Came for a family dinner with a large party,we had a reservation and were seated right away. Loved all the classic Pennsylvania dishes on the menu, like perogies and ham balls. We skipped on an appetizer and ate the wonderful bread with apple butter! Food came out fast! Even with a large group. Everything was hot and fresh. I ordered the roast beef with mashed potatoes and corn. It came with stuffing which was, to me the star of the dish! Others in the group ordered the steak salad and the open face turkey sandwich. Everyone loved their meals! Restaurant was clean, a little cluttered with country decor but that's just my personal preference. I ordered Shoe Fly Pie to go! Very happy!

Update April 2023: We were here again. Great food, decent service. Kids meals are great and price is 3.99 for kids meals (breakfast at least). I had farmers wife meal this time very good. I haven't even had the donut yet but it looks amazing. Eggs, bacon, yummy pancakes. Good spot here! Very good food here. We had breakfast. Now evidently on Sat they run out of donuts early...as our meals were to include donuts but they had none. They offered whooping instead which was nice. We haven't tried those yet. Rachel and Veronica (our main waitress) were both very nice and came around to refill coffee. Food was good prices were reasonable. I had the working man with corned beef hash (haven't had in years) but it was good. Biscuits were good. Nice store nextdoor and nice outside area. The manager that was there at the time was nice (I forget her name).

Best Reuben EVER! And the fried mushrooms have a great batter. They are huge, juicy deliciousness. Don't forget the pie. I had to get a whole one to go. Kudos to our waitress Courtney.

Such a nice place, the people there are super friendly and their home cooked food is excellent! We enjoyed the chicken pot pie, the meatloaf, the fresh homemade bread and noodles. They also have a bakery and large gift shop.

The PA Dutch Cordon Blue has been a favorite for years but the price jump was a bit of a shock yesterday. We did again enjoy the outdoor seating surrounded by all the great landscaping. Friendly staff, busy establishment.

I’d really like to recognize Kylee for making Our Lunch So special, You really made the experience so memorable with your spectacular service and Being so friendly and attentive, You really are exceptional, We came in from Lancaster and have A lot of “similar” Restaurants in style and structure, But Nothing with anywhere near as good in terms of flavor, quantities and Value Like this, Traditions has the best Chicken Corn Rivel soup and Their Roast beef dinner or sandwich is fall apart tender it’s exquisite! I would also like to say the fabulous Manager Terri also stopped by our table for a nice conversation and Also Helped make Our Yearly trip in to Traditions for Lunch So Special for Us, Anyone thinking of going Here, take my advice and Go!!!! Everyone was so kind. The servers were very attentive without being around too much. No drink went dry! The restaurant is clean and very cozy. The food… oh the food! You can tell everything is made from scratch, the grease is clean, the ingredients are fresh and the bread is warm! I was so impressed and If I lived close, I would likely eat here 3-4 times a week!

Really great food wont ever leave hungry, a little on the expensive side. Make sure you try their pies and baked goods never will disappoint. Also take a gander in their gift shop they are known for carhartt brand in there as well they run sales time to time too. They do have the carhartt scrubs in stock. Plus many different work wear and boots.

Good food. Great portion size. Great value. Gift shop is cute. The recipe book is a must have!

Stopped here on a recommendation from the welcome center here in Pennsylvania. Recommended by Cindy. We had lunch at this Traditions restaurant. Our server's name was Brit. She was extremely nice and attentive. The food was really good. Enjoyed it very much. Lovely place. Would definitely come back here again someday.

It's so amazing. If you want the best and freshest food you have ever ate, then I suggest to come here. A lovely setting plus the staff is so friendly and awesome. The bakery is also one of the best.

I went with a group of 12 for a late lunch. Food and service were great. Bakery items were awesome. I had a freshly made glazed donut (unbeknownst to my wife). Really good, so save room for baked goods or at least take something home.
