A
Touch
of
France
It’s
been
a
while
since
our
last
visit
to
Trend
Kitchen.
This
cozy
little
touch
of
France
is
a
surprise
to
many.
Front
of
house,
Aureade
(au-red-dee)
and
her
husband,
head
chef,
Antoine,
are
from
Paris
and
both
are
trained
chefs
whose
dishes
are
inspired
by
French
cuisine,
taking
creative
license
to
elevate
their
food
to
fine
dining.
Their
menu
is
fresh
and
limited.
Some
old
Trend
dishes
remain,
but
things
like
their
foie
gras
(fwa-gra
-
duck
liver)
terrine
was
extraordinarily
delicious!
A
leg
of
lamb,
sous
vide
then
roasted
to
perfection
served
with
mashed
potatoes
and
vegetable
medley
was
…
well,
my
plate
was
cleaned
with
just
a
bone
remaining.
Their
Mahi
Mahi
was
outstanding
too,
with
a
sauce
you’ll
not
get
anywhere
else
and
should
make
the
permanent
menu
(hint)
it
was
so
good.
The
wine
list
is
small
but
complimentary
to
the
food.
Even
though
we
did
not
have
one,
a
top
request
was
their
French
version
of
a
Bellini,
so
we
now
have
a
reason
to
return.
You
can
dress
to
the
nine’s
or
dine
causally.
This
is
a
take
your
time
restaurant
and
not
an
eat
and
run
place,
so
make
your
reservations
then
sit
back,
relax,
and
enjoy
the
culinary
trip
to
this
little
touch
of
France.
