National Harbor is a beautiful and lively place with many fun activities, good restaurants, and interesting shops worth checking out. The Potomac River combined with the Capital Wheel make breathtaking views. From sunrise to sunset, the Harbor is simply gorgeous with sunbeams, sunset glow, or night lights. It’s a great place to visit all year long.

We came here during the Christmas holidays, and it felt quite festive with the big Christmas tree and lighting on. The walk was pretty nice, and the ride on the wheel was also enjoyable with a great view of the harbor. There was a public parking building, so parking also wasn’t an issue. Overall, we had a great afternoon walking around the harbor and nearby areas.

One of my favorite locations in Prince George's County, MD! Wonderful place to bring the family during the day or for dinner and an evening out. Make sure you check out the Chesapeake Journey map along with the benches for finding the keys to the map. Enjoy the American Way tour through the many statues at National Harbor. And don't miss checking out The Awakening statue at the waterfront. If it is nice weather you can take a water taxi from National Harbor to Old Town, Alexandria VA. Or even take it up to Georgetown, DC.

Loved the vibe. Highly recommend visiting this place during sunset. Sunset ride and views from the Ferris wheel is something to cherish upon. There usually is a long wait time for boarding. There are some good choices of restaurants including Mexican, Italian, Indian and some good burger joints. There are public movie screenings every Sunday evening at 6. There are some beautiful statues in the area. Casinos, bars make this place even more interesting. The Ferris wheel has a VIP package with photo and drink options in the deck.

Went touristing in Maryland at the National Harbor, a completely new town built about ten years ago. It is like a modern version of a little waterfront town. Lots of things for kids, places to sit, places to eat, live, stay, free megatron showing of the game, and the Capital Wheel (17 bucks for an adult gets you a nice view and ride over the city). #nationalharbor #washington #washingtondc #tourismwashington #capitalwheel

The place with a character. Loved my evening walk to this place especially during times of high holidays. The place is decorated with dazzling Christmas lights and the spirit of the holidays can be felt in the air. Went to the Gaylord hotel to experience the Christmas light show which was ok. Unfortunately all restaurants were full and none were taking reservations. But finally had a fun walk, good food and finally ended my evening.

Stayed at National Harbor Gaylord for a conference. First time here. Variety of restaurants. Very clean area. Felt safe walking around. Took the Water Taxi and rode the Capital Wheel. Spent the first day just walking around taking in the beautiful weather and sites. MGM and outlets close by.

I love this place. We haven't been here in seven years, so we decided to go to DC for my birthday. We stayed at National Harbor again. It's very family friendly. It's nice to see young families and older couples out having a good time. There's things to do and plenty of places to eat, although some are kinda pricey. We will be back:-)

Had an amazing time with my partner on the water taxi going from National Harbor to Alexandria to the Wharf. Highly recommend in the spring especially during cherry blossom season!

This was such a fun day trip to do with friends! The ferris wheel was sooo much fun!!! It was cozy and warm inside and music inside! The views are great! Watching to planes fly over the Potomac and view of the capital. The only thing that would make it better would be a table for a charcuterie board and wine haha and for you to be able to choose your own music. Room enough for 6. Not scary at all. Very comfortable. Sun down you have the sun in your eyes, I would like to go again in the evening! Every one was very friendly and the line kept moving. I thought you go around 3x but it was 5x. I would have been ok with 3 lol The shops are fun. Wish they had more clothing store options. Lots of candy store options oddly enough and we had no problem parking. We did not have time to enjoy the carousel. Lots of statues to take pics with and a huge screen that they were showing the world cup on which was fun to watch! Definitely a great destination and I highly recommend!!!

The decorations were amazing. There were a lot of people out there despite the weather. The wind and temperature had no mercy on us. We went inside the Marriott Gaylord it was decorated beautifully. There was a table tennis tournament going on.

Had the most fun part of my vaca visiting National Harbor. Lovely place to be and spend time with family, friend and lover. You’ll please don’t get the online ticket for the big wheel ride, it’s more expensive compared to getting it at the ticket stand. I spend $88 online for 3 adults but got to the stand it was $15 per adult. Do the maths and save money

Great place to visit —everything you need is in this well development, planned venue. You can eat from Brazilian to multiple American restaurants.

First time here and loved taking 530am walks on the dock. The food is way too expensive, but the vibe at night is 🎯

After several times driving by the Capital Wheel, decided to give the National Harbor a go, and it wasn’t a let down. Beautiful views and plenty of commodities within a short walk. Dozens of restaurants and little shops.

Looking for a wonderful location to share precious experiences with someone special? Go no farther than National Harbor, in Maryland. The place is amazing, plenty of hotels, restaurants and activities for famines. Definitely equal to Pier 39 in San Francisco. Perfect for, couples looking to create memories.

National Harbor is a census-designated place(CDP) in Prince George’s County, Maryland located along the Potomac River near the Woodrow Wilson bridge and just south of Washington. It’s multiuse waterfront development of the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center, Capital wheel, variety of stores & restaurants, MGM resorts and much more. An excellent place to enjoy outdoor activities, walk, food etc.

I recently spent a short holiday here. I like this small and peaceful place very much. It is right by the highway and in a good location. But be aware that there are several highways crossing here, and it is easy to go in the wrong direction if you are unfamiliar. I missed it once.

It is a wonderful place to visit. Buuuut, I would have given 5 if a small portion near the marquee wasn't under construction. Unless there were emergency repairs, you can't schedule repairs during the holidays when folks have come here for the experience they've heard and read about.
