Loved the informational tour on Howl-o-ween! Our guide Jamie was awesome! The animals are so healthy and happy looking! They all seem very content. It was a pleasure to visit. I've known about this place for years, and have never been. I'll definitely be back!!

Had family in town from Florida so I wanted to find something nearby for all of us to do and that's when I found the Animal Park at the Conservators Center. They offer several different style of tours depending on the year and the particular day we went was one of their winter events. The staff and tour guides are absolutely fantastic and the experience you'll find here is unlike anything I have ever experienced before. To get a chance to see these amazing animals up close was one of the greatest experiences I've ever had. If you live in the area, driving through, or looking for an amazingly unique experience with Lions, Tigers, Wolves, the rare New Guinea singing dog, and so many more, I highly recommend visiting!

WOW!! We cannot recommend this enough. Don’t hesitate, just book a tour! We had an AMAZING time on our guided tour, which I highly recommend as you learn a lot about the animals. Don’t let the chain link fences turn you off - you will see within 2 seconds of being there just how much the keepers and tour guides LOVE the animals and it is so sweet how the animals love them back. They get so excited to see the tour guide coming near their habitat and they are so interactive. Our tour guide knew how to speak to each animal, doing impressive animal calls, and getting the animals to “speak” back. It was so cool! From the wolves howling, to the lions roaring and literally shaking the ground, to all the other incredibly unique animals like BABY TIGERS and all kinds of other cat and dog species, plus rainforest animals we have never even heard of….it was just an experience to remember and we will definitely be back and bring all our friends!

The variety of food and drink was well thought out. Great selection. Overall very relaxing and enjoyable evening, can't wait till next year. Thank you!

Awesome experience. Took my 5 1/2 yr old grandson to see the big cats. The tour guide was knowledgeable and spent a lot of time with us (2 hrs). Definitely a place to visit if your children love animals!

Sean our tour guide was absolutely amazing! The staff all seem to genuinely care about all the animals. Went today and spent quite a few hundred in the gift shop to help support. The only slight issue that I have is that in a way I wish they had more space. Even so, I think this facility is absolutely amazing & please visit. They all seem and look well taken care of. I think the animals are in good hands. I will be back

I love this place! I came for a tour 11 years ago and then became a volunteer. Everyone's focus is on the well-being, physically and mentally, of the residents in our care. We pull together as a team when needed and then celebrate together as family. And when Pacino Lion gazes directly into your eyes, the enchantment takes hold! Conveniently located for a day trip between the Triangle of Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill and the Triad of Greensboro, High Point, Winston-Salem, the Animal Park, while not a zoo, is a 503(c)3 non-profit committed to education and conservation of key species such as lions, tigers, and bear-cats (Oh, my!) Family friendly, It's a great learning place for children and kids of all ages!

My daughter and I had a wonderful tour with Shri! He is so knowledgeable and clearly cares deeply for the animals he cares for here. There are so many different animals and enclosures to visit during the walking tour. We got experience the Wolfpack howling together, and a the lion prides roaring - really spectacular! Loved seeing the animals interacting with each other and the visitors. Quite a lovely way to spend the afternoon, we can’t wait to go back again soon.

If you haven't been, you are missing out. These people genuinely love the animals they care for and you can tell the animals are healthy, happy and well loved. They go above and beyond to keep the animals and humans safe. It's truly impressive.

Very well cared for and extremely organized Park. Staff are super friendly and make themselves available to answer all questions guests may have. All animals that I have observed in the Park seem happy, healthy and very active. I am so blessed to have such an amazing Park like this so close to my home. I have been to quite a few events at this Park, and will definitely be returning for more. To the Park Owners & Staff, Job well done!!!

We have a ton of pets at our house, from guinea pigs to chickens, and everything in-between! We've been members of the Asheboro Zoo for as long as I can remember. We've fostered animals dogs and even caught and found homes for feral cats. By every measure of the words, we are animal lovers! With that said the folks at this park are animal lovers on another level! The care and consideration for the animals there is touching. Some volunteers have been there for over 20 years! They give every part of themselves to the animals and it shows. They are engaging with visitors, answering questions, showing patience and educating people. They do it all while showing the genuine care for the animals there. You can't help but feel the connection with the animals too. And what can I say about the animals. They are simply amazing. The personalities are always on show and it didn't matter that it was 30 degrees out! If you're looking to learn about exotic animals and have a casual, relaxing afternoon, do yourself and the other animal lovers in your family a favor and stop by. You won't regret it! And you might just be touched enough to help and adopt an animal yourself!!!

I've been on the tours before, but never twilight tours. So far, my favorite. The animals are so active and you can tell how much these animals are loved. These types of places are always hit by bad stigmas of wild animals should be in the wild. But all of these animals have their own unique stories of how they came to be with the park. And like I said before, you can tell they are well loved and well taken care of. My next trip hopefully will be to do the photo package tour. And hopefully to be able to volunteer one day.

