Free admission! Great food! Fresh french fries! Adult beverages, can sodas, tater tots, burgers, corn dogs, chicken nuggets, hot dogs, and more! For a clean tabletop, each table gets a new disposable plastic table cover. Quiet and peaceful for a great stroll. Follows CDC and local guidelines. This place offers events and private parties. My recommendation is come hungry and try the old-town maze. Major credit cards are accepted along with cash. There is also live music some days. Only 3min from HWY 290. Others have talked a lot about this place and they are all correct. The owner is amazing, the admission is free, the staff are friendly and welcoming and the place is really cool. I am just going to note a few things you should know: 1 - The food is good - greasy but good 2 - 1/4 lb is enough! Stop second guessing, its enough 3 - Expect nails and supervise kids - This place is homemade and not safe enough to let young kids run free. NO ONE is going to tell you NOT to walk on that "iffy" looking structure; Safety is up to you. 4 - The "church' is awesome but sometimes in use by private party's. 5 - Check the website for events 6 - If you are stopping by for the afternoon, expect an hour or two if you want to see it all and do the maze. Thank you George for creating such a unique place to spend time with family picturing what the 'west' looked like! It may not be tomorrow land, but you created something that will stay with us for a long time! Please don't stop building.

So the ghost town is referring to deserted, not haunted, just for clarification. Typically they offer free admission on weekends that they're not doing events (which is rare) and it's a self paced walk on your own. There's no tour guide, but the owner does walk around and he's super friendly, and there's a place to eat/drink and it's pretty good pricing. You can get 2 burgers 2 fries/tots, 2 soft drinks for $16 and it's grilled outside. I'd recommend if you're looking for something to do just sucks that Texas is so hot during the summer. A lot of the buildings you can walk into and check things out, some are just an outside shell for safety, but overall I really enjoyed it.

My son and I took a trip out to this place on a whim this Saturday evening. The location has a ton of small places to explore and see. Somebody had hired the big main hall for a Christmas party, and were kind enough to let us take a peek inside. All the people we met there were really nice. We walked around the site, took some photos and then finished off the day at the main saloon. We both had burgers and fries (which were really good). Admission is free, and it's impressive that the place was mostly constructed by a singular person. Well worth a visit.

Stopped here on a road trip and let me tell you it was totally worth it. There is no admission, our burgers were very tasty along with our cold beers. The owner and staff are super nice and full of information. If you're a WD universe fan, season 5 of Fear WD was filmed here. My spouse and I kind of recreated that scene for giggles. I suggest anyone in the area stop by for some great food, atmosphere and photo opportunities. Also, the whole place can be rented out for parties. Literally, had multiple buildings that had bars and dining areas in them.

This is definitely a hidden gem just outside of Austin. It's a must visit for all. No cost to get in and they do serve food and drinks. Please make sure you check their website to see what days they are open to the general public.

Super cool and unique place to explore, take pictures, and play. And there's NO ADMISSION! There is a cute small restaurant on the property. They serve a selection of beers (that you can take around with you), sodas, water, Gatorade to drink. Simple eats menu with hamburgers, hot dogs, & chicken fingers. Great place to be silly and play make believe. The maze was a big hit. Thank you for providing a fun couple hours for my kids and me!

Such a cute place to stop. The entry was free. There is a fun (but old and partially collapsing) mine maze. Replicas of different shops and professions. Definitely worth a stop and look around.

Awesome ghost Town! They have Halloween ghost Town during October and I plan to come back when my boys are a little older, support by giving tips and buying at the restaurant here! Thank you George for your generosity on building this place and allowing free entrance!
