Five Stars all the way! The host is a wonderful and truly special person who will make sure your stay is great. The location is safe and ideal as it's walkable to all types of stores along with easy access to buses and the CTA red line. You can be downtown Chicago in under 30 minutes. The residence is taken care of, clean and secure. On the rare occasion when I saw any housemates everyone was very pleasant. It has everything you need from a full kitchen to laundry. It is very quiet/peaceful and feels like "home". My room was cozy, warm and had an amazingly comfortable bed. I have stayed in a lot of places throughout the country via my travels and this has to be my favorite place by far. You can't beat the value. Go ahead book a room and tell the host you heard great things from Mark.

This place is fantastic when you want A PEACE OF MIND 🙏🏾 I relocated back to Chicago and needed to get SETTLED back in before finding a place. I had a single room that was spacious. In addition, to excellent communication with the host and other guests. Everyone stayed to themselves and was pretty was quiet 🤫 all the time. I stayed for a week. The quality was amazing because if the location. Dunkin Donuts 🍩 , shopping center mall, Burger King 👑 and other stores 🏬 within a few minutes of walking distance, if needed to walk. Having a private room this affordable was amazing🤩 They spend a lot of time, energy, and LOVE in making sure their guests have a quiet 🤫 space to rest. I would definitely recommend Happy Homes 🏡 when you are in immediate need of a place to stay 😉

We had a great experience booking with happy house. We had an issue with our reservation and spoke to Mr. Dee and he was able to help us right away. If you are looking for great customer service you should definitely consider booking a reservation with them.

I spent 5 days here during spring break. I was so happy to stay here because this hostel is always clean, safe, quiet, and cozy. The owner, Jessie, was so friendly and nice. She always welcomes me with her beautiful smile. I arrived here pretty late night, but I could check in smoothly. This hostel equipped everything all you need. (hair dryer, towels, silverware, kitchen, and laundry machine) You do not need to bring your stuff. I just can't believe that I can stay here with cheap price. If you consider that where you have to stay in Chicago, I highly recommend here, "Happy Homes." I will stay again here if I visit Chicago again. Plus) Mark was also friendly and nice. He most helped me stay well here.

It is a great place. I got a problem with my car, so, I was not able to stay in the house. However, they refund me instantly. I thank for their consideration.

My stay was pleasant. Mr. Dee welcomed me very well, and I felt right at home. The house was clean and organized, the area was very peaceful, and I was only a 5-minute walk away from the nearest subway station (Garfield). Furthermore, the owner was extremely kind and helpful. I would definitely stay here again in the future!

This is a very peaceful place. So far my experience had been wonderful. FYI - There's no smoking inside & or partying. I personally love how peaceful it is here. Jesse has a great spirit & is a wonderful person. Definitely recommend!

Visited this place a few weeks ago. Jessie was really helpful but Mr. Dee is easily irritated and is impatient. I did not feel at home and did not feel welcomed with Mr Dee’s attitude. Another downside of this place is that there is no easy check in and check out. You always have to contact either Jessie or Dee to hand over keys and get your deposit back. during checkout and check in. It’s quite inconvenient for those who have schedules. Other than the above issues, facilities were fair but certainly really basic and not exceptional at all. Given the price of the stay, I think it is still a good option for those who have a strict budget.

The place is very clean and convenient for travel and leisure. The host is wonderful.Very friendly and accommodates the renter's needs effectively and promptly. Very likable and gracious. Staying at Happy Home was the result of selling my house while I was looking for an apartment to rent. This the second time I have stayed at this location and if circumstances dictate I would stay in this apartment again.
