A delightful, cozy, British-themed pub with a large menu and beer selection. The food here is seriously good, full of hearty comfort foods like steak & Guinness pie and shepherd's pie. The service is excellent and you feel like you're eating in a friend's home more than a restaurant. The entire menu is excellent, but for a first-time visit, I would recommend the Pub Footballs, a bowl of Chili, and either the Fish & Chips or the Bangers & Mash. Don't overlook the sandwiches or the meat pies, either. Cool: Thursdays are trivia night Bummer: it's easy to run up a steep bill!

Amazing!! Great food, fast, friendly service. Very knowledgeable staff. A great GM. Wonderful menu and well worth the price. The drink menu is great as well as the food menu and it's kind friendly as well.wonderfully neighborhood like pub. The food is as close to authentic Irish fair as possible. They also usually do military discounts except when they have special menus.

Great vibe, cold beer, and of course Guinness in tap. Food was okay along with service. Not sure if I would travel 30 minutes again to eat here, but to have a pint….maybe

Ordered on the phone for pick up, it was ready when they said but after driving five minutes home one plate was cold. I got the Sheppard Pie with veggies and the taste was great but I wish I didn't have to microwave it, atleast it came in a microwaveable container (normally I hate the wasted plastic but this time it was like they knew I'd have to reheat it anyways. Partner got the fish and chips, the chips were stale end of the day fries drenched in oil the fish was nicely deep fried. He ordered a side of coleslaw and he got about an oz. I think I would like to try this place again when dining in is a safer option but I was not impressed with thier take out.

We wondered into Canyon Crown restaurant one day out of curiosity. What a nice find! It Really reminded us of the pub where we had dinner, along the Rhine River in Germany 🇩🇪 The staff is always friendly in the atmosphere definitely feels like an English or German pub. The patrons seem to frequent often, makes me think that it may be the “Cheers” affect for many of them 🤓😋🥸 I’m not a fan of beer, so I usually order a cocktail and it is always perfect 🍸 Order the Guinness pie with mashed potatoes and vegetables. It is authentic and delicious. A perfect comfort food

I really don't know how I feel about this place, just yet. We were literally met at the door at 9:28pm. She stood so she was blocking our party of 2 from entering. She bluntly told us they were closed. Meanwhile, their posted hours are until 10:00. Then she said that we could sit at the bar if we wanted a quick drink. Yikes. The gentleman behind the bar was great. He took good care of us while we each had one beer. It was trivia night. The speakers were so loud with the guy talking that we had to yell to hear each other over his talking. ( I'm a professional gigging musician, and I thought it was too loud) I will try the place again sometime, but never again on a Thursday.

Always a great “taste of the UK” right here in Tucson AZ! The beer is legendary and the fish and chips, bangers and mash, and shepherds pie all fantastic. A great value as well. Pop in for a pint of Guinness and stay for a meal and catch up on sports at the bar. Our bartender, Gabby, was fast and friendly, as was our server, Morgan, when we got to our table. We even saw the amazing Erin, the manager, getting food to her patrons. This is a well run restaurant and i especially like how they support local non profits like More Than a Bed, which help out local foster children and families. Cheers! VictorB Last time we were here: We love this place. What a great “pub” here in the Old Pueblo! Manager Erin is awesome. Great food, great service, and of course....great beer! Love the fish and chips and “Scottish eggs”! VictorB

Michelle is awesome and attentive. The stuffed jalapeños wrapped with bacon were excellent. Chicken skewers with their southwestern. Bourbon sauce was yummy and tender. Drinks and service were fast and efficient. Look forward to coming back once again.

