Great experience for our anniversary dinner at this local, family owned Italian restaurant! Most of the dishes are pasta/meat focused. We learned that they even have a half-off bottles of wine night, need to head back for that!

As soon as I walked in I felt like we were being judged. We were placed by the bathrooms away from everyone else. Then I ordered pasta that me and my boyfriend were going to share. When they brought us our food they for some reason brought us 2 plates of pasta when I only ordered one. When we got the check, we realized they charged us extra for them putting our food on separate plates. When we never asked them to do so. Then as we were walking out a member of our party overheard "they need to learn respect" the staff was talking poorly of us for asking about the price of the food. Very unhappy with how we were treated & we will not be coming back. I'll also make sure I let everyone I know as well not to come here & waste their time & money. Coming here, if you don't look like you have money you will be judged & placed away from everyone by the bathrooms. So I highly recommend everyone takes their business elsewhere.

I don’t remember the last time I was this pleased with a dining experience. We called at 8:20 pm to see if they would take a walk in, and they and told us to come right on in. The whole experience felt very personalized from the moment we walked in. Jake, our waiter, was fantastic. He was enthusiastic about the food, knowledgeable, and gave us great recommendations. We will definitely ask for him when we come back. Everybody was very nice and seemed happy to be there, which feels rare today in food service. Drinks were refilled VERY often, which was impressive. Mozzarella sticks were delicious, the marinara sauce was deep and rich. The pesto risotto with sausage was a flavor bomb. The pappardelle with beef filet, mushrooms, and a marsala cream sauce was excellent. Overall, some of the best Italian food my wife and I have had. We were raving about it while eating. I never take pictures of my food, but I decided to this one time because I knew I’d be leaving a review. We paid $100 plus a tip for our 3 items and sparkling water, so it’s a little on the pricey side for pasta, but it’s some of the best we’ve ever had, so well worth it if you want to treat yourself! You’re also getting service that’s second to none, and a nice date-night atmosphere. You get what you pay for! We’re excited to come back and try more dishes in the near future.

Exquisite! I've dined in many restaurants in Las Vegas and Gaetano's is a standout! The REAL food, the bartender, the servers and of course Nick Palmeri made myself and my guests feel welcomed and FULL. Venture into Henderson..not to be missed. UPDATE: Delayed posting. Attended a special Bourbon Dinner at Gaetano's presented by Nick Palmeri and #bardstownbourboncompany . An EXQUISITELY prepared dinner where each course was paired with a different bourbon. From the twenty one month aged prosciutto wrapped cantaloupe appetizer to the ultra-rich flourless chocolate cake dessert, everything in-between was as expected and more from Gaetano's kitchen. Everyone in attendance appeared very happy and the bourbon certainly helped! Pictured is the OUTSTANDING veal, ricotta and mushroom ravioli, which is also a regular menu item.

We've been to this lovely restaurant twice, and both times had a great experience. The food is superb, the service is incredible, and the atmosphere is very classy and relaxing. Most people, you'll find, tend to dress up a bit at this place. My favorite dish is an angel hair pasta with shrimp and lemon, butter, and white wine sauce. Will definitely go again. Check Groupon also!

Excellent food and service, with a surprisingly large seating area. It's a family restaurant who has been there over 20 years. The original founder passed away but the family has carried on. Eggplant Rollatine is a new favorite dish of mine, and the canoli was outstanding. We will be back!

I disagree with the other reviews here. Ate last night on December 5th. The house salad for 2 was very soggy and the portions were small. The eggplant Parmesan was not good and tasted very nutty almost like it was undercooked and the sauce was an orange marinara sauce that I wouldn’t feed to my dog as it was so low quality and had a weird taste to it. The chicken piccata was OK. We heard this place was good and had high rating but the food quality was nowhere near that of Olive Garden, which would been a better choice . we will never go back there again. The restaurant itself was very large and nice and service was good. The bread they serve was toasted and of low quality . Their wine list was way overpriced and not worth even ordering the wine by the glass. They must’ve thought they were on the strip by charging these prices. We are from NY Italian neighborhoods. We know Italian food!

