a review from @amom2kidsandapark Want to fly like a butterfly, jump like a kangaroo, and float like an otter in a (ball filled) pool? Then Swings and Wings is the place to be! As an OT and mom Sadiya and her team have built such a wonderful well thought out space for kids of all levels and needs. The building is separated into five sections, each with its special purpose. Front and center are the swings! With six different swings plus a hanging rope ladder, kids can soar high and have fun. There are swings for babies and big kids as well as a platform swing for multi kid fun! In this area you’ll also find the ball pit, the play structure (with slide, ladder, climbing wall, and underneath play space. The second play area is focused more on fine motor skills and art. Here there are puzzles, books, swivel pods and kid size tables plus the painting easel for creative fun! The third play area is the sensory room- a dim lit space with soft cuddly blankets and stuffed animals, and a rocking chair. It’s the perfect quiet space to calm down and take a break. In the back is the fourth space, the jumping room. It has a huge bounce house. What more can I say?! ((Also Sadiya thoughtfully found a way to make the blowing fan less noisy! 💯💯) The fifth space is a creative area with a play kitchen, duplo blocks, and a train table (with pre placed tracks. Omg this is so smart I always spend forever making a track just to have brother play with it for like 1 min) For snack time, there is space for storing and prepping food (nut free facility), a vending machine, and tables. Around the play areas are super comfy couches. There are bathrooms with stool and toilet insert. Trampoline grade socks required (can be purchased for $2.50). masks required $15 for first child. $12.50 for siblings. Two adults free with child admission. Available for parties Facility also hosts day camps and preschool. Full sanitation measures in place (including cleaning every hole in the lego table🙌🏼) This play place is a must go! 🤩

This place is perfect! My cousin and I recently celebrated our children’s 1st, 2nd, and 3rd birthdays here and everything about our experience was just perfect. The staff helped decorate, allowed us to choose the genre of music for the space, and they helped us clean up. Our kids had a blast! It’s also very comfortable for adults. I was about 35 weeks pregnant, and could not move around as quickly as my 2-year old. There are very comfortable sofas that I was able to rest on, while I could still monitor our children. There’s something for every child. Quiet children can enjoy the low sensory, dark-lit room and read. My son delighted in creating a painting (we were able to easily wash it out of his clothes), large legos, and of course, the cool swings and ball pit. The owner is so charming and helpful. She truly made us feel welcomed and accommodated! I’d give this place 10 stars if I could.

Swings and Wings! They've thought of everything! A safe, CLEAN, well thought out place for children to learn and play. It's one of my new favorite play places, the floors and walls are padded, there are sitting areas, a vending machine, a chill room, a bounce house, an art room, play kitchen area, ball pit... I mean the list goes on. There was plenty of parking when we visited. I took my one year old, but I could have easily taken my 4 year old who would have also played happily for several hours. A great addition to East Bay!!! Looking forward to visiting again.

We had a fabulous time. Very kind staff and a fun and safe facility with stations spread out to prevent crowding.

I’ve had plenty of encounters with swings and wings as my son LOVES it there. I first discovered this indoor play business when I was looking for places to have his second birthday party. Which we did book and the girls there helping us were amazing but the most recent encounter was yesterday. I told my sister to take my son out to his favorite place and so she did. Upon arriving she discovered that the preschool was occurring. She got there around 1:15pm and they told her that at 1:30pm she was able to come in. Which she was perfectly fine with. She waited in the lobby and what surprised me the most was the way they treated her. They told her that she was not allowed to wait in the lobby and that she needed to leave and wait outside. To me that is ridiculous … when I’ve gone to other places like Gymboree they’ve treated her and my son so well as they allowed them to wait in the lobby while it was their turn. Instead at swings and wings they made my sister and a 2 year old wait in the car until they were “allowed” to go in. I’m so saddened and disappointed by the treatment because I specifically sent my sister there so they could purchase the 10 day passes and continue to have a safe place. The times before this were wonderful and I’ve always recommended them to all my family and friends but I’m not sure sure about the treatment anymore. I told my sister to leave and I could find my son another play place but he was already excited to be there and she didn’t want to take that away from him. Note: the person who was setting the rules was the supervisor training the new hire on May 18th, 2023.

We just had our son’s first birthday party at Swings and Wings and we could not have had a more positive experience. Booking the venue was a breeze through their website. The owner is very responsive to emails and the staff are warm and welcoming. For a spot dedicated to children the space is CLEAN which I appreciate so much because we held a party during Covid. The space is just so warm and fun for little children. There’s something for every child to enjoy. Whether it’s the various swings or a quiet cozy room to get away from all the noise. We can’t wait to go back!

We had so much fun at Swings and Wings and the woman who helped us was so accommodating and friendly! My daughter is almost 3 and she loved swinging on all the different swing options (car, horse, padded platform, etc.) and they fit her really well. There's also a little kitchen set to play with and a train table, a climbing structure and slide, AND a bounce house in the back! It's pretty amazing! It was hard for Lucy to climb the little wall to the slide in the bounce house, and adults can't go in to help, so she got a bit frustrated, but I think if we went back with a friend she would have enjoyed just bouncing and maybe they could have helped each other. Overall, we loved it! I already made a reservation for my daughter, her nanny, and a friend to go back. Also, it's very clean and it was a great option especially on a rainy or cold day when it's tough to be outside.

Can’t believe it was our first time here but my 2 kids and I finally visited Swings and Wings in Alameda, a multi-sensory play place offering a warm and fun atmosphere for children 18 mo-8 years (and their caretakers). The cost is approx $17 (with sibling discounts available) for an entire DAY of play! They also offer camps, classes date night drop-offs, party hosting and a preschool. There is a designated kitchen for enjoying snacks from their health-conscious vending machine—or your own brought from home. Lots of comfortable sitting spots (including a luxury massage chair) for the caretakers. The staff are warm, welcoming and attentive and make you feel right at home. It is clear that cleanliness and safety are a top priority here. Parents and caretakers, check out this local Bay Area gem! My kids had a hard time leaving even after 3.5 hours of play. We live in the Concord area but would happily drive to Alameda for this place. Great fun and great value!
