This place is super cute and has such a fun energy about it. Every single member of the staff was absolutely fantastic. The bar makes some stellar drinks and the food is not only presented beautifully, but also tastes divine!! The only disappointment is that I live so close and didn’t come here sooner!

Awesome drag brunch and blast of a time at the pool - a perfect birthday afternoon! Food was great - we had chicken and waffles, Mac and cheese starter and shrimp n grits. Staff are lovely. Loved the diverse and delving feel at the pool and the party continued - even in the rain. Blast of a spot to spend an afternoon!

The Country club is its own experience. I have been there for lunch brunch and dinner. Drag brunch is fabulous and the food is great. The atmosphere can depend on the crowd but the diversity is beautiful. I hear it was clothing optional before…… but never experienced the joy. Great to go during the summer to get drinks and lounge in the pool. Or great to get dressed up and sit down for a meal or an excellent cocktail.

A must experience stop. High style parlor dining with beautiful and unique dining rooms with custom paintings. The crab beignets were divine. Menu is limited but quality food. The pool is available for use for $20 a day.

What a gem of a find on an unusually wintery afternoon as I walked/visited around Bywater! It was all expertly enabled by the friendliest and welcoming doorman turned venue tour guide, Tim. He showed me all the art work and different spaces/ambience to be enjoyed and then directed me to the pool/jacuzzi/outdoor deck. Lovely concept of spa luxury and great small bites/cocktails to enjoy a full day of relaxation. The bartender/server at bar was also very attentive, friendly and helpful. Really a really enjoyable day thanks to this combo of great staff + wonderfully executed venue to chill and be enjoyed at leisure. Thank you for giving me what I didn't know of I so needed :)

We just went to Drag Brunch here this weekend and it was THE BEST time. The space itself is gorgeous and and the performances were amazing. The entire crowd is so full of joy and life - it was electrifying. Every time another dancer comes out the entire place would belt out the song together. The food is good - not necessarily on par with all of the amazing food New Orleans has to offer but it is tasty and also it really takes a backseat the the entire experience. 10000/10 would definitely recommend!!

We went here for drag brunch and I must say it was OK. The food is pretty well prepared but nothing spectacular or special. Given all your options in New Orleans for this price point I've been to much more gastrointestinal exciting places. As for the show I've been to many drag brunches and this one was just Sleepy. First of all the location is very divided up so you spend most of your time not really able to see any performer. There really is no hype or DJ didn't even hear good introductions. The performers themselves just move amongst the tables taking your dollars. Very little if any choreography. Very little lipsyncing and when done it was half hearted and off the mark. The costumes are top notch though. Drinks were also pretty normal especially after getting brunch at Jewel of the South. Overall I don't think I'd do this again. Large crowds expensive food not offset by the experience

Initially I was disappointed our reservation was somehow cancelled and we lost a table and had to sit at the bar. The bar seats that were suggested were great for the show and ended up being the best seats in the house. We got our food and drinks faster than the tables. We had a great view of the drag show. It was so much fun and the food was amazing I don't even care if our reservation was cancelled. The pool was enjoyable too. The hot tub could use a little more cleaning out maintenance, but I'm sure it's hard to keep up with how many people are there on a holiday weekend. We will be back next time we visit New Orleans.

I have been hearing about the drag brunch at the country club for quite some time now. I was so happy that I could finally go, but did not truly enjoy the experience. The food was absolutely delicious and by far the best part of the outing!! The service was kind of lacking and the person that was changing out bills shorted me about $5. Not cool. The layout for the drag show was a little awkward and the music was really loud which kind of ruined the ambiance.