"Oi playa gang back wif anova review mate🥸🤴🏿🇬🇧" Haha🤣👏🏿 but wow this place is SO GOOD it's forcing my British ancestry out! Let me start with the Fish and Chips🐟🍟, this is the BEST in town. The fish and fries are flash fried perfectly and offer the most crispy, fresh and airylicous bite everytime👌🏿👌🏿 the Fried pickles were also dancing on my taste buds with the long cut pickles offering a crisp refreshing bite under hot cute fried batter👏🏿 the servers are nice but the resturant itself is a little bit steamy 🧖🏿‍♂️ I was sweaty after a few bites ( don't worry I took my blood pressure medicine🤣🤝🏿) and the table across was also saying the same so I know it wasn't just me. Over all 9.2/10👍🏿 Canyons Crown, you WILL be seeing this playa again 💪🏿🇬🇧

Really love this place! The food is excellent and pretty authentic. Recommend the bangers and mash, fish & chips, Scotch eggs if you’re into English treats. It’s a bigger version of a nice British pub! The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, too. We come here at least once a week!

Lovely and sometimes boisterous setting with delicious food and a great selection of beer (including traditional Irish favorites!!) on tap. The fish and chips are excellent and if you've always wanted to try a Scotch Egg they have those too. Great options for the whole family with friendly service.

I really like this place. I ordered a small side Caesar salad with tomatoes and the Shepherd's pie. The food was all delicious and delivered steaming hot. Great friendly service. Reasonable prices considering inflation. Excellent atmosphere. I'm going back to try more of their specialties.

So good! Great drinks from the bar. Server Zach gave us pointers on the menue when we couldn't decide. Chicken Curry ala Zach was great and desserts... <swoon> Really good dinner and service.

Great food. Great service. The corned beef and cabbage, Guinness pie, Shepard pie, bangers and mash, and the fish and chips are all very good. After having that food in England it's not exactly the same, but it satisfied the craving and they do a good job. Try it yourself and see how you like it. The scotch eggs are a wonderful appetizer. Enjoy!

I had fish and chips, and my husband had the Guinness pie. Both were delicious! The fish was flaky and the batter was perfectly crisp; the fries were golden brown. My husband said the pastry on top of his dish was stellar, and the filling very tasty. The serving sizes seemed a little smaller compared to most American restaurants, but we thought they were just the right size. We were full but not stuffed. And our waiter was friendly and efficient. Would highly recommend!

Canyon’s Crown is an excellent restaurant! The fried pickles are made in house and not from US Foods like most restaurants. Hands down best fried pickles I’ve ever had! The fish was perfectly fried in a delicious beer batter. Our server Rockelle was extremely busy and still provided to provide excellent service.

I've been meaning to visit this pub for the last couple years and finally decide to bring the family out and enjoy the pub and food. Food was top notch across the board and the beers/cocktails were amazing. My entire family enjoyed it. The manager and wait staff were great. See you next time!

Everything we ate was delicious!! The Scotch Eggs tasted like deviled eggs with a crunch when you add the Dijon mustard. The bangers and mash was amazing, I really couldn't get enough of it. Their fish(Cod) and chips was light and flaky but not greasy. The onion rings...oh man those onion rings, light and not greasy. When we finished them there was very little grease left in dish. Their cheese burger soup tastes just like a cheese burger. Next time I will ask for bread instead of crackers.

Great atmosphere! Celebrating the New Year with friends. We met the chef,Nick, and complimented that everything was delicious. My wife had the Shepards pie with beef. And I had the Fish and Chips dinner. Best so far in Tucson.! For dessert, we had the White Chocolate Bread Pudding. Highly recommended.

We love it here! They had a little sign asking patrons to be patient due to short staffing, and we figured it would be a long wait..but we love the food, drinks, and service - so we knew it would be worth wait. We walked in, bellied up at the bar and every.single.employee hustled. They were friendly, smiling, helping each other out. It was an amazing atmosphere. And as always, they didn't disappoint with the food and the portions!

Every meal and drink I've had at Canyon Crown has been great. This time I was even more impressed. I ordered a meat loaf dinner to take home and was really surprised to see what someone in the kitchen did for me. The meat, the potatoes, the onion rings, and the mushroom gravy were all packed separately. This made the reheating so easy that the final result was as good as if I'd had it fresh at the restaurant. I don't write reviews often, and I was almost too full to do this, but this was really great service, and really good food.

