Shawarma Chef is a must try! The food is so FFD (Flavorful, fresh and delicious)! We ordered the Lamb Rice Bowl and the Chicken Shawarma Plate. They were both amazing! The owner had superb presentation too! 10 out of 10 recommend!

We went to try the food for the first time from Shawarma Chef and the food was above the expectations. So delicious and tasty, clean and warm. The beef / chicken shawarma wraps were amazing. The fries, hummus, fried tortillas pieces will fill you up but you will still want to eat the shawarma wrap. Chef Duraid is such a great person and he really took care of us very well. You'll rarely see people like him cares for their customers and he is one of the few. I will definitely go back to check and try what's new on his menu. I talked to him while he was prepping the food and he also does catering. No think twice, go and try the best Mediterranean food in Portland unless in Oregon.

We used to go to different restaurants; now we go here pretty much every week, both for the amazing food and to see the kind owner. Absolutely delicious! The gentleman who owns it is Iraqi so the food is really quite delicately flavored, very fresh and top quality. I asked for falafel salad with flatbread even though it's not on the menu, he kindly made it for me. The food trucks were not very busy, so he actually waited on our table as though we were in a restaurant. He even brought us some delightfully perfumed delicious tea at the end of our meal at no extra charge. He was absolutely charming and we would not have had a better meal at Chez Nicholas or any Mediterranean restaurant in downtown Portland. This is absolute top quality food. I'm so glad we found this place!
