome. We will be back our next trip to the area.

Staff are always friendly and professional. The cider is great with lots of sweet and dry options. The food truck that day was Happy Dishes which was fine and the meat was cooked well although not a big fan of super sweet BBQ.

I came to State College last year. I have never tried apple cider before. Hot apple cider was life saver for me last winter. And J. L. Farm is the only source of hot apple cider here in State College. I prefer non-alcoholic so... Whenever I go to J. L. Farm I buy 2 litre hot cider at a time. It is so refreshing and naturally sweet. No one should miss the opportunity to have apple cider if you are in State College.

Always a good time here! The employees are awesome and always working hard to take orders and get drinks delivered. Atmosphere is great and having a band there is a plus. The food trucks vary, but seem to be quite good.

This place is a good option to spend some quality time with family or friends while enjoying a vast selection of excellent ciders. The staff has excellent customer service skills. Note: They don't have food but there is always a different food truck in the place. However, I have been there multiple times and never particularly enjoyed the food, but I guess, you don't go there for the food. Greatly recommended it.

We have been here many times and enjoyed each visit. They have a small inside area for sitting with TVs and the cider bar. Outside they have a large, covered seating area, a rotating food truck service, walking path through the orchard, and many additional seating options including grass areas you can picnic on. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Options for tap coder rotate with the remaining selection available via bottled cider. The variety is great, the quality excellent, and the atmosphere warm and welcoming. We have been with our small kids who love seeing the orchard and playing games on the lawn. Highly recommend for family time, date time, solo time, friend time, or any other occasion.
