Love this church! Absolutely beautiful and the atmosphere is so positive. The only complaint I do have to mention which is no fault of the church itself is that there are A LOT of crying babies during Sunday mass. That's already annoying by itself but what makes it worse is that most of the parents don't even bother going outside to calm their crying babies down so the entirety of the mass will be partially interrupted by the annoying crying. Just something to keep in mind. I still come here every Sunday regardless.

Hard to fine a more emblematic, beautiful Catholic church in New Haven. This is the oldest church recently renovated to its amazing original splendor and where the tomb of Blessed Michael McGivney (at the left side just upon entering the Church. The combination of old carved wood and bright large stain glasses makes for an incredibly mystical experience. This is a place no visitor should ever miss

Quiet and relaxing

Getting parking out front can be a hassle if you don't get there early, but at least the pews inside are plentiful. The church itself really is beautiful, and the priests and deacons have given great homilies every time I've gone. Communion was a little confusing during the Plague but they're getting that straightened out.

I was there for the funeral mass of the wonderful, kind and dedicated City of New Haven's Librarian J. Jessen. The chuch is in good shape & well maintained. The mass was perfect. The musical selections were some of my favorites, & performed beautifully. I'm glad I got to share that amazing event with his lovely family. St. Mary's, you did a excellent job for his send off.

Pretty church by American standards and I can tell the clergy have good hearts. I never went as a student because they didn't have the tridentine Mass, I went to St Stan's instead. Now the Dominicans have left and I'll stop by for a rosary/angelus occasionally

Besides the spectacular building the ambience is Graceful. God protect our priests n the church.
