I’m a native from Dominican Republic. I’ve lived in Denver for almost a year and have found the options for great Caribbean food very limited. This place is a hidden gem! The food made me feel like I was eating my mother’s home cooking ☺️ I am a fan of this place and will come back to try everything on the menu

@tainos_caribbean is an amazing ghost kitchen in Broomfield. I had run across it a few weeks ago and had really wanted to try it. It’s in a pretty industrial area that was fairly deserted with no large sign so I just went to the only door that looked open. Fortunately they had a small menu in the window to help me identify it. This was my first mofongo so tbf I don’t really have a comparison but this was amazing. Crunchy but soft and savory on the inside. I don’t exactly know what the stewed veggies were but despite being a certified meat eater I didn’t feel like I missed anything. I have had empanadas and arepas before and these were really good. The arepa was a bit unusual to have the protein on top but it was amazing—savory with the familiar lime twang. The mojo pork empanada had a still crunchy pastry despite me driving it home. They had asked and I said it was fine to pack the guava pastry with the empanada. It was a very nice sweet dessert. I had forgotten I wanted to try the Yuca, tostones, and the other entrees so will definitely be back soon.

I wish I could give more stars. Food, service, and price were all excellent. Thank you andy! I lucked into this place after arc and will definitely be coming back. Very little open around here this late... I don't like black beans and theirs were delicious. I'm not sure what I ate but it was phenomenal... Do yourself a favor and set your clock for Thursday when they open and try to get there or have it delivered as many times as you can during your thursday, friday, saturday window of opportunity....

These guys are fantastic, just working that American dream, you know? When my Cuban abuela and mother immigrated here they brought with them the flavors of home. Other than in my own kitchen, and outside of Miami, these guys cook the next best thing. Traditional style, real garlic, onion, peppers, and slow cooked and braised everything. A gem of a find here and I'll be a regular for sure. I hope someday they are up for and can rise to the change and service a sit down experience full time, but for now, takeout on the weekends will have to do!

Taino's is the kitchen and takeout restaurant for authentic Cuban fare up north. It is not a dine-in restaurant. The empanadas were superb and priced right, and the Cuban sandwich was perfect. The chili oil he gave me went well with everything and the dip for the empanadas was great. Both people running the kitchen were pleasant and friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed it all and will be back when the Cuban cravings hit.

My wife says they had excellent Black Beans, they were wonderful. We both fully enjoyed the Cuban. Our friends wanted details on where we got the food as they wanted to go there again. I had my first Empanada, it will not be my last, it blew my mind with a culinary delight. Andy is a joy to be around.

Amazing, authentic, and mouth watering Caribbean food! Tostones are so crisp, moduros have the perfect texture, and tres leches is so light and sweet I went for seconds. You can taste the love and history in all of Andy’s food. 15/10

Found this treasure on our Google map when looking for something entirely different. We shifted gears, placed our order, and after tiny a bit of confusion finding the place, we we rewarded with best damn dinner we have had in some time. The chef/owner welcomed us into the humble spot (no dine-in - just eat it in your car if you can't wait) and had our order ready in minutes. We rushed it home and found abundantly filled containers, fresh, tasty and so FLAVORFUL. (Seriously, the beef though!) We devoured everything and were already talking about getting Taino's again next weekend.

The mojo pork had a great depth of flavor with a really nice moderately spicy kick. The beans were also perfectly seasoned and packed a really nice heat as well. Rice was great. The guava and cheese empanada was very tasty. I’ll be ordering again!

Absolutely the best Cuban food I've had in Colorado - by far. Even dishes which I was on the fence about previously, blew my mind. Definitely order extra rice and beans because they're as much the star as the rest of the food.

The Cuban sandwich - yum!! Loved the accompanying sauces that came with, and the tips vieja was tasty as well. They didn’t have the dulce de leche cake at the time, so will be back to check that out soon!

This was not what I expected! The food was amazing and had some amazing new flavors! I believe the owner was the guy that took our order and he was extremely helpful and friendly. He took the time to explain what he had available and what to expect but he didn’t give himself the credit he deserved as the food turned out to be amazing! This needs more than 5 stars! This is my new favorite!
