I am the coordinator of a dog meetup group in Upstate South Carolina. I heard about this place through a friend and decided our group should go check it out because they allow on-leash dogs. This is a family owned operation. Day passes are $5 (children under 2 are free), Annual passes are $40 or $90 for a family. The trail has a creek running through it. They DO allow the dogs to play in the creek! There are also farm animals on site that you can visit, with permission. Upon entering, you’ll sign in at the sharecropper house, which is also dog-friendly and houses snacks + souvenirs. If you’re looking for a peaceful place to escape the hustle & bustle of every day life, this place is where it’s at!

I took my 7-and-under kids here to enjoy the Valentine's day "Cupid hike" they advertised on Kidding Around Greenville. What an awesome place!!! The staff were super friendly, and knowledgeable about the history of the farm. My kids enjoyed asking questions and getting to explore the shop, nature room, and of course the grounds. Admission was reasonable. They do have snacks, but it's not enough to make a meal. Also reasonably priced. We did the nature walk first and there was so much to explore! I really don't want to spoil the surprises, but be open to finding the puns hiding in the trees! Also why I didn't post many pictures. It was really fun to discover things as we walked, and even my lou, sensory kid enjoyed moments of tranquility. Definitely wear some sturdy shoes, but hiking boots are not necessary. We after there had been a lot of rain, so the ground was a bit soft in some areas. We also got to feed the animals! It was such a lovely day that I am looking forward to visiting again!

First trip and had a great time! Our kids loved being outside and seeing the seasonal decorations. The highlight for them was playing in the creek. The trails are well maintained, decorations are cute, and the staff were friendly. Would recommend and will go again!

We went for the first time today and had the most magical experience, my 3 year old was so entertained by all of the little decorations and games he walked the whole mile on his own. We played in the creek for about 45 minutes and the best part it wasn't over ran by people it was so peaceful and serine. The couple who owns this land and farm are both so charming and welcoming. I hope this remains a hidden gem 💎.

I took my After School Program Class on Silva Terra's Halloween trails (10/17/22). We had a blast. The kids loved the interactive games, Halloween decorations, and fun facts along the way. It was a good way to get out in nature and have some kid-friendly Halloween fun. I highly recommend this place. All my students want to return for another of their themed hikes. Thank you Silva Terra!

Night hike to see fireflies and visited their small farm/ museum. Not the best for seniors with limited night vision or balance difficulties. Otherwise an easy walk with low hills Need reservations.

Highly recommend, little bit of fun for everyone! Absolutely enjoyed the Christmas themed trail adventure, definitely that little different magic of the season we was searching for...side note parents with sensory children...a five star...there is water fyi but kid friendly and parent friendly, can also choose to walk away from that area of the trail and still have fun. We will be for many more memories...🤗🌎❤️

Such an incredible place! The owners are amazing! Animals, nature, history, trails, and a creek! What a gem! I want to share this place with so many, but at the same time... It's nice that's it's not over populated. Would like to keep it to myself! 😉This place is great and unique! You won't be disappointed at all. Check them out!

I took my kids (7,8, and 10 years old) on the Halloween trail and we thought it was super cute. It’s a beautiful trail with a stream. The animals looked healthy and well loved. It was a perfect daytime adventure. I highly recommend it!

My child's favorite place! Always lots of fun activities on the trails for all ages, but my child likes the creek most and just exploring nature. She loves being able to feed the same animals each time. The old sharecropper house is an experience too.
