Loved it! Always wanted to go on a lobster boat and this tour did not disappoint. The crew were so friendly and full of information throughout the ride. Would def recommend and was fun being hands on handling the lobsters and crabs and re-stocking the traps with bait.

Went with two friends and we had such a great time! The guys are so knowledgeable and engaging. Learned so much and had so much fun. Didn't go out far enough to trigger my sea sickness thank goodness. A fellow passenger took many fabulous photos for us (and I didn't thank her enough!)

My Husband and I had a fantastic time during the lobster demonstration in Portland. The crew were awesome and friendly. It was a beautiful day on the water. I highly recommend Rocky Bottom Fisheries. We will definitely visit them again !

Went on the sunset cruise and it was amazing! Jimmy and Eliza were an awesome crew. Will definitely be doing it again! Note: I was on the same cruise as the negative review below…she didn’t say her family owns the boat, she said she comes from a family of lobstermen…and she did great!

We did the sunset cruise and had a fantastic experience! Steve and the crew were so much fun and had great knowledge about the surrounding area! Even gave us a small lobster demo! You will not be disappointed in booking any tour with them!

Rocky Bottom Fisheries made our trip to Maine this summer extra special thanks to owner Kate-Lyn and Captain Patrick! This lobster boat tour and demonstration is a must for anyone visiting Portland. Every question was answered whether it was about lobstering or the history of Casco Bay. Participation isn't mandatory but within minutes the energy of the crew had everyone reaching elbow deep into the traps pulling out lobsters and filling bait nets. They were very enthusiastic and made the experience wonderful for the 8 year old and teenager on board during the tour. Do not hesitate for one moment booking your outing, the 90 minutes flew by but the memories and education gained will last a lifetime.

Went on the lobster tour and booze cruise. This was the highlight of our trip! Highly recommend booking both of these experiences. Lobstering was hands on and got to learn some fun facts. Booze cruise you are given blankets and pillows. The crew was amazing, offered to take pictures and even got all the right angles lol. If we ever go back to Portland this will be added to our itinerary again. Thank you again to Pat, Jimmy, and other captains. :) Also can’t forget the sweetest little Skampi!

We loved Rocky Bottom Tours and enjoyed everything we learned from Captain Patrick about lobsters. Big shout out to Captain Russ for keeping us all safe on the boat out on Casco Bay. We highly recommend this tour and the experience out on the water in Portland Maine!
