We
ordered
a
takeout
Valentine's
Day
dinner
made
by
Chef
Misha.
Walking
in
to
pick
up
our
food,
we
really
were
feeling
like
we
were
missing
out
on
something
special
--
the
Phinix
Lounge
was
beautifully
decorated
with
colored
rose
petals
covering
the
tables,
and
everything
looked
perfect.
Chef
Misha
prepared
us
a
beautiful
3-course
plus
meal:
a
crudite
plate
(olives,
pepperoncini,
red
peppers,
cucumber
and
a
spicy
carrot
salad),
as
well
as
fresh
made
pita
bread,
hummus
and
baba
ganoush,
to
start
things
off.
The
pita
was
as
fresh
as
it
could
be,
and
the
hummus
and
baba
ganoush
were
perfect
--
the
hummus
was
loaded
with
garlic
with
just
the
perfect
amount
of
lemon,
and
the
baba
ganoush
had
a
perfectly
roasted
taste.
The
spicy
carrot
salad
had
a
strong
zing
to
it
but
was
not
over
the
top.
Then
we
dug
into
the
main
course:
baked
salmon
and
chicken
kebabs,
with
garlic
roasted
potato,
Moroccan
rice,
served
with
tkemali
and
tsatsebelli
sauces
(I
had
to
look
both
of
these
up
from
his
menu,
as
the
flavors
were
something
I
could
not
pinpoint
but
fund
absolutely
delicious
--
tkemali
is
a
pickled
Georgian
plum
sauce
that
everyone
needs
to
try,
tsatsebelli
is
a
Georgian
sauce
made
of
tomato
paste,
cilantro,
garlic,
vinegar,
pepper,
khmeli
suneli
(a
traditional
Georgian
spicy
herbs
mixture),
water
and
adjika
chili
paste.
Both
of
these
sauces
were
obviously
made
with
TLC
and
really
added
to
the
food.
Both
the
chicken
and
the
salmon
were
cooked
perfectly.
For
dessert,
he
created
what
he
called
a
fruit
cup,
but
this
was
no
simple
cup
of
fruit:
I
am
doing
my
best
to
describe
it,
but
it
was
more
like
a
freshly
made
cup
of
raspberry
preserves
with
a
strawberry.
I
know
there
was
much
more
to
this
flavor
but
I
cannot
pinpoint
it
other
than
to
say
it
was
amazing.
This
was
not
my
first
time
eating
Chef
Misha's
cooking,
as
I
have
attended
several
of
his
cooking
classes.
A
couple
of
my
favorite
things:
(1)
you
know
every
ingredient
is
always
fresh
and
from
scratch.
(2)
he
is
big
on
making
food
flavorful
but
never
counts
on
salt
or
sugar
to
accomplish
that.
Having
has
some
health
issues
in
the
past
and
not
being
quite
as
thin
as
I
was
in
the
past,
I
find
it
comforting
to
know
I
can
trust
Misha's
cooking
to
be
both
fresh
and
wholesome.
Right
now,
I
am
not
too
eager
to
go
to
restaurants
and
I
am
enjoying
ordering
out,
but
I
am
dying
for
the
day
where
I
can
get
the
full
Chef
Misha
experience
at
the
Phinix
Lounge
in
Lynn!
My
biggest
regret
-
we
were
too
eager
to
start
eating,
and
by
the
time
we
realized
we
hadn't
taken
a
picture,
the
main
course
was
long
gone.
We
still
had
the
rice,
potatoes
and
some
of
the
crudite
(we
also
gobbled
up
the
hummus
and
baba
ganoush
right
away!)
and
managed
to
get
a
photo
of
that.
