Really beautiful area. Just don't expect to go swimming. Great picture spot. Amazing views. Bummed it was foggy I. The distance couldn't capture the mountains in the ocean.

We didn't go into the visitor's center. We hoped for decent restrooms but there were only dirty porta-potties. Nice picnic area. Children's play area was dingy; not very welcoming. A fresh coat of paint would be helpful. Beach was nearly deserted. The beach was littered with lovely, rounded stones, and the incoming waves were spectacular. The sand was soft for sitting and taking in the view. Handicapped parking was available with an asphalt trail to picnic tables but not to the beach.

Very friendly staff! Only port a potties but they were clean. Great parking & beach access. I went for the map & explanation for finding the glass floats April 2023... 1 month-1 mile-1000 floats. Perfect is all I can say! Found the 2 floats my husband and I could take home but enjoyed hunting & leaving behind the others. Found eight in total. What a blast. Then enjoyed Gold Beach - good town, good dinner - fun sealions!

Easy walk to the beach. You might find agates, if not there was an eccentric guy selling them in the parking lot. The bathrooms were closed for maybe renovations, but they had some porta potties set up. Colorful little lizard was trying to get some shade.

Easy access from the 101, good parking and quick access to a beautiful beach. The sand is super unique to this part of the coast and due to its greyish appearance it absorbs the sun more than maybe other sand so it is warm when it is cold out but sometimes too warm.

Beautiful location direct at the beach! Very nice staff! They gave me great recommendations and also two plastic bottles and a backpack for free. Thank you!

Building is a bit worn and the restrooms are closed (porta potties available) but inside is nice. Hosts are helpful and there is a lot of travel information available for here and other coastal areas. A swing set and picnic tables are available. Easy parking although the entrance could be tricky with a large rig, steep downhill entrance. Fairly easy walk to the beach. Some deep sand if that gives you trouble. Wide beautiful super clean beach right here in town!
