I stopped in today after running out of thread. I didn’t want to drive all the way to Bangor. So, on the advice of a friend, I found this little place. It had everything I needed for a reasonable price. She said that she could order things if I wasn’t able to find them. She also has things I’ve never seen before. Like a lot of crafters, I’m self teaching. I asked her advice on tracing button holes. She gave me a few different options. She also told me how it use to be done a long time ago. They used tracing paper under patterns! That was interesting. And easier! Anyhow, she also told me that she will be organizing a beginner sewing class. So definitely stop in. Save some gas money. And time.

I saw this store on my favorite television show, Sewin Thyme at 4am. If Grammie Donna and Miss Diane love it, so should you! it's a quilters paradise!!!

BOLT is an extraordinary little quilt shop, run by a very nice gal, Patty Rowley. We'd just moved to Maine and happened upon her shop while visiting downtown Cornish. She'd just received a new shipment and that darling fabric launched my Maine quilting experience. A few weeks later, my project required more fabric, so I called and asked Patty if she could send another yard. She was just headed for the post office and gladly mailed it right away - so thoughtful. BOLT is a fabriholic's dream-come-true!

Cute shop with quality fabrics. It also has a selection of patterns and books. Nice place off the beaten path. Worth a stop if you are in the area.

Lovely store. A nice selection of wonderful fabric and even some interesting patterns. I lucked up with a nice wrap skirt pattern and jacket pattern with perfect fabric. I loved this store.

Tiny shop but we'll stocked with beautiful fabric. Very basic notions but growing. Fun to shop there.