This was our first time here, and we will definitely come back. It was a busy Fri night but the hostess was prompt and polite and the ambiance was perfect for a nice night out. Our server, Jake, was very personable and helped us with menu and wine choices. We had the mezzaluna pasta and a special of chicken pesto risotto. Both were fantastic, and I am sorry for the pics, but they were excellent dishes. We were stuffed when we left and had a lovely evening.

Nick and the hosts made us feel at home from the door! The wine selection is choice, with an emphasis on complimentary flavor for your meal. The food was astonishingly good, I and my lady were speechless at how delectable each dish had bold and subtle flavors layered in. I'm salivating just writing this review... We found ourselves eating slowly just to savor each bite. We had the tiramisu which was light and a little sweeter than most I've tasted which I appreciate, but the crème brûlée has me addicted. We can't wait to get back. Anyone would be remiss to pass up the opportunity if you're in Las Vegas to taste this authentic Italian cuisine ristorante.

Atmosphere: Well very AUTHENTIC, if you have ever been to Mexico you will realize that security bars are used across the country in small businesses to prevent being robbed or something... well this place has them which totally gives it an authentic feel to it... as well as the non modern furniture.

We are from out of town and we stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant. Everything from our apps, salad and main course was delicious. The homemade pasta was absolutely perfect. The staff was very pleasant. A must visit if you enjoy Italian.

This is a delightful local restaurant with excellent food and superb service. The decor is elegant, but the atmosphere is relaxing and homely. The Italian owners welcome diners with genuine warmth and stay true to their cultural roots. We enjoyed calamari and shrimp appetizers with grilled salmon and Chicken Marsala for the main course. Everything was delicious. It was a great place to go on Valentines, but it is always enjoyable- date night or a family night out! Also, they accommodate groups well!

Excellent all the way around. Family owned restaurant and charming. The stuffed lamb shank was one of the best cooked piece of meats ever; stuffed with broccoli rhab and sausage. Cioppino was on point with lots of shellfish, calamari, fish, and shrimp with a light tomato broth. Wife had the branzino fish that is presented with the head on, very tasty. They have half bottles of chianti wine if you don't want a whole bottle. Service was fantastic as usual. The cheesecake is homemade.

By far a very upscale dining experience. The owner takes a very hands on approach to everything. The staff is super friendly and all of their suggestions were spot on. The eggplant cooked to perfection. The appetizers were just what we needed before the meal. The seasonal stuffed figs are a must try.

Exceptional food and service. Very accommodating this last visit as couldn't make reservation on time, ordered take out, then able to make it. Held a table for us and take out turned into full service. Nick and staff are fantastic! Great family , authentic food. Go there!

This restaurant is truly an experience. Arnold and the rest of the staff do an incredible job of assuring their guests are taken care of. My husband and I decided to allow him to surprise us with our meal and I have to say, it was a a life-changing and giving experience. The food was delightful, the wine went well with everything, and the staff was refreshing. You can tell that they take a lot of pride in what they do and bring the artistic side of cooking and serving to life. We will definitely be back.

From the moment you enter you know you're in a special place. Colors are warm, light is perfectly set, Frank S is singing gently in the background, and you can have a conversation without shouting. Hostess was a gem who, without pause, changed our table choice. Menu offered a portfolio of wonderful dishes from appetizers to entrees. Nice wine selection by the glass. Then we met our waiter, Arnold. Charming, timely, attentive without pestering ,and informative. Filet tips with mushroom cream sauce over pappardelle was delicious and right portioned. Risotto with pistachio pesto and sausage was remarkable and plentiful. The roasted lamp chops (next table) looked outstanding. Only suggestion would be to improve the breadbasket

Great food. Excellent service. Nice atmosphere. Both the chicken parmigiana and grilled salmon were delicious and beautifully presented. Also friendly bar staff before dinner with big tvs to pregame before your meal.

