This lake is beautiful. There are many trails to walk around the lake at the state park. You can rent pontoons and fishing boats at several locations around the lake. There are many rental cabins to stay in. You can also rent kayaks, canoes and paddle boats at the state park. I have seen Musky, perch,snapping turtles, gobies, carp and much other wildlife in the water and over by the dam. I have also seen American redstarts, eagles and green herons there. The ludington state park is attached.

Very nice lake! I would recommend exploring the dunes for a nice experience! There are boat rentals throughout Ludington which are all very great for Hamlin Lake! Perfect place to bring the kids or the boys!

This is a HUGE lake, and a great place for bass fishing. We also saw pike in the water (but didn't catch any pike). The water was really clean. There’s a public boat launch and public dock. I highly recommend visiting Hamlin Lake :)
