Pinball is one of the most underestimated sports in the world. When you step to a machine you're at the same moment Goalkeeper, Defender, Midfielder, Striker and the Coach of this team in you. District 82 is one of the best places to improve your pinball game & skills, compare yourself with the best players in the world and, last but not least, just have a lot of intelligent fun in a good and family-friendly environment and community. Play more pinball!

I couldn't love and recommend this place more! Do you like pinball from all different eras? Do you prefer those machines to work perfectly? Do you enjoy being surrounded by fellow pinball nerds and enthusiasts? Then get your butt over to D82 and play some of the best pinball machines in the world with some of the greatest people in the hobby. Seriously though, I fly from NC several times a year to come here to play in Erik's tournaments. No one runs a tighter ship and he and everyone there are incredibly nice. D82 I love you!!!

Open Fridays and Saturdays to the public around September to May. Various tournaments throughout the week. This is a pinball aficionado's place to go. Over 100 pinballs that are all well maintained with care. Private parties available. Set fee for unlimited play. Soda and water available, however you can bring in your own drink. Great for groups and families.

Awesome place to play some pinball whether you are a beginner or long time enthusiast. They got so much variety with a great mix of older tables and new ones. Its hard to pick which machines to go to sometimes. So far I’ve been pretty glued to Doctor Who, Hot Hand, Mata Hari, Godzilla, RoboWars, and a few others. The staff members are all nice from my interactions with them, and the community of regulars seems pretty nice as well. I was shown the main trick to rack up a high score on the DoccyWho one, and am still working on getting the hang of it; so don’t be afraid to ask questions if you have any! You can tell the owner takes great care of his collection, it’s refreshing walking into a place with pinball knowing everything is going to be functioning! There are places to sit spread around, as well as standing tables. Free bottled water, as well as $1 canned soda which is hard to beat these days. You also get a wristband which allows you to go in and out while they are open for the day. This is great for running out to eat lunch, pick up friend or date, or let the pupper dog out. Highly recommend District82 if you’re into pinball or just looking for something to do! Below are pics of Doctor Who, Ghostbusters, and Metallica :)

A true pinball mecca! District 82 has an amazing collection of pinball machines that are meticulously cleaned and maintained. Most games are highly desirable for their rareness, popularity, condition, etc. For these reasons, District 82 attracts some of the world's best pinball players for tournaments (people travel long distances just to visit this place!) but it is very welcoming for players of all skill levels. Just make sure it's open to the public on the day and time before you make the trip.

I have been to District 82 twice so far and had great experiences both times. The selection of games is great and everything is in good condition. I’ve played in the tournaments (I haven’t had much success but I chalk that up to my playing). The decor is fantastic too. I’m looking forward to more visits. I just wished I lived closer.

I ended up going here for D82's Super Series, and it was such a treat! Every pin plays amazing and the tournament was run more efficiently than any tournament I've ever attended. There were food trucks and BYOB. Thanks Erik and team! I'll see you next year for more rare Melody insert combinations like this. 😁

This place is seriously awesome! Everyone who I have brought here has loved it (even if they were skeptical at first). This is a great date night that now my girlfriend has brought up to me on several occasions to go to on Friday nights. There is a mixed atmosphere of relaxed free play, and competitive tournements of skill for those willing to try!

5 stars absolutely. Some caveats...all games are set up as Tournament Play. To the casual and pro players, this is fine..they either won't notice or they expect it. Intermediate style players, as I am, will certainly notice the extreme table tilt and the impossibly conservative (harder to make) settings. Sure, owners say it's FREE PLAY, but the reality is the tables are not much fun to play as set up...even on FREE Play. That's a darn shame as there are so many historic, iconic, and unique tables here. They are meticulously maintained and downright beautiful. The site is really set up for tournaments, so I can understand why tables are not reverted to normal play for the general public as I was on a Saturday visit. My frustration is, after my January 2023 visit from Chicago, I'm not so sure I really want to return.