Wonderful meal. We enjoyed the special meat ball appetizer and bruchetta to start. Moved on to a wonderful pastas including a special blue cheese pasta and ravioli with short rib. Their pastas are made fresh everyday and by far the best in the Las Vegas area. Our server Barry was helpful and attentive throughout the night. The ambience is fun Italian all the way. The salads are huge and can easily be shared. Great wine list and the Tartufo for desert was just perfect.

Fabulous food, drinks and service. The trifecta. Definitely a place to try in Henderson. We loved their Eggplant Rollatine - eggplant stuffed with angel hair, Veal Piccata, Veal Parmesan, fresh salads, several of their signature cocktails, cannoli and Tiramisu.

I read about Gaetano’s and wanted to try it with my wife. As we entered, we were met by a man in a suit looking sharp with his tanned shaved head, gold rings and watch. He said his name was Nick P. and he was the owner. First impressions can sometimes fool you…We asked about a happy hour and his mood seemed to change. There was no happy hour which was fine so we sat at the bar and ordered dinner. Tina the bartender was clearly ignoring us and talking to two other customers at the bar. For 10 minutes she didn’t refill our water or wine glasses. She kept saying rotten things about her elderly mother she lives with. Loudly. Next, our small Caesar salads arrived. If you like the taste of mayonnaise, you’ll love them.😩 Our spaghetti and clams dinner arrived cold so we politely asked to warm it up. The owner Nick and bartender Tina had an odd reaction and seemed very upset. Nick P. the “EMPTY SUIT” owner finally brought back our dinner minus some of the clams we had not eaten. Nick glared at us and didn’t humor us with an apology. I asked for a bit more cheese and Nick P. became a *very little man* and exclaimed, “I’m going to charge you more for that!” Without question, Nick P. is the most ignorant Anthem business owner I have ever met. Apparently, for 9 years, he was a Carnival Cruise cook on the 3 day cruises to Mexico. 👌He ruined our $90 dinner date with my wife. He might think he’s the BMOC after Gaetano’s passing…. New owner Nick isn’t too bright….🥴😩There are so many other good options- I will be stopping by again to give everyone an update in a few months…

Why are there not more than 5 stars? This restaurant was AMAZING. My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary. We felt like Italian and this place did not dissappoint. A bread basket was brought out with oil and vinegar. We started with Mozzarella sticks. They were perfectly done. The marinara was delicious. My husband ordered the special, ribeye with fettucinie alfredo cooked medium. It was melt in your mouth perfect. The crust was perfect. I wanted to steal it off his plate. I ordered the gnocci with gorgonzola cheese and sausage. Delicious!!! The gnocci was like soft pillows. The sauce was perfect. I asked the server which was better, chicken or sausage. He suggested the sausage and it was spot on. The server asked if we were celebrating anything. We told him our anniversary and asked for a dessert menu. We planned to order tiramisu (my favorite) and cheesecake (my husband's favorite) Next thing we know, he brings out tiramisu with a candle. It was the best we have ever had. Thank you for a wonderful evening. We will be back. We can't remember our server's name, but he was just right. Perfect level of attentiveness.

My wife and I were in town on a get away and were looking for a fine dining establishment, that's exactly what we found. From the moment we walked in the door the atmosphere and attention to detail was impeccable. The food was a pure pleasure to eat and was presented wonderfully. Thank you for your hospitality and a great evening, we will be seeing you again on our next trip out.

WOWWWWWW!!! Talk about authentic!! I've always wanted to come here, for years. The ambient lighting upon walking in really sets the tone, very romantic. We ordered the "Ravioli di Zucca" , 2 meatballs, and some Italian beer named "Moretti La Rossa" from the tap. The bread that was served first was a medley. 3 different kinds. Actually it was perfect, 2 soft, 2 medium, and 1 hard slice. Of those the soft bread had rustic seasoning on top and was absolutely amazing!! Dipped in oil and basalmic wasn't even needed for that one! The other 2 were ok. The Ravioli was unbelievable! You could taste it was homemade pasta, I've never had pasta so smooth and soft like that before. The meatballs were good, but not the best. My beer palate is very large but I'm no conisseur. I've never had Italian beer before but this was such a delight. Reminded me alot like Newcastle but a bit stronger, an excellent dark beer I will now be buying for home. The service was 5 star. I highly recommend this restaurant if you can afford it and we will be coming back this year for sure!

