They always have sold me straight high quality lumber, quality building materials and have always been willing to talk to me about the project I am doing to make sure I have everything I need to do it right the first time. They make it a point to carry products they know they can stand behind, and because of that reasoning I have always been able to do my projects and know I did it right the first time with the right products which will stand up. They have always made it a point to help me when I have a question so I can do the project with confidence and the security of knowing it was done right. Every time you go in there, whether its just for a pound of nails or something more, they always treat you like they are your best friend and you are their most important customer. With such excellent service, I've never wanted to shop anywhere else unless they don't have what I need.

Extremely helpful staff. Quick to answer any questions my family had. They have excellent quality materials, so I don’t have to worry. Very clean environment, it made finding my material extremely easy. Wonderful experience, we will be coming to Tri State Building Center for all of our projects!!!

I purchase from them often. I recently purchased material for a privacy fence. I had ordered the wrong size screws and needed to change it. They were already closed and the owner was willingly to come in and change it out for me. This is why I shop local as much as possible. You can't get this type of help in a big box stores.

Full disclosure: I work for Tri State in the office. But I also bought a house recently which has needed some work. I’m not always the most well versed in what caulk to use (numbers are more my thing) but my coworkers are great at walking me through different projects. From recaulking my bath to picking the best paint for my cupboards. They’ve always given me great advice.
