I am pretty new to film photography but I have been to a couple shops in the area, and while they're all good, this place seems to go above and beyond. They had my (color) film done in a snap, and they were returned to me in sleeves and a canister! The shop also has a wide selection of anything you could possibly need, I will definitely be returning for all my film needs :)

It was a weird energy as soon as I stepped in the building. I usually don’t do reviews but I felt extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome. There was a very helpful older gentleman but the other employees were standoffish. While looking at Tripods by the entrance, one female employee came and closed the security doors and the store wasn’t scheduled to close for another 2 hours. I felt as if she was insinuating I would run away with the tripod, which was foolish because my camera was still sitting on the register counter. She was very unfriendly and eyeballed me the entire time I browsed. Not one to call prejudice but I definitely felt that vibe. Side note ; while getting my haircut, my barber (who is also a cameraman) told me he had a similar experience and he is also of African descent. Idk what you guys have going on but I will review bomb and expose any racist behavior at whatever turn available. Please treat all customers fairly!!! Side note; I ended up buying a LED lite and a $70 tripod but the experience was horrible besides the older gentleman’s vibrant assistance.

I have been asked by the owner to describe my one star. I am 90 miles away and called the day before to locate a NEW mirrorless camera of a certain brand . I had a long conversation about trading in my mirrorless camera for the next model. She was very knowledgeable about the camera. When I got there she handed me a used regular camera. I was stunned. Her comment to me was -I am so out of it today, and walked away. The manager took over and his comment - well human error. I bought a couple of cheap rain covers. There was no gesture of sorry for your time and expense we will discount the sale. It wasn’t expensive and it would have been insignificant. But call it customer service. The next day I drove to Charlotte. I had a great experience at Biggs and Cardinal camera.

I had a last minute need for something out of my typical wheelhouse / camera setup and so I called and explained generally what I needed. Within a few moments they had a plan and a part for me to swing by and grab. Huge relief! A few years earlier I had a similar experience in looking for a travel bag, which is something that has lasted and I still use today. We're lucky to have Southeastern Camera in this town!

These folks are really knowledgeable and their rental service is simple and straightforward, they were invaluable when one of our cameras crapped out part way through a dhoot. If we're ever back in the area I'll definitely be making use of their services again!

My partner and I needed passport photos (US for me and Australia for her). They were fast, professional, and affordable! Also a super cool store with more camera gear than you can shake a lense at.

Excellent service. Very friendly and welcoming. Developed many rolls of film 20+ years old, many different types. Excellent results, so happy I finally brought them in.
