It is one the best cafe in state college with a friendly staff. PS: There's a piano there, so if y'all know how to play it's a plus

Consistently great food, coffee, and service! Usually long lines on the weekends, but don't let that deter you from coming. Line moves relatively quickly given the volume of customers.

In State College, a cozy place I've found, Where Sowers Harvest Cafe stands renowned. Omelettes, a delight, they truly excel, With coffee's warmth and pretzels that compel. The staff, a radiant, welcoming crew, Their smiles and kindness, a welcoming hue. Each plate they serve, a masterpiece divine, A taste of love in every single line. A secret, a treasure, the Grillitilla's grace, A twist to the omelette, a flavorful embrace. Transformed to panini, quesadilla's delight, A symphony of flavors, a culinary flight. So if you seek a haven, a culinary spree, In State College, Sowers, your heart will decree. With omelettes, pretzels, and coffee so grand, A warm, friendly haven, a taste so grand.

There are a ton of things when speaking highly about this place. First off, the service is phenomenal every time you walk in the door. The staff is extremely friendly and they all seem like they enjoy being there. When you walk in there it feels very homely and they do a really good job with the decor. The food is also tremendous. You won’t find a better soft pretzel anywhere in the area and the sandwiches are all made on sourdough bread. It’s also a great spot to go for a coffee or tea to go.

This is the best, little cafe in State College! The food and service were incredible and the atmosphere was perfect! Their commitment to natural, local ingredients makes a difference in taste! The coffee was stellar and there were gluten-free bread options! I took home some of their famous soft pretzels for our family, and they were a big hit! We will definitely be stopping here on our next visit to University Park!

Wow! What a place. Located in a nondescript older apartment building, facing the side street-fed parking lot, you’re transported into a calming and comfortable cafe. Impeccably decorated and impeccably clean, you’re offered tons of healthy and fresh breakfast and lunch options with loads of locally sourced ingredients. Service is efficient and friendly. Soft pretzels - large ones - are made fresh constantly. No stale food here. Fresh fruit, local eggs, local bread. Everything made to perfection. Great find.

Great lunch stop! We were just passing through town and looking for lunch. Best part, they cater to kids. Not only a great and reasonable menu for kids, but they also had a few toys and puzzles to keep young ones busy. Would highly recommend. The whole family enjoyed their lunch.

Hands down the best cup of coffee I have ever had. I dream of this coffee. Looking forward to my next visit to the area and another chance to enjoy the hand crafted perfection they brew up here.

Stopped in this week visiting State College around the 4th holiday. First visit to Sowers. Had a wonderful omelet and was invited to customize it just the way I wanted by the counter staff. My family all enjoyed their meals as well. Our table provided a perch to watch the meal preparation and kitchen staff at work while we ate. They are a well oiled machine and it shows in the quality of the product. Lastly, the active listening quote on the wall (in the men's room of all places!) was refreshing and inspiring!

Another top restaurant of State College. I believe they have the best pretzel I have ever eaten. Today we came for breakfast and had Spicy Mango chicken Panini and Omlette with Veggies. Both were perfect for breakfast. For the first time I had Chai Latte with Macademia milk. I absolutely loved it. I love their presentation style. It does not looks posh but simple and artistic. Nice ambience and friendly service.

That may have been the best omelette I've ever had. In fact I'm pretty sure it was because it's never occurred to me to even rank omelettes until I had that one. Tea latte was absolutely delicious. Everyone was so friendly. They were BUSY and rocked it out. Absolutely awesome and a must stop when I'm anywhere near town from now on. Thank you!!!!

Wonderful experience with friendly staff and great food/drink. Love the authentic environment. Will definitely visit anytime that I'm in the area. We had a burger, spicy chicken salad, and cocoa dusted mint latte. Enjoyed all of it.

I always enjoy going to Sowers in downtown State College. I have been there a bunch of times. They have amazing soft pretzels, great omelets, and a bunch of other good stuff. They also have pretty good vegetarian (not necessarily vegan) options. The place gets pretty busy around lunch time, but the staff is usually up to the task. NOTE: they have burgers on Thursdays.

Great food! Loved our beatiful morning breakfast with some fresh taste! Ordered sandwich and coffee, and loved it. Cozy comfortable space to enjoy with family. The outside seating was perfect, as there aren’t much space inside. Heard a lot of compliments from friends as well, next time will try their burger.

Great place! Food is amazing. But it's quite pricey. Breakfast +tips + coffee for two people would cost you about $40

Went here this afternoon for the first time with my grandparents who were visiting from 1.5 hour away. Food was great!! I highly recommend the pretzels! The plain was so good, I got a cinnamon sugar pretzel to take home. Everyone is super friendly and the food is made fresh! We will definitely be going here again!

Best burger we tried in State College. So fresh and delicious. Their coffee is sooo well. A must try place for breakfast and lunch. Little expensive but really worth it.

Amazing cafe with excellent food and drinks. The real draw here is that this place feels less like a cafe trying to make a profit and more like a close group of friends providing a service that they take pride in. The breakfast sandwich was extremely tasty, their GF options are a hit as well, and the coffee was spot on. This is the place to go if you want something made with care.

Great Pretzel Cafe, with authentic Amish style. Coffee is served whether using an espresso machine or regular brewing. For my taste, I usually like espresso style, but the light roast brewed Coffee is good as well. And of course, the soft pretzel is amazing. Love it.

Came here from Ohio with a friend on a Saturday around noon… VERY crowded but the line moved efficiently and we MANAGED to find a spot to eat. The food was excellent!! (Spicy mango sandwich) and the staff very friendly! Worth it and typical coffee spot prices
