We
stopped
for
a
quick
lunch
at
Wheat’s
Artisan
Bakery
and
Pizzeria
today
on
our
way
back
to
Fort
Worth
from
Amarillo.
It
was
a
great
experience!
The
food
was
delicious.
You
wouldn’t
expect
to
find
a
good
chicken
salad
sandwich
on
a
super
fresh
and
light
crescent
in
a
pizzeria
it
was
a
very
pleasant
surprise.
The
homemade
cookies
were
melt
in
your
mouth
delicious!
I
had
the
peanut
butter
cookie
which
was
extra
large,
soft
and
truly
melted
in
my
mouth.
Although
we
didn’t
order
any
pizza
(a
mistake
I
won’t
make
again)
the
aromas
from
the
showcased
wood
fire
pizza
oven
were
intoxicating.
The
table
beside
ours
was
close
enough
to
view
the
pizzas
they
had
ordered
(and
devoured)
filling
me
with
regret
for
not
opting
for
the
traditional
fair.
The
restaurant
is
spotless
from
the
eating
area
to
the
kitchen
and
restrooms.
The
owner
and
his
staff
are
very
friendly
and
courteous.
I
love
all
the
details
and
thought
put
into
the
refurbished
building.
The
owner
was
more
than
happy
to
share
some
of
his
interesting
experiences
with
the
restoration
of
the
location
from
an
automotive
garage
with
bay
doors
to
a
modern
pizzeria.
You
did
a
great
job!
Kudos
to
the
owners!
I’d
give
you
a
10
star
rating
if
that
was
possible!
