My
wife
and
I
were
traveling
from
northern
Idaho
where
we
live,
to
Nevada
and
California
to
visit
friends
and
family.
We
needed
an
overnight
place
to
stay
and
came
across
the
Sportsman
Lodge.
What
a
find!
We
stayed
in
one
of
the
free
standing
cabins
and
it
was
absolutely
perfect.
Clean,
quiet,
quaint
with
a
kitchen,
bathroom
and
separate
bedroom.
An
inviting
porch
to
sit
out
and
enjoy
the
peace,
quiet
and
amazing
views.
The
owners
Ken
and
Bonnie
make
you
feel
as
though
you
are
family
and
are
at
the
ready
to
help
in
any
way
necessary.
There
is
also
a
restaurant
(The
Hitching
Post)
about
100
yards
from
the
cabin
that
serves
breakfast,
lunch
and
dinner
along
with
a
full
bar
and
a
few
slot
machines.
I
believe
the
restaurant
is
also
owned
by
the
Sportsman
Lodge.
This
convenience
added
to
our
stay.
This
place
is
an
angler
and
hunters
dream.
Nice
rooms,
plenty
of
RV
parking,
and
even
tent
camping
areas.
There
is
a
nice
fire
pit
with
numerous
chairs
around
it
to
sit
and
enjoy
the
evening.
The
archery
range
is
a
nice
touch
as
well.
The
only
issue
we
had
was
in
the
morning
when
we
woke
up
and
realized
we
had
to
leave
and
would
not
be
able
to
enjoy
another
day
at
the
Sportsman
Lodge.
And
BTW,
the
check
in
and
check
out
was
easy,
and
quick.
A
pass
code
is
texted
to
you
along
with
your
room
number
and
you
use
the
code
to
enter
your
room.
Check
out
is
as
simple.
Our
stay
could
not
have
been
nicer
and
we
look
forward
to
a
return
trip
on
our
way
back
home.
Our
thanks
to
Bonnie
and
Ken.