This is a brunch review. This was a great break from the usual New Orleans stuff, but worth the trip. It looks...like a...Country Club from the outside, and apparently has a ridiculous pool too in addition to the bar/restaurant. Next time for the pool. Matias was our server, and brought forth incredible efficiency and personality to an environment where I might have been...a little out of my typical comfort zone. Good luck in the remainder of law school, Matias. The dancers were energetic, and in your face, but never too over the top. And, if you hypothetically get up and start singing & dancing randomly to Whitney Houston with them, they embrace that too. I had the crabcake and egg for food, and it was off the hook. I wasn't expecting the food to be that good when we were primarily going for the performance. You should get that. You can do a carafe for mimosas, and they had a local IPA for me. This was just a really, really fun experience, folks. Definitely try and fit this in your schedule.

Overall a great birthday experience. The service was great and entertaining. Poodle was a highlight of the brunch! He’s hilarious. The food and drinks were great. I agree with other reviews about the actual drag performers. It was weird being in a room alone and hearing the performers getting cheers but not being able to see them. On the other hand, it was easy to enjoy your food while they weren’t in your room but still performing. I wanted to take a star off for the actual performances but gave them a star back because the bathroom is one of the most beautiful bathrooms in New Orleans! A great experience but I will probably look for more entertaining drag shows.

Came here for a day swim with a group of friends. 20 dollars to get into the pool and 2 dollars for a towel. Drinks are a little expensive when it’s not happy hour. The place is a nice chill vibe with good music. The food on the other hand is well worth the price. The mac and cheese was phenomenal. Made with truffle oil, this added the most perfect touch to a classic dish. The hamburger and chicken burger were also incredible. Flavourful, juicy, moist, all wrapped into one. And their fries are the tastiest I’ve had in NOLA. Next time I’m coming just for food

This place was amazing! I had no expectations but I was absolutely blown away! We were visiting from DC and this was my first time in NOLA! My bf and I had the best time chatting with the servers and the security guards at the front! We sat on the front porch and had one of the most incredible meals of my life. So thankful for this place and our amazing experience. Can’t wait to come back.

Very good excellent service and beautiful venue. Parking is hard to find so give yourself extra time. The mussels were excellent. The chillaquiles were okay as I'm from Texas I can be a little hard to please. Not very spicy but decent. The coffee was drip and amazing as were the drinks. The pool is also open now. Patio dining is great here. They do have security and they do temperature checks before allowing you entry.

The drag show was fantastic. I'm not usually a big fan of drag branches but the way they have it orchestrated works out perfectly. Each performer does three numbers perset, performing in different dining areas of the country club. What this means is that you have roughly two songs worth of time to enjoy your food and conversation with your friends before you get to enjoy a show. Then the next performer comes on and the process continues. I can confidently say that drag branches aren't known for their fantastic food but this place is the exception to that rule.

This was my first experience and it was lively and amazing! The performance, the atmosphere, the drinks, the service was wonderful. This was definitely one of the highlights during my trip in NOLA. If you need bills exchanged for ones to tip the performers, they will come around and help you with that. The drag queens performed twice and there were 3. They each did an amazing job! The food was very good as well! Service is pretty quick despite it being a full house. I would definitely recommend, just don’t forget to book a reservation.

The Country Club is a unique spot where locals can enjoy an upscale dining experience or a totally casual and relaxing experience out back around the heated pool. Dress sharp or bring your swimwear and towels. The staff are very nice and attentive and the food and drinks are delicious.

Very nice style. Not as pretentious as the name or photos imply. Great people, great food, a bit pricey. I am definitely going back for the pool.

Nice intimate staycation resort setting with NOLA charm/style. Food/drinks are pricey yet delicious. Limited lounge chairs but additional sitting away from the pool area. Service good Suggestions include: better music selection and outdoor fans. Overall cool and laid back vibes. Will visit again.

