The trail to get to the beach is about 0.75 miles long, with some up-and-mostly-down travel, but it is so worth it! We came at low tide to check out the many tidepools, and were not disappointed! The afternoon fog is kinda spooky, but makes the experience even better when the sun comes back out!

We spent the day visiting all the beaches down the coastline, and this was our favorite. It had a little bit of everything you wanted to see on the coast, wildlife, tide pools, beautiful rock formations, and pristine views. Don't miss this beach if you're exploring the Olympic coast!

Really stunning place! Short hike to the beach with tide pools and stunning rock formations! It was cold and rainy when we went but that kind of added to the appeal.

Absolutely gorgeous. The short hike just adds to the experience and makes the views do much better. The water was cold but the fact that you can camp and spend a lot of time there was amazing.

Another epic trip out to Second Beach for an overnight. Bring a permit - and camp out for amazing views of night sky and Milky Way. If you are lucky - may see bioluminescence in the summer - and we even caught a meteor shower. Just amazing! Reasonable hike in, plenty of space to camp.

It's a moderate hiking, but at the end of the road, you will see an amazing view. The water is cold, but at the same time, the sand is much 🔥.

Amazing. This might be the prettiest spot we explored in our Olympic National Forest trip. Try to visit at low tide, exploring the rock formations and tide pools and seeing the starfish and other creatures that cling to the rocks. Make your way south (left) as far as you can go. You will soon find yourself alone and enjoying some incredible scenery.

Trail is uphill for forst bit, then flat, then down a ton of stairs, can be tough on the knees. Sunset shoots were gold here, tried for sunrise got grey blank skies. Bathroom and garbage at trailhead, supplies 2 mins down the road at la push lonesome creek store. Overflow parking available. Says no pets at trailhead, ppl took dogs anyways. Many ppl camp overnight at the beach, parking can be hard to find.

For me personally the most beautiful beach in La Push. You have to walk about 0.8 miles down, but it's definitely worth it because even the way there is beautiful. On the wide sandy beach there are great rock formations and many more sea creatures to marvel at that live on, on or under the stones. Insider tip!
