Such a lovely time here for a quick getaway. My wife and I loved laying back and taking in the sunset and the amazing views The Retreat has to offer. The Sturgeon restaurant was phenomenal, and I was able to walk down the hill to pick it up. We will definitely be back to try another one of their unique stays!

Booked a room here for my husband's birthday and we had such a great time. The amenities were amazing. The view from our room over the lake was exceptional. It was close enough to the town to enjoy and fast enough to be secluded in your own world. I highly recommend this for any getaway. We will definitely be back to visit again!!

Gorgeous set up for such a romantic get away. So many stars to look at. We even got to see a shooting star while we were lounging in the hammock! Several deer also grazed right beside our balcony. All the small touches The Retreat put into the space really took it from wonderful to excellent. I had already recommended the spot to several family members before we even left

What a cool concept and a luxurious relaxing stay! We stayed at the Eagles Nest (each room here is unique) for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful room, every creature comfort, and the lovely outdoor soaking tub. It was a way to enjoy the outdoor space and gorgeous views and have indoor plumbing and a good hot shower at the same time. The property manager, Veronica, was so helpful: she was genuine and personable, and made herself available and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend The Retreat for a relaxing romantic getaway!

Coming to the The Retreat on the Hill was exactly what I needed! I was able to completely disconnect, rest, and enjoy the beauty and scenery surrounding us. We stayed in The Twins and my friend and I had our own little private rooms. The property manager met us upon arrival and gave us the “lay of the land.” Because it was colder, she also provided us with extra blankets. She warned us that it was going to be very windy and indeed it was! However, I didn’t mind it as I was safe and warm! The complimentary snacks (chips, wine) were an added bonus! I will definitely be back!

We had a lovely weekend staying in The Twins tents. They were nice and cozy below 40 degrees overnight, with a comfortable bed, heater, and quilts. The site itself has great views and stargazing. There are also several good restaurants within an easy walk. Overall an excellent place to spend the weekend.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at the Eagle’s Nest! The decor and location were perfect. I loved the tent themed room, I felt like I was on a safari. The large tub on the deck was a huge bonus. It was so relaxing soaking in a hot bath while watching the stars. We really enjoyed using the projector also. There are 3-4 restaurants within a short 5 min walk from the property. We also walked down to the lake, which was another short 5-10 min walk. The manager recommended checking out the Marble Falls Trail of Lights and I’m so glad she did! It was a 10 min drive from the property and totally worth the trip! We really enjoyed all of the goodies we were given upon check in. It made us feel very valued as guests. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we hope to be back soon! FYI one recommendation I would make would be to allow more bonfires on the property. This may be due to the burn ban but we were really looking forward to using the fire pit on the deck that we saw in pictures. However, we were told by the manager that it was a decoration piece only. Considering how cold it was last night (40’s) it would have been perfect if we could have had a small fire outside. Other than that, our stay was perfect!

This trip was our first to The Retreat but it will definitely not be our last. This place is a great getaway from the everyday hustle and bustle especially if you’re located in a big city. There are all the common conveniences close by even though the suites are tucked into their own private area. The Retreat is quiet, clean, and has fantastic views.

We LOVED the tipi's. We ran into the owner on the way in, and she was so nice and knew who we were and all details of our stay. We were greeted by staff and shown to our room. I love how all the units are individually fenced/gated for privacy and security. The rooms were amazing! So much attention to detail. From the robes, bath bombs, snacks, waters in the fridge, phone chargers on each night stand and more. We also enjoyed the Alexa in the room for music, as well as the games and question cards for couples. Ample parking, too! The property was beautiful and so serene and we loved the string lights at night. We watched the sunset on the hills where they had benches. Everything was so clean and it was the most romantic weekend! We'd 100% recommend staying here and we can't wait to come back.

My hubby and I wanted a weekend getaway and The Retreat On The Hill was perfect for this occasion. The view is breathtaking over looking the countryside and the amenities are great here at the retreat. There's no concern for not being secure because each room has lock and key/gate.. Even the Tipis where we stayed!! We will definitely be back to stay in the other rooms.

