Just what I needed. The food and atmosphere reminds of the days my dad would drive all the way to Philly for some good food ! Yams a bit sweet but I like them that way. Out of collards and cabbage but glad I choose the green beans cooked just right with a piece of non pork meat for taste. D

Got food through door dash here. Beware of ordering the iced tea in the bag. The bag leaks. Everywhere. My food was coated with iced tea. Luckily these fine folks use high quality containers that don't allow outside liquids in. I got their chicken wing meal. It was very tasty. very light, crispy batter. The collards and cabbage side orders were excellent. I also got a side of the fried fish, and even being in the door dash vehicle for 10 minutes and with mounds of condensation on the inside of the take out container, the fish still had an good crunch. I can't imagine how crunchy that batter would be if I got it fresh. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for some good food.

First off the food was amazing, I was looking for a great home cooked meal and that’s exactly what they provided! The service was amazing they were polite and quick! And it’s a very family oriented place, you immediately feel the love when you walk in! 10/10 I definitely recommend coming here!

Delicious panko fried jumbo shrimp, fried fish (forgot to ask what kind it was but it sure looks good) immaculately cooked greens that aren't too salty. The Mac and cheese reminds me of holiday cooking with the family. Cornbread mmm mmm mmm!!!! The sweet and sour sauce was great on the shrimp, I need hot sauce for the fish. Extremely friendly people. For yourself a favor and stop in!

This place right here. It's a family owned business the sweetest people, the food is sooooo good definitely cooked with love. The fish and jerk wings are amazing, Mac and cheese is to die for. Banana pudding and pineapple upside down cake was so good.

You don't see the fish because it didn't make it home. Lightly battered golden color and moist. Chicken, well, seasoned mac and cheese could have been blessed with more cheese to get that pull when you eat but flavored well, too.

We ordered 3 different meals and all three were FANTASTIC. Seriously the best soul food I’ve ever had. Real cornbread, amazing fried fish, and wings that fell apart in your mouth. A little pricey, but they give you a ton of food for that price, so it’s definitely still worth it.

One bite and it was heaven. The food the service the atmosphere was just wonderful. Everyone made me feel like I was family. Felt like one of my grandmoms Sunday dinners when i opened the platter. Great place and will visit again!!!!

Best homemade style food in town. Highly recommend the jerk wings, but everything I have tried so far has been 12/10 good. The fried wings/fish/shrimp are full of flavor and don't leave your hands greasy or leave you feeling regretful afterwards.
