The good: great beach (flat and firm, excellent for walking, even biking), all beaches here are dog beaches, excellent view from higher level balcony, clean rooms and good price. The less good: rooms are small but adequate and as an older condo shows some wear. Overall a reasonable value but not as nice as appears in pictures. Keep in mind that I'm rating just one apartment that was silver rated (all that was available) the gold rated may be better. Think we'll ask to see one before we depart.

Fantastic location is only 20 minutes driving from St. Augustine, beachfront on beautiful Crescent Beach, within walking distance of a few restaurants, ice cream, and convenience store. Plenty of unassigned parking, safe, clean. Elevators on opposite ends of the building for those who have difficulty with stairs. Beachfront pool. We had the pleasure of staying a week at this location after renting from a private owner. It provided us a great location to enjoy beach living but also a hub for all our other travels during the week. The only downside was we had to leave. We wouldn't hesitate to book at this location again in the future.

My family and I love Beacher's Lodge! We love staying annually--it's a tradition we've done for 6+ years I believe. Such a great beach for dogs and kids too. The room is always clean and feels like home. Great price too! Highly, highly recommend.

This place has been great thus far. Cute little condo, perfect for my husband and I that are here in St. Augustine celebrating our birthdays this week! Love it being right here on the beach. The sun rises and sunsets are gorgeous!

Overall a pretty nice stay, the rooms are a little cramped and our room 304 had practically no hot water pressure--as in it dribbled out. Otherwise, we enjoyed ourselves. Would stay here again, but definitely would reserve a room with a king sized bed. I cannot imagine a family staying in one of these units, they are small but not quite cramped. We enjoyed our stay, and the view was priceless.

Room 115 - ick. The shower had no water pressure it was barely trickling out, same with the tub faucet. Walls and baseboards were nasty. 3 remotes for a tv and none of them worked and they were NASTY. EVERYTHING SQUEAKED- the bed the chair the couch even the dining chairs and doors. Suffice to say we left early. Really disappointing.

I booked our November stay at the Beacher’s Lodge back in June. In mid October I received an email stating that they had to change our room because there would be “resurfacing of the walkway” on the 3rd floor. They moved us to another unit on the second floor and called it an “upgrade” because the room was bigger. I had very specifically picked out the original unit (328 - which is gold rated, the nicest rating of all the condos on premises). The unit we were moved to 225 is also gold rated but NEEDS to be re-evaluated! It is barely a silver unit based on their own rating scale. Nothing in the unit has been updated in years. All the furniture is beat up, the bathroom is held together with random nails and caulking, the tvs are so old we couldn’t use our streaming device and the wifi signal barely exists. Not to mention the original unit I booked was definitely occupied!!! I booked and paid for a gold unit because I wanted a nice place to stay for our week long trip. I was VERY DISAPPOINTED in the condition of the unit we were put in.

We got groceries for the week and realized our fridge wasn’t working properly and they had a new one brought in in less than 15 minutes! The beach wasn’t overly crowded. Easy parking access. Close to lots of restaurants and a few beach shops. Would recommend this place!

The room is decent. We’ve always stayed at Beacher’s and this year was just different. To start, they no longer clean rooms while you’re here. You’re on your own for chasing down towels, finding what to do with all of your trash. The room has carpet and it’s not been vacuumed since we got here. The shower will not drain properly, so you’re left standing in dirty water while you’re in the shower. I did tell the front desk we were not happy about our stay. I talked to two different people. They didn’t offer anything. I hate paying this much for such little quality. Housekeeping is nice when you talk to them and need supplies. This is just not what it used to be.

We love this location. We've been coming here for years. Perfect for the two of us. Away enough to relax but an easy drive to the stores and St. Augustine. Smooth, flat beaches. Great pool area. Love the charcoal grills.
