I hesitated to leave a well deserved six star BEST REVIEW for strictly selfish reasons ..namely to avoid a stampede for booking before we can get back again...and then..again... first the Robinsons, Teresa and Bill...the real deal..genuine , accommodating, and authentic Downeast hospitality at it's very best taking pride in the heritage that is the one and only ..Robinsons Cottages. Second..the absolute peace and tranquility imbedded in this very special place. Loose the cell phones, fireworks, and tv ...rejuvenation guaranteed. Third...the Best drinking water in the known galaxy. Fourth...the exquisitely crafted cabin fireplaces built by Bill's Dad are a sight to behold.. highly functional stone sculptures by a Master craftsman whose work can't possibly be duplicated in this day and age.. THANK YOU Teresa And Bill for having us and our beloved Fursons for the Best ever escape ...we'll be back unless and until my birth certificate expires. Wendy,Mark, and the Newfs..Liam and Bunny

This was our second year staying in cabin five for a downeast, three generation family vacation. Seven of us enjoyed a relaxing five night stay. The cabin was clean, roomy and well stocked with all the kitchen gadgets we needed to prepare family meals. When we first arrived we noted a few things we needed (paper towels and a pot scrubber, extra rolls of toilet paper) and Teresa brought them right over. If you have a large party and plan to stay awhile you should expect to provide some of your own paper products. We went through a lot and did need to go out and buy some to supplement what was provided. Outdoor temperatures varied widely during our stay but we stayed comfortable on cool evenings with a crackling fire, cool with fans during the warmer days, and cozy on cool mornings with the monitor heater. The cabin also has a giant wood stove which looks like it would heat nicely during colder months. There are so many beautiful coastal locations to visit nearby. My brother lives in Perry so we spent some time there. Sipp Bay preserve is a must see natural location. Go at low tide for fun tide pool exploring. Gleason cove is another nearby location for tide pooling and a salt water swim. There's also paddling on the river or pond and fishing and swimming and outdoor games like horse shoes and badminton. All the other five star reviews have it right...quaint, rustic, quiet and relaxing in a beautiful natural area.

As always, a wonderful stay. From the only sound you hear at night being the bullfrogs, along with the daytime enjoyment we have on the grounds itself, to the close proximity of multiple, on the ocean beaches and parks with hiking trails, Robinson's cottages, has everything my family enjoys.

Beautiful! Right on the lake. Everything was supplied in the cottages that we would want or need. Full kitchens were very convenient. A lot of amenities as well :)

This cabin was perfect for our needs. The fireplace was amazing. The sure size and warmth was exactly what we needed. And endless firewood was provided. This is a wonderful rustic cabin in a quiet amazing location. And dog friendly. Would totally stay here again

Cabin 3 is the quintessential north woods cabin and loaded with nostalgia. Being right on the pond was amazing. It is certainly rustic, but that's the way we like it. The wood pile and fireplace were wonderful for the rainy day we had. If we were ever make it back to Maine (from Wisconsin) we would book here again.

The campsite at Robinson’s Cottages is an absolute gem! It’s sequestered - plenty of privacy (bring your instruments and sing your heart out!), fire pit, firewood, picnic table, Adirondack chairs, clothesline, a great set up for hammocks, a private, sparking clean portable restroom…A volleyball + badminton setup and lawn are basically just for you - plus canoes and kayaks and life vests to borrow? AND right on the Sunrise Trail? 10/10. We were literally high-fiving ourselves all weekend for landing such a sweet site for the Labor Day holiday. Also, Bill Robinson is the loveliest human being. The land and cottages have been in his family for generations, and the pride shows. He was so hospitable and generous - we just can’t say enough. Thank you Bill and Teresa! Hansom House jam sessions forever! We’ll be back!