Great atmosphere! Employees are friendly. Food is excellent! We had spinach dip with tortilla chips. The dip had a little kick to it which was wonderful. I had the Shepherd's Pie with a side of fresh vegetables and gravy which was great! My granddaughter had a build a burger with a Boca patty and fries. This is a must go to!

Good service and beer menu when my wife and I visited one weekend. Portion sizes were good for the price, but the quality of the food itself was just fine. Fun pub experience and the only place (I know of) in Tucson to get an English Breakfast.

Stepped up quality. Great customer service. Good beer list. New patio! It's become a regular go to place. Menu and hours vary so call before especially later in the evening. Save room for sticky toffee pudding!

An absolutely terrific place to grab a drink and some food. Moving out here from back East, I was having trouble finding a proper pub. Someone suggested I check out Canyon's Crown, and I wasn't disappointed. Not exactly what I was looking for, but pretty damn close. There are lots of TV's, useful for catching a game, but I'm not often in the mood for that. The menu is complete with lots of great pubfare and the bar staff is great! Tuesdays and Thursdays John will be behind the bar and his service is absolutely stellar! It had been a few months since I last went back and he still remembered the name of my drink, how to make it, and all. It's not on the menu and it's not common. Couldn't ask for a better experience!

Service and staff here are excellent. Food is standard sort of pub fare, but it does have items you can’t get anywhere else (think Irish Nachos) and some British beers that aren’t so common elsewhere in Tucson. This time when I was here I got some sweet potato fries and a Caesar salad. Salad definitely was mediocre- honestly was bottled Caesar over iceberg with a few croutons. Sigh. I’ll still to the nachos and wings next time.

A very nice place for a pint and some good food. A little disappointed that the guineas pie said puff pastry and it eas the short like the pasties. Got the full English and the tomato not grilled. It was like they added two cold tomatoes that would go on a burger. Still like it. Tad disappointed.

Placed a to-go order for four people and the food was ready within 15 minutes and was absolutely delicious. I ordered the fish and chips and should have just ordered one fish because they are massive! Huge portions! Michelle also helped me over the phone and when I picked up the order she was super sweet and made sure we had everything we asked for. Highly recommend!

I stopped in today for the first time. I was definitely NOT disappointed. The atmosphere in here was great! Now, I love my Guinness & I haven't been able to find a good pint since I've been in AZ (over 2 years now). Morgan definitely took care of that for me. She was great & very friendly. The food was great, too. The bangers & mash was perfect! I believe I found my new favorite pub. ☘️😉☘️

Driven by this place a thousand times. Tonight was our first time eating here. We were greeted at the door, and shown to a table right away. Our server John, greeted us right away. Our food was really good( just a little rich). The price was reasonable for four people. Would definitely recommend you try this place!

This place is awesome. My wife and I were trying to find a nice place to eat on May 4th and stumbled across this Pub. We went in and were immediately happy with our choice. The staff was friendly and atmosphere was great. They were also having a Star Wars themed trivia game so we joined in and won a pint of free beer!

  • 4/5 Mark P. 8 months ago on Google
Been to this place twice and so far only one gripe with the menu. The portions are huge and the homemade curry fries are a must! Save room for dessert, because the Sticky Toffee Pudding and the Bailey's Creme Brulee are to die for!!!! Dodge the Fisn n' Chips here, because they were over battered, overcooked and had no flavor. Plus it was the nastiest Tarter Sauce ever tasted. The Bangers n' Mash, Reuben Sandwich, Guinness Meat Pie and the Shepherd's Pie were the stars of the show here. Service is above average, prices are decent (but no great) and the atmosphere is really fun for a Pub setting. I will definitely be back there again to try more things.

