This is the best place to enjoy South East Asian cuisine. The chef is making everything from scratch, and the food is finger licking good, fresh, and tasty. I have worked in the past ~10 years in Singapore, and in my opinion, Uncle's Chin's dishes are exceeding the best culinary standards, in fact, they are even better than the original versions. Everyone must try this amazing place! Home- like atmosphere, very friendly and good people! I can describe it with three words: ' I ♥️ it'

Quaint, humble Eatery with kind and sweet hospitality by all team members. Couple that with the chef cooking every dish that’s ordered. Malaysian comfort food.. Those homesick families who miss the daily ease of finding quick meals with amazing flavors or for those who couldn’t make it to South East Asia to see those countries but heard so much about Malaysia and its diverse cuisine. Visit Uncle Chin’s. Humble menu but each food item is carefully crafted by the chef to maintain the standard and quality you can expect from Uncle Chin’s… Just Malaysian cuisine!!🫶🏽😋🫶🏽😋 The Nasi Lemak is authentic and sticking to its original style.. no fuss or fusion. Also Polar odd the Hainan Chicken Rice. Char Kway Teow is a must try. Got room for dessert? As long as the palm sugar syrup is available, try their Ais Kachang. Patience will pay off…. While your time with a cup of Teh Tarik while you wait on your dishes. It’s worth the wait. The two televisions feature food travel programs that’ll delight you if you are new to Malaysia or warm your heart with nostalgia to Malaysians who are far from their birthplace. The food is just the beginning of your Malaysian adventure.

This is probably the best authentic Malaysian restaurant in Houston. The chicken satay, the Hainan chicken and the ABC dessert is the most authentic dishes that brings back memories of my time in Malaysia when I eat them. The satay and chicken are super moist and full of flavor. The trio of sauces for the chicken just adds to the flavor profile. The chicken curry is also good. The gravy is thicker and would be good to dip into with a roti. The Sambal fish is unique to Malaysia and interesting to try. At the end of your meal the ABC dessert is a must. It shaved iced flavored with evaporated milk, syrup and topped with green jelly, grass jelly, red bean and corn. It’s sounds weird but once you’ve had it you’ll want more. For true Malaysia food come here. I plan on coming back to try the char kuah tiew. Update 1: Ate the Char Kuah Teow and it’s the real deal. Update 2: Came on Sunday for the Bak Kut Teh and it was good. Soup was flavorful.

Another great Malaysian restaurant in Katy, TX that serves juicy and tender Satay chicken! Grilled pork rice that comes with a fried egg is excellent especially the pork chop is honeyed and tender mixed very well with rice. The char koay teow and chicken curry are great too. This is a family run business and very busy during lunch hour, may need a wait to be seated.

This is a lovely place with delicious food, warm inviting service and delicious drinks. There is a note on the door that asks for patience because they are trying to find staff. Believe me everything is worth the wait. The food came out in a reasonable timeframe with freshly prepared food. The specialty drinks took a little longer but that is cause our server made them all by hand. It was fun to watch how she mixed the milk tea. We highly recommended this place to everyone!

Found this place by accident just happened to be in the neighborhood. Seen it and swung in real quick. Got, in before the rush, they have a really good food. Had the chicken fried rice, and the owner had made me a homemade. Sweet-and-sour sauce, which was exceptionally delicious.1 If you just happen to be cruising through the area and a little bit hungry. I suggest stopping and by and give him a try.

Uncle Chin’a Kitchen is one of the best kept secrets in Katy. Its Malaysian food is authentic and most important of all yummy. I went there on Sunday and got to taste the Sunday-only Bak Kut Teh, a kind of herbal soup with pork ribs. The taste was great! Make sure you eat everything and finish the soup, which is the essence of the dish. My only complaint is that the portion is smaller than i thought. I don’t mind paying more for a bigger portion because the soup was just so tasty. I also ordered a special roti mixed with eggs. The roti went really well with the curry. I highly recommend the Hainanese roasted chicken. The skin was crispy while the meat was insanely tender. This dish came with a bowl of chicken rice that had a rich chicken flavor. The waitress (I guess the boss) was super friendly. Best service in Katy

Best Singapore/ Malaysia food in Texas! Definitely taste better than phat eatery. Even the chilli sauce taste authentic. We ordered the roasted chicken rice and hor fan (flat noodles seafood). We did not order teh Tarik (pulled tea) but we smelt the tea when they were pulling it and it smells heavenly! Couldnt have asked for more, maybe except that uncle chin opens another store in Austin !!!

Having Malaysian food for the US for the first time. This place is good if you’re trying Malaysian food for the first time! Ikan bakar, nasi lemak, char kuay teow and cendol were my favorite! Satay was so juicy as well