Loved seeing the lions & tigers especially, in a smaller & intimate setting. Diane our guide knew each of the animals very well, describing their journeys & their personalities. Highly recommend this tour for a unique & interesting way to spend the afternoon.

The tour was so amazing and so informative. Our tour guide, Shawn, was fun and full of knowledge on all of the animals that you see at the park. We learned a lot and are so glad we booked a tour. My children ages 10, 6, and 3 all said they wanted to go back!

Our tour guide Megan was fantastic, super friendly and knowledgeable! You’re really able to get close up views of the animals, much more so than your average zoo.

Cathy and Megan were our wonderful guides for the photo safari. It was a super-terrific experience that I will never forget. Our guides oofed the lions (made a specific sound lions make) and they oofed back! Our guides showed us how to take pictures of the animals without getting the fence in the photo. What a great experience! Seeing these beautiful animals safely was a highlight of my life!

Very educational tour, and great experience for the cost! The proceeds from each tour go toward conservation efforts and caring for the animals! Excellent day outing, and worth the drive!

What an amazing 🤩 evening with the mostly rescued wild animals . Howling with the wolves and roaring with the Tiger 🐅 cubs and Lions 🦁 and watching them cuddling around and playing like pups was simply delightful. Heart warming stories by Kim and the other volunteers makes one marvel at the wonderful work done here

What a GREAT experience! We took the Twilight Tour. The cost of the tickets were very reasonable for the length of the tour and our guide was SUPER knowledgeable and encouraged questions. This is an amazing experience for children and adults. We highly recommend!

We did the afternoon tour on September 24th and LOVED it! The highlight was when the tour guide made the lions roar! — So amazing!! Such beautiful animals and I’m thankful to be able to share this experience with my family.

Wendy was our tour guide and she was the best! You can really tell everyone who works here cares deeply for the animals. It's really incredible getting to be so close to these magnificent creatures. Can't wait to go back!

This place was a pleasant surprise. As a person who deeply cares about animal rights and welfare, I always get a bit on my guard when I see facilities with wild animals, mainly because I know some places don't properly care for these animals as they should. With Animal Park at the Conservators Center, that is far from the case. The staff and volunteers evidently care very deeply for the animals in their care and take interacting with them seriously and with the proper amount of awareness and caution. Even though it's never easy to see wild animals in penned areas, unfortunately with climate change and humans overusing natural resources and exploiting these animals, a lot of wild animals get displaced. This makes me grateful places like the Animal Park exist to provide them a home. The animals have a pretty fair amount of space and are given enrichment and company as appropriate. With the park serving to educate the public, the volunteers and staff are open about how they operate and care for the animals and how the animals came into their care; so feel free to ask questions during the tour. It's worth the time and money. Plus, the animals are breathtaking and a reminder that we need to protect our planet at all costs to save these animals from extinction. They deserve to share this Earth with us, and this Earth wouldn't be as beautiful without them.

If i could give more stars, I would. Our tour guide, Kevin, was amazing!! He is very knowledgeable. This was educational as well. To learn the new information and actually hear a lions social roar up close......just wow!! This was an amazing experience even my teens enjoyed it(they don't like walking lol). I will definitely visit and support this center again. They are doing wonderful work.

What a great place to tour. We had a lot of fun, they had many different animals, and the ticket prices were more than reasonable which helps support their operations anyhow. My favorite animal was probably the arctic fox, Casper, he was so adorable (his picture is attached). The guide, who was a volunteer, was very knowledgeable and you could tell she loved it there.

Our family visited for the first time last weekend & this is truly a special place. We made reservations for a public tour that ended up being just our family & a fantastic guide, Terri. The staff & volunteers are truly incredible, and the animals are nothing short of amazing. Do you know what sound lions makes in the wild? Ever been face to face with a bearcat? Want to meet the cutest skunk, named Channel? Highly recommend a trip to the Animal Park at the Conservators Center. Thanks to Terri for such a special visit!

We had a fantastic experience! I love animals as does my husband, and we were very satisfied with how the animals were taken care of and loved. It was wondery being able to see them, especially since it was easy to see how happy they were. I've been to zoos and conservation centers across the country, and this one would definitely make my top 5. It's a must for animals lovers!

We went on the Twilight Tour and it was outstanding! We saw almost all of the animals on the tour. Sean was a knowledgeable and entertaining tour guide. He encouraged us to ask questions and was attentive to the tour group’s needs. Our group was small enough that it was easy for everyone to keep up and interact. I booked the tour because I was most interested in the wolves, and Sean led us in a howl with the wolves. He also got the lions to roar/“uff,” which was very impressive. The smaller cats, many of which I had not heard of, were very interesting too. I also enjoyed seeing the dingoes and the New Guinea singing dogs. I will definitely be back for another tour!