I booked a one night stay at the Birds Nest for my boyfriends birthday and he absolutely loved it, so did I. We came from Austin and the drive there was even beautiful! The service was amazing as well, they walked us to our room and showed us the private bathroom and gave us our keys. They also provided a complimentary wine bottle and a basket of snacks provided in our booking!! Don’t get me started on the views… they were AMAZING!! We were able to watch the sunset and the sun rise. On top of the birds nest we laid in the tent all night just stargazing it was amazing. They also have markers at the bottom of the birds nest for you to write something special. I will also like to give a thanks to Veronica for the nice margaritas upon arrival. If you’re looking for a nice getaway spot to relax with your partner the retreat on the hill is perfect. My boyfriend and I will definitely be coming back. Thank you for a special night.

We had a fantastic anniversary trip. It was secluded and a perfect place for hubby and I to spend some quality time together. The scenery was gorgeous and the accommodations were awesome. We can’t wait to come back!

10/10 recommend!! Celebrated our one year anniversary and loved the little get away. The Stardom suite was so comfy and had everything needed. Mini fridge, Microwave, coffee maker, snacks, a bottle of wine, games and more. I will definitely be coming back and recommending this place to all! I LOVED my stay!

This retreat was everything we hoped for and more! On our trip across country, we planned a night here to relax and feel pampered while reconnecting with nature and being away from the cities. Our dogs felt right at home in the curves beautiful container space. There were board games, a nice size fridge with water, coffee, and all the amenities we could need. Even during the peak of summer, we felt cool and at ease inside. The sunset over the lake was everything!! Our first glancing experience has set the bar very high!

My husband and I are so happy we came to celebrate our wedding anniversary here. The place exceeded our expectations and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room is very cozy and clean. The view is amazing and it’s nice disconnecting from the busy life in the city. We’ll definitely be returning soon.

This whole experience was beyond phenomenal. I brought my boyfriend here just to get away for a night and it was amazing. We played games and used the couples questions cards and just bonded on a completely different level. The environment was stunning !! The hammocks, the bay view, the bay view restaurant (which is a 3 minute walk) was amazing. I’d recommend this to EVERYONE !! The stars are so easy to see at night, the outdoor tub was so insanely relaxing, and the room came with a fire stick operated projector ! How cool is that ?!? Truly was an experience I’ll never forget. Thank you for having this space for us to relax !

Phenomenal retreat, what an escape from every day stresses! Stunning views. Right next door to a wonderful restaurant (Bay View). Property manager was super accomodating. The little touches to make our stay comfortable were super thoughtful. Champagne for my boyfriend birthday, free mug to keep, snacks and more. Nice touches with led candles, nice Alexa player. Thank you so much! We will be back for another special occassion.

I stayed at the Eagle’s nest for one night to celebrate my upcoming birthday. The views were absolutely stunning and it was completely serene. A wonderful staff member met me as soon as I parked to direct me to where I needed to be and show me around. The property itself was well taken care of and had lots of lights and places to relax. There are lockable gates to each unit so it’s very secure. The patio area has an outdoor shower and tub, plenty of seating, and a fully enclosed bathroom with a shower, sink, and toilet. It was 103 degrees during the day so it really didn’t cool down until about 10pm but there were fans and an ac. I am not an outdoor person so I wanted to do something outdoorsy with a side of glam and this was perfect. I would definitely recommend staying here whether you are an avid outdoor person or just trying it out for the first time. -Sidenote: with being in nature comes…well nature. I did see a bobcat walking around and heard it for a bit after it disappeared. The wind kicked up pretty heavily and being a light sleeper it woke me up just hearing the tarp flailing around. This has nothing to do with the property itself just a reminder that even with the elegance you are still outside or more less.

Great experience and super unique accommodations. We stayed in the tipis for one night and it was perfect. Our room was plenty cool in the evening with the air conditioning. The view was incredible, the little thoughtful touches were well thought out, and dinner at Bay View Restaurant (walking distance) was delicious!

Beautiful property. We can see a large portion of the Colorado river from our room. Good service. The owner and host are amenable to change and special requests. Mediocre facility. The facilities does not have the quality touch to it. The AC is old and the shower has more hot water than cold. But I’m glad there’s ac and shower during camping. Overall it’s a good place to get away.