This is our first time here. It's very rare that a restaurant exceed your expectations but this one did. From the atmosphere to the meal to the service was all 5 star. I have eaten in many fine establishments. Many who had high ratings but never delivered. This place delivers in spades as my uncle use to say. The veal piccata was devine. My wife's lasagna bolognese was superb. The desserts were everything I thought they would be and more. I am not a big fan of tiramisu but I love theirs. It was my wife's. I had the creme brulee. All in all it was one of the best meals I had ever had.

First time dining here and it was wonderful! Service and food were great. We went on a Saturday evening and the restaurant was very busy despite the ongoing pandemic. That didn't bother us at all as it was a welcomed bit of "normal". All of the food was delicious -- the bread basket, calamari, chicken parmesan, cioppino, tiramisu, flourless chocolate torte. thanks

I can't begin to describe the perfection of this off-strip, authentic Italian restaurant. Some of our favorites are veal picatta, gnocchi with tomato basil sauce, amazing beef short ribs, and linguine vongole. Great dessert menu. The staff are friendly and informative. I do wish the wine list was better though.

This really is a hidden gem. This should be an option for anyone looking for a romantic dinner or somewhere to bring out-of-towners wanting to avoid the Strip. The staff is very friendly and makes you feel like you're part of their family. Though no one was at the bar while we were there on a Friday for dinner, I can't wait to come back!

Stop your other reservations and start here, but be prepared for a very high bar being set. Amazing service, very fair price, especially for what you are getting in return which is an incredibly delicious fresh and in house made everything. The 40 plus years family owned Italian restaurant is a must. Calamari, prosciutto and fresh mozzarella, the breads... all fresh all delicious. The main courses, fish, steak and pasta were phenom. Finish with tiramisu and cake... stop and revive yourself after melting over how great they were. Mixed drinks got praise from all others at the table.

Hands Down thee best Italian Food I have EVER had!!! Everything is home made, the noodles, bread, sauce, etc. SO MUCH flavor in everything, especially the sauce. The inside is more on the fancy side, Wish we would have known that to dress a little more nice {shorts & tank tops were a little under dressed} but we found the place at last minute. The Hostess made a point to say something about our tank tops & on our way out she also made a point to say we didn't tip the waiter enough. I'm all for leaving a good tip but I felt lile she was kind of rude. Don't let that stop you from going because the food was AMAZING!!!!

Service, Atmosphere, Breads, and Caesar salad are all up to high standards for Gaetanos tonight. I would have given them 5 stars as most nights are usually but it was the fact that I came in a nice, summer style dinner dress and my husband in a Polo shirt and we were freezing so cold I was ready to ask for a tablecloth to wrap up in. Our table wasn't under a vent and close to the back area for the kitchen heat, it was like being back home in CO. The lasagna left you wanting something more in it, either more cheese or/and meat. Their meatballs are very tasteful around a golfball size $4 ea. The winner of the night and my husband ordered it was the Chicken Parmigiana with a small side of Spaghetti. The breast was butterflied and breaded so it took up a great deal of the plate, cheese and sauce covered it completely. I took 1 bite of the Lasagna and then we switched plates and I was very happy he ordered the chicken. He loved their Lasagna last few times but this time wasn't the same. All in all, we had a wonderful salad and bread. Chicken Parmigiana is excellent but if we go back Gnocci is my safe bet. Gaetano's rocks Italiano!

Dinner was phenomenal. It started out with the house tomato bread and the sesame seed cracker served with olive oil and balsamic. That was amazing in itself, I could have filled myself up with that and be done with it and still be happy. Had the main dishes out of their specials for the night. Papardelle pasta with beef fillet in a porcini mushroom cream sauce and a Risotto with Scallops. Those were absolutely delicious. Cooked extremely well, the flavors worked so good together. It is in my opinion that you can't go wrong with any main dish. Dessert was vanilla creme brulee, it was very smooth and custard-y and the sugar shell was nice and gave a very satisfying crack. 👍
