Edit: I would like to state that the owners has now called my family member to tell us that they will be suing me for my review. Not sure why I was reached out to.

This is more than a dessert place! Yes, it has desserts, but it also has lunch/dinner dishes that are authentic Hong Kong Tea-Restaurant style. The oven-baked Portugese chicken has a hearty portion, but it took a little bit to come out. The stir-fried beef spaghetti was great and it came out quickly. The wall has 3 TV showing what I believed is recent street scenes from Hong Kong. I recognized and walked some of those streets myself! Compared to Tea Top and Meet Fresh next door, this place is rather empty. But, I think it deserved much more businesses!

I totally freaked out (with joy) when I came here. There are three asian dessert places all right next to each other, and I love asian desserts. Things like this are hard to find in Boston. My family chose to go to this one, and it was awesome. I ordered the brown sugar boba shaved ice, and my brother ordered the strawberry smoothie with boba. They were both excellent. My only complaint would be that there weren’t enough toppings on the shaved ice (even though it looks like it, but the bottom was all shaved ice). It was a little pricey (both together were $24), but in my opinion, worth it as a once in a while occurrence. Another complaint would be that the facility was really cold, but it was also hot outside so I understand that. It was just too cold for my family. Other than that, the service was awesome and the two people behind the counter were very nice. I would come again.

The beef chow fun w/egg sauce was excellent - soft extra wide noodles, tender beef, tasty sauce, huge portion. Fried tofu has a soft inside & not too crunchy outside. Fried calamari thick strips was great. The pomelo mango fleecy drink was fruity & refreshing. Definitely will return to try out other dishes.

Thought we'd try this other Asian Dessert place at Peachtree Pavilion. This one has Pomelo flavor, which others may not. We enjoyed our mango pomelo fleecy and fusion bowl! Funny that you speak through a microphone to talk to the cashier on the other side of the glass, and then they broadcast your order is ready over a very loud speaker, even when you're there in the afternoon and there's hardly anyone else!

Great dessert spot! I didn’t try any food, just the ice cream with the egg bubble waffle. The ice cream and waffle were really good, but I thought the topping options I picked didn’t go that well with the ice cream. I ordered pistachio and coconut ice cream and both were delicious. I would probably skip some toppings next time since they somewhat overpower the taste of the ice cream. The serving size was also really big so it’s best to share!

HOLY BAZINGA. Highly recommend the HK style french toast w/ peanut butter, fried fish balls and radish in HK curry sauce, and the Cantonese style beef chow fun. All were amazing 🤤🍆💦 #mouthgasm

the food is excellent, the HK style bubble waffle is outstanding, and the red bean tong sui reminded me the taste of homemade tong Sui.

TL;DR - I recently visited Sweet Spot, located in the H Mart Shopping Center, and I have mixed feelings about my experience. Overall, I would give the restaurant 3 out of 5 stars. One of my favorite dishes was the Cantonese Style Golden Fried Calamari. The calamari was cooked to perfection, not feeling greasy at all, and the squid needed to be chewy. The Hong Kong Milk Tea was also a nice touch, but the flavor could have been stronger than I remember from my time in Hong Kong. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also enjoyable. The TV was showing Hong Kong street scenes, and it brought back a lot of memories for me. I can see myself returning to Sweet Spot for more of these memories in the future. The service at Sweet Spot is different from other restaurants. You order at the counter and seat yourself. The ordering process can be hard to hear the cashier as the sound comes out of a microphone and can sound mechanical from the reverb. When your order is ready, they call your number, and you can get your water, napkins/utensils, and to-go bowls and caps from the side area. The food options were fantastic. There are plenty of apps and entrees to choose from, such as classic, curry, and cheesy bake. I highly recommend sharing multiple items with friends. I recommend this place, especially when you have a large group of people where you all can order a dish and share. One dish that I had mixed feelings about was the Seafood in Cheesy Creamy Sauce with Spaghetti. It is a big dish and gets cheesy at the very end. I was overwhelmed by the cheesy flavor at the end and didn't finish it. I had to take it to go. It will be a perfect portion if you share the dish with a friend.

Comfort food. The beef chow fun was great. And fried tofu was hot and crispy. The pork chop rice was good but I am used to a fried pork chop! Portions are large. The iced lemon tea is a favourite too.

It's a cafe, it's a restaurant, no a dessert place. It could be ANYTHING u like! They have fried rice and chow fun, to egg waffle and cripy tofu bites, to ice cream bowl and boba! Place is nice because it's quiet, it could get busy at night tho. If u come here to study, best if u sit on along the wall seat bcs they have plugs. Other than that u have bar stools with a table. Food came pretty quick, they have all the to-go stuff ready on the corner if u can't finish ur food which is very efficient. This place hits all the sweet spot ❤️

Super looking forward to trying more items from here. But first time there wanted something sweet. Freaking delicious. My bf and I went and bought 2 ice cream bowls with the bubble waffle. Yummy. Wish it had more ice cream. We took it home because we live like a mile away. The picture doesn't do it justice. Im giving a 4 star at the moment, gotta try some more stuff.

What a sin! The most unpalatable restaurant with the lowest value for money. It’s just garbage made according to the old American taste. Isn’t the black pepper beef fillet spaghetti just a proper black pepper beef fillet lo mein? You’d really vomit after eating it if you weren’t easy to cheat. If you are an American, please make a detour for their curry chicken baked rice. The chicken breast tastes like Xingzhou fried rice noodles. The taste of an American takeaway restaurant is the authentic Chinese food. The taste is lightning protection.
