In the morning my wife and I decided to Ellen's Danish Pancake House just across the street from the Pea Soup Anderson's Inn where we staying at. It's short walking distances or a quick drive to the restaurant we drove but we learn next It's better walk if your Inn or hotel is just across the street. When arrive the restaurant looks like a house when we went into It's restaurant full of people having breakfast. Then the host took us to table and the menu were on the table. We were looking at the menu to see what looks good then my wife decided to order the Danish Pancake came with egg and hash brown and also she order biscuits and gravy by the side. I order the waffle comes with eggs and bacon. The waitess brought the food looks good I took a bite of my waffle it air, crispy and very good I enjoy it very much and egg and bacon were very good especially the bacon It's long time I have bacon it was so good. My wife enjoy her Danish Pancake she ask the waitess they can put fresh strawberries in the Danish they did. She enjoy very much especially the biscuits and gravy one of her favorite. We need to come back again soon.

A must stop for breakfast in Buellton. We had a delightful meal and our server was so sweet! I ordered the linguica sausage breakfast, and an order of strawberry danish pancakes for the table. There was so much cream on the pancakes we didn’t need syrup. I’m a huge fan of ordering pancakes/waffles for the table, because I prefer a savory breakfast. I usually only want a bite of something sweet. Ellen’s delivered, and they had a local hot sauce (Pepper Plant?) at the table that is truly the best dang hot sauce I’ve ever had. Great spot.

Bring your appetite! Best place for breakfast. Food is made with you, the customer, in mind. All ingredients are fresh and of great quality. The jams and salsas are made from scratch and delicious! The dish presentation is beautiful!

A traditional breakfast diner with checkerboard tablecloths and antiques on the wall. Definitely a feel of being at Grandma's house for breakfast. The food is delicious and the service is fast! I recommend the Danish style pancakes and the omelettes. The place can fill up quickly because it's definitely a hit with the locals.

Very good food. I wish they had latte. They open very early which was very beneficial for us to leave the town early morning

Food was actually very good, though I felt it was a bit pricey for this style of restaurant, it was good quality (and small businesses do have to price accordingly to stay open these days). Stopped in based on reviews, very unassuming place, seemed like a lot of locals. We had the Swedish sausage omelette which was huge and delicious. The hash browns on the side are more like a casserole, very hearty and rich. Also Swedish pancakes, yummy, with what seemed like homemade jams. All in all a good, very filling diner style meal with pleasant service.

This was my first visit to the pa n cake house. The service was fast but felt rushed. The food was good but not over the top. The biskits seemed slightly doughy. I wish the waitres would have mentioned there was specials on the wall that I did not notice until after ordering. All and all an OK experience.

Nice classic diner style atmosphere and service. Server was fantastic. The food was good. I personally got an egg over easy with two danish pancakes. I probably should have gotten the three pancakes and two eggs option. I got the egg over easy and it was good. The pancakes are "danish style" and comes with powdered sugar and butter if you'd like. They also bring out an assortment of jams, and those were delicious. They sell the jams by the jar as well.

Great old-school breakfast spot. Standard stuff was all delicious. Eggs, bacon, pancakes and french toast were solid.

Stopped for breakfast on our way up the coast. What a gem! Cozy and quaint like stepping into grandmas. It's apparent everyone knows what they should be doing and when it should be done. Food was full of flavor, Ellen's special with apple sauce yummy. My mouth is still watering. My son ordered SpongeBob french toast cleaned his plate. Hubby Louisiana hot sausage special, another winner.
