I don’t know how this restaurant is rated so nicely but definitely not our opinion. Food didn’t taste fresh. Slices of bread were extremely dry. The veggies given as a side came from a cane or frozen package. Menu has only a few danish options. The dessert tasted nice. I would recommend to only try the danish pancakes. No options for vegan!

Appetite struck while strolling through Solvang. Decided on Solvang Restaurant. There was a wait but seated fairly quickly. Once we were seated, we started off with mimosas, served in individual mini champagne bottles and delicious orange juice. It was brunch. So we got the sausage platter and the Danish Dip (French dip). The food was flavorsome. The Sausage platter gave us a variety of flavors (the red cabbage was delicious) and the sandwich filled the belly. The ambience and service of the restaurant overall was very attentive and welcoming, definitely recommend coming here. Also don't forget your Æbleskiver.

We had a huge party of 12 which they accommodated within 15 minutes, thankful for that! Food was okay, service was fine. Certainly on trend with the theme of Solvang. Minimal gluten free options, hubs loved the Reuben!

From the moment we stepped in we were greeted with a smile, seated quickly, drinks arrived, and our food came out before a quick trip to the restroom. What amazing service! Huge portions and great food. The turkey cranberry sandwich was enormous. Definitely will be back next time we're in the area.

I was impressed with the friendliness and service. The food was good too! reasonably priced. The Ableskever are a must try. Good Sausage and the sauerkraut was some of the best I had. I ate here twice. Loved the dinner vibes too. Would 100% return

It was my first time to taste some Danish cuisine! Amazing vibes here. One of the oldest restaurants since 1652. I had the Avocado & Tomato sandwich, Chicken & Swiss sandwich and last but not the least their must have “Æbleskiver with Raspberry Jam & Powdered Sugar” was extremely delicious!

You have wait for a long to get into the restaurant, but the food was really yumm.. great service and economical as well. The aebleskiver with raspberry jam was sumptuous. Excellent food.
