I
travel
as
a
hobby—I've
stayed
in
nearly
30
different
hotels,
B&Bs,
and
rental
rooms
in
the
last
year
alone,
both
on
road
trips
in
the
States
and
on
vacations
abroad—and
Velvet
Sheep
Farms
is
one
of
the
best
experiences
I
have
had.
The
rooms
were
clean
and
comfortable,
with
all
the
amenities
one
could
ask
for.
The
bathroom
especially
was
wonderful;
many
places
tend
to
skimp
when
it
comes
to
baths
or
showers,
but
the
one
in
the
Olive
Suite
that
I
stayed
in
was
phenomenal.
Meanwhile,
the
property
itself
is
a
working
farm
with
sheep
and
goats
on
the
premises.
While
the
sheep
were
typical,
surly
farm
animals
that
I
found
were
best
enjoyed
from
afar,
the
goats
were
very
social
and
immediately
tried
to
run
up
to
me
when
I
approached
their
pen.
Adding
to
it,
a
young
kid
had
just
been
born
a
few
days
before
my
arrival,
and
it
was
a
cute
addition
to
the
herd.
But
it
was
my
hosts
who
really
took
the
experience
above
and
beyond.
They
were
friendly,
casual,
and
full
of
information
both
about
local
history
and
what
to
do
in
the
area.
My
dinner
was
a
wonderful
experience
thanks
to
their
advice
on
places
to
eat
in
nearby
Sheboygan,
while
the
breakfast
they
served
was
expansive
AND
delicious.
On
top
of
all
of
that,
my
host
also
asked
if
I
wanted
some
pictures
with
the
aforementioned
baby
goat
and
retrieved
it
for
me,
letting
me
take
a
few
photos
cradling
it
as
a
memento.
All
in
all,
I
cannot
recommend
staying
here
enough!
It
was
an
amazing
experience
helped
along
by
amazing
people.
They
also
sell
yarn
and
a
few
other
items
made
from
the
wool
of
their
own
sheep,
which
is
perfect
as
either
a
memento
of
your
trip
or
as
a
souvenir
to
bring
home
for
friends
and
family.