I’ll start by saying our food was great! Everything was fresh, cooked to order and flavorful. 0 complaints on the food But the service was awful. We went at around 515. Our server initially was really nice and quick to get drinks. After that first drink order, water and coke, we didn’t see her until our check. We had to ask the food runners for water refills and even to get our silverware.

This is a nice place with a relaxed atmosphere. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very attentive and friendly. The footballs (bacon wrapped jalapenos with cream cheese) were surprisingly tasty! If you're on this side of town, it's definitely worth a visit!

A long-term favorite. Best craft brew selection for those who always want to see an amber, brown or stout on tap. The bartender is talented and the waitstaff and kitchen are top notch. Menu just blows away almost any other restaurant in Tucson.

Looking for a safe, friendly and tasty place to go in these Covid days? You will do no better than Canyon's Crown. The operating guidlines for restaurants are rigorously adhered to so you can be confident that the space you occupy and menus are sanitized and that distancing rules followed. Canyon's has long been known for cordial, informal service as well as menu offerings unique to the Tucson area. The bartenders are pros and they have a good daily happy hour ( 3-6 pm). My wife and I have been enjoying Canyon's since we landed in Old Pueblo in 2018 and applaud and support their efforts to provide a safe place. Give them a try...you have everything to gain. Jeff

We love this place. They have a nice bar and these days you can sit there and still be socially distant. We get the Onion rings, Mediterranean Salad, and Chicken Curry. Wings are great too. Plus we love their Old Soul Red Wine.

  • 1/5 Dan J. 3 years ago on Google
The only thing worse than the food, is the service. I would give zero stars if I could.

  • 1/5 Cierra M. 3 years ago on Google
The extremely generous reviews are a result of the staff promising a discounted bill if you say something nice about the place. Anything nice to say about the establishment is a complete lie that could only happen if you are bribed. The bar patrons are as rude as the bartenders. The menu is overpriced considering it is the most mediocre food you will consume. How can you ruin french fries? Do yourself a favor and keep driving passed this place and stop at Sentinel Peak Brewing Co. They know how to properly treat their customers.

Restaurant is very cold, service is a little slow but the food is so good. Our server was friendly and helpful. She helped us decided on food choices and she did a great job. We were a party of four and we all loved what we got. I suggest you dress warm and bring plenty to talk about, this is another spot in Tucson not to miss.

I started with the fried pickles and a draft beer. This defied my expectations! They cut the pickles lengthwise which makes for a better flavor. I enjoyed it but I felt like they could have used a bit longer because it was chewy in the middle. It wasn't horrible. I then ordered the fish and chips and a side mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was insanely good. Nice and creamy! The chips were just plain fries, but they were still great! The fish portions were as big as my forearm. We were satisfied with the pubs food and would definitely try something more adventurous next time.

Im thankful to have the ability to experience a meal on Saturday afternoon at The Canyon's Crown located on Tanque verde and Bear Canyon. We started with appetizer, Bavarian pretzel and the Mussels...followed by the Guinness pie, topped with sticky toffee pudding. Each bite on appetizers and entree plus the dessert was over the top....big likes all around for the hostess, bartender and executive chef. Happy eating Tucson. OP

Authentic tasting fish and chips. Texture of the fried fish was good. Fries are normal but made better due to the curry sauce. Tater-tots were average. All meals were good portions. Service and environment were exceptional. Kudos on the red velvet chairs/benches. Looking forward to visiting another time. -IBM lunch club

This just became my new favorite place. My friend's and I used to have a restaurant we would frequent (I won't mention the name) but the quality had gone down, and the prices got raised. So after awhile of not having a spot, this is it!!! The food is exceptional, the staff are great, and they carry Smithwicks... So yeah. If you go I highly recommend the Reuben, it is AMAZING. Next time we stop by I'll probably try the Pub Philly, but I think the Reuben will probably be my meal. Try this place! It's a hidden gem!

Open with the same dependable menu. Same friendly staff. The removal of some tables to satisfy the 'distance' has not changed the pub vibe. Go and have a cocktail and a good meal.