My group went for the Drag Brunch for a bachelorette party and it was a 10 out of 10 experience!! Nothing could have made this better. When the uber was dropping us off here (we're not from NOLA), I was a little nervous with the area because it seemed to be in the middle of nowhere and there was graffiti all around but then you see the Country Club building and it was BEAUTIFUL. Water coolers were outside for anyone waiting for their brunch session to begin. There was a security person out front waiting to check people in and check IDs. There was another person offering to give singles for whatever bill of your choice. The MC of the event made sure to try to make everyone feel included... they would go around from room to room and talk to the brides/birthday people there and give them attention which is nice! They took our groom on a stick and incorporated him on the cart that went from room to room. The Queens would go from room to room so it gave you time to eat while you know they were in another room. You'd just hear screaming and then know a new person must have come out. I believe there were 3 queens and they each did 3 songs/outfit changes. The food was AMAZING and totally affordable! We had to give a $25 deposit/per person and it was applied to the bill which made all the extra champagne we kept ordering seem less expensive when we got the final bill! This was a brunch but also an experience!! The servers did a great job working around the show and getting to everyone. As soon as we stepped into the country club, we felt like we were in a new world - the staff treated us so well, everyone seemed happy to be there, the actual restaurant was beautiful... with wallpaper, paintings, and chandeliers - we are still talking about our experience there!!

We really enjoyed dining here! Gives lowkey Commander’s Palace vibes. The art painted on the walls was absolutely gorgeous. Will definitely be back. Now to the food: the crab beignets, caprese pasta, and basque cheesecake were all amazing, 5/5. The brussel sprouts did not have enough lemon or Parmesan, you should ask for extra, 3/5. The crab curry bisque was very bland, 1.5/5.

We went to the Drag Brunch and oh what a fun time it was! The queens were great and so much fun. The food was delicious, everyone at the table loved everything they ordered. And being alcohol free the Crescent 9 THC Seltzer was amazing! 10/10

This place is underrated!... The cocktails are well made, and in the right amount of sugar and alcohol; the food is delicious, service is superb! The dining and bar area have a super cool atmosphere; and the pool, sauna, and hot tube in the patio are very nice! I totally recommend this place for a short vacation-like experience, right in a nice neighborhood in NOLA! PS: do not miss to try the Paris breast dessert!, it is wonderful! (See picture)

Went on a Thursday. Great diverse music selection. Good spaces to work and relax. Drinks were great. I had the cauliflower and the beef sausage. Both great options.

Had such higher hopes. LOVE the pool and environment but as for the food- subpar at best. The only things that are truly good are the chicken sandwich and fries. The brussels are basic. The fried green tomatoes are too thick and undercooked. The crabmeat beignets were decent. The truffle mac was a no. The sticky cauliflower wings are interesting and the sauce is good.

This place was truly magical! An experience unlike any brunch I've ever been to. Some of the food is exceptional. Some is just good, but the overall experience is wonderful! I would highly recommend the crab cakes and the mac and cheese in the starters. The chicken and waffles leaves something to be desired, the chicken is very very thin so it's a little tough for my taste, and the short ribs and eggs was actually steak and eggs. My friend ordered it waiting for that fall apart. Goodness, but then just kind of left the meat and ate the eggs and gravy which were absolutely delicious. The bloody Marys are solid as are the other cocktails we had! The service was top notch and the show was so much fun! They also go around to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries to make your day a little extra special.

At 61 I was definitely the oldest person here, but that didn't stop my wife and I from having a great afternoon lounging by the back yard pool. This is a uniquely NOLA locale with a mix of high energy and layed back "lesse les bon temps roulle" chill. The owner took an old mansion and turned it into a one of a kind destination. Unknown to us until our Uber drive asked - this is a drag show mecca, offering multiple shows a day - book early if you are interested, they sell out fast. As I said, we spent a great afternoon by the pool drinking Memosas and Campari sodas (with the prerequisite bloody thrown in for good measure of course). They pour a good drink (ask for a double) and the food is quite good for what it is - the boudin balls are stand out. Try this place if you want to escape the city for a while. Located in the Bywater district

I went to drag brunch on a trip where I went to a few of these. I absolutely loved the fancy gay atmosphere. The paintings on the wall made my partner and I smile. It was quite the disappointment to find out after we had to make a reservation far in advance that we couldn't use the pool. Also, the food that we both got was pretty mid... the drinks were spectacular and we were pleased they had so many nonalcoholic options. The drag performances were fine, but I guess I expected more and it felt like yet another moment where they were asking for me to spend even more money. The service was fine. They rarely acknowledged us, probably bc they were so busy and the supervisor was running around looking like she was stressing. I was happy to find a queer country club and support that! Hopefully my review will help it to be all it can be.

