Very nice museum with plenty of old household and farm equipment. Lots of buildings to sheck out and there is a small pond with fish you can feed. The man at the counter was very nice. The museum is free to tour. There is a donation box there which I made a donation in. They have a water wheel which you can observe turning some equipment inside the building through the use of leather belts. This place is well worth a visit.

This is a treasure. I have lived here for years and just went this past weekend. What an amazing place. Great thanks to the Parott family (sp?) For providing such an historical treasure for free. A great place for all ages. The general store had old time, candies toys and beautiful items of all supports. Come see it. There is so much to see, one visit is not enough.

What an incredible little museum right here in town! There's lots of old buildings to check out, and lots of history to be learned. Great place for a field trip or home school outing since it's free entry! There is a donation box available that really helps them be able to maintain it, please consider giving something to help. I took my parents on 4th of July, and it was perfect weather & though there was quite a few people there at the time, there was so many different places to look at, we didn’t feel rushed at all! We took our time & enjoyed everything they have in all the buildings. Really enjoyed the model train they have set up to replicate Lindale in the 1920’s! Lots of old tractors & antique farming items. Very nicely set up to view it all, took us about 1.5 hrs to look through everything, but of course I’m sure you could do it quicker or slower if you choose! The gift shop was setup really cute. They had cool affordable drinks & some “vintage” candy that’ll take you back a few years & allow you to share some stories with the younger visitors you have with you! Incredible staff that is super friendly & knowledgeable! Would definitely visit again!

I've driven by the Old Mil Pond Museum over and over and finally stopped. If you haven't been... Go. The gentleman at the desk has an interesting story for you. Stop and say hi. Antique farm equipment, musical instruments, trucks, etc. An historic walk through the woods and great photo opportunities. Save an afternoon and go unwind. Don't miss the turtles and fish.

This is a wonderful place to explore items from the past. Old engines, farm and mill equipment, personal items and much more. There were few people at the museum when we visited so there was plenty of space to look around. There are both indoor and outdoor areas. A small store with souvenirs, drinks and snacks is onsite as well. The employees were extremely friendly and happy to answer any questions we had.

Exceptional Museum! Be ready to spend some time. It takes you back to a time when life was a little more simpler. Will definitely be back!