First time here. The building is absolutely beautiful! All of the walls are handpainted and they have unique art everywhere. The service was really nice. I did try and look at the pool to see if I wanted to pay $20 to go swimming and the bouncer would not let me. All I could do was look through the window which only gives you a tiny glimpse of the pool so I'm not really sure if that was going to be worth it or not. I chose not to swim...thanks to the bouncer on that one. As far as the food and drink goes, the presentation was really nice and it looked delicious. It was good, but it was not the best I've ever had. 1-10 it was a 7. Based on the atmosphere alone, I would definitely go back and get into the pool area #1, and #2, I would probably try something else to eat and drink for another chance. 😉

Bert and his staff were just over the top amazing. Our waiter was absolutely on point with describing the dishes and drinks. The outside pool and patio is a definitely must to visit. So bring swimsuits and towels so that you can eat and drink pool side.

We have gone several times to the Country Club of New Orleans for the Drag brunch because it is always a fun time with friends. On this visit there was a new entertainer added to the lineup and she was fantastic as are all the other entertainers. Keep in mind this isn't a Las Vegas show but the entertainers are definitely talented!! The food is pretty good but we go for the entertainment with a group of friends primarily. The service is uniquely different due to the kitchen and wait staff having to attempt to get everyone's order's and drinks at the tables in between performers and fun so expect delays a bit but we have noticed the wait staff really put forth thier best efforts despite the obstacles. We got our drinks right away but because the waiter takes orders for appetizers and entrees all at once for his/her entire section things tend to come out depending on which end of his/her section they started at! However the entertainers keep you busy so it isn't that big of a deal. We didn't care for the Bellini's too much but the Mimosas were okay. We enjoyed the Boudin Bullets as an appetizer and the Salmon dish was very good! The desserts were decadent and good! Definitely would recommend this establishment!! An open mind and determination to laugh and have a great time is all you should bring with you -- No Negativity at all occurred while we were there just lots of fun, which is refreshing now a days!

An all-around awesome one-of-a-kind brunch experience. Poached egg crab cake in a tomato butter sauce with a side of goat cheese grits - all delicious. All the talented and beautiful Queens performed their hearts out and the host was hilarious. I really hope they kept their blue suede shoes dry in the rain on their bicycle ride home.

Honestly I was not as impressed as I had hoped to be. The food was okay, and the server's know that they're getting 20% so they really did the bare minimum our group felt. It is absolutely gorgeous inside and the security at the front was so fun! We went for drag brunch and the queen's were phenomenal 😊

Friends invited me to join them and the place felt very upscale with beautiful walls, lovely tables, bar and more. The pool and jacuzzi outside looked great too. I thought the food would be a little more exciting and although it tasted good, I had higher expectations due to the way everything else looked and felt.

This was my first visit and the perfect place to celebrate a July birthday. Service was exceptional and atmosphere welcoming. Our group of 4 shared a number of delicious dishes truffle mac & gouda cheese, fried green tomatoes, mussels, caprese pasta, crispy brussels sprouts, black angus hamburger with home fries. All (with the exception of the mussels) were delicious and cooked perfectly. Some of us couldn't resist selections from the specialty drinks listed. By the empty glasses I assume they were satisfying. They assisted us with presenting our birthday cupcakes. Note, the cupcakes were purchased from an outside source and picked-up by a guest. The Country Club was gracious enough to store until time. Loved The CC. Huge shoutout to our server, Lily ---who was the BEST ---THANK YOU!
