I love Khans in general. However this restaurant is so nice and big. Something that I loved is that it is very clea. The food areas is cleaner as well as were we get the spices. Shout out to the cooks they did an amazing job with my food. Also the service is really good the waiter that we had was very friendly and attentive to what we needed. This was my first time on this particular location and I will definelty go again.

Khan's is my favorite resturaunt and A.C. (a cook) from this particular location was so sweet, talkative and awesome! The veggies and meat at the bar are always fresh to pick out of for your meal and the cooks are very attentive to your food to make sure not to burn it. love this location! Definitely recommend 🔥

Our family went to dinner & when it came time to line up for our food to be cooked, my oldest son was sent to space 1, while the rest of us stayed on the other side in spaces 12-14. My son has autism and was having difficulty trying to figure out what sauce he wanted for his food. The cook was so wonderful & patient.. he took it upon himself to mix together House #2 on a plate so that my son could taste prior to cooking. This really warmed our hearts. I made sure to go speak to the manager before we left & let him know that our family really appreciated what the cook did for our son. We definitely will be returning to this location again! 👏🏼🧩❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

Do not eat here. I worked here and it was absolutely terrible. The cups are filthy, do not drink from the plastic cups, I’d recommend eating and drinking with the foam cups and plates. The plates were always greasy, I always felt bad giving the customers extra plates because every time I picked up a new plate, it was was greasy, I almost never picked up a clean plate. The forks were also sometimes disgusting with food still being stuck on them (we waitresses would have to pick out the food from the forks before folding them into the napkins) I’d recommend using the chopsticks or the plastic silverware. The restaurant also had lots of flies and cockroaches that would sometimes get into the food, and a lot of the times the food was spoiled. The manager Frank was absolutely AWFUL to work with. For one, he did not care about cleanliness, every time I brought up a concern about how the cups were dirty, he did not do anything about it. He’d be extremely nice to the customers, engage in friendly conversation, but he was just terrible to his waitstaff. He LOVED to gossip and would gossip with his waitresses about other waitresses, causing a lot of drama. And then, would continue to say he wouldn’t tolerate any of it. Coming into work was always stressful, it would always depend on his mood if we were going to have a good shift or a bad shift. He also had favorites, and would schedule his waitresses based on who he favored more. And the cooks, although some were nice, some of them were very predatory towards the customers and waitstaff. The solution to some of the cooks being predatory was for the waitstaff to simply not talk to the cooks. I’d think twice about going to this restaurant, the food would sometimes be very good, but the cleanliness, the manager, and some of the cooks aren’t worth the money at all. It’s expensive and a disgusting environment.

My experience with McAllen is always Great. There’s is a chef there named Efran and he takes his time making sure the meat and your food is cooked. I’m fortunate enough that I always get him to cook my food. He seasons it perfectly. Overall I always make the drive from Edinburg to McAllen to go to this location. It’s worth it. 5 stars. Portion is always a lot and I have leftovers for later.

The "Mongolian experience" was okay, i though there would be a more Mongolian atmosphere, but it felt like any other restaurant. Yes they have the cooks cooking your food on the grill Infront of you and the food was okay, i kinda wished they had a bowl just for the pasta. Overall a decent place for lunch, not one that I would call memorable because that would require more effort into a more unique experience.

Food was excellent. chicken and red meat was a bit chewy to chew on. Still a lot of food for a good price.

I rarely go here of my own choosing because I am guaranteed to go ever time my youngest is in town. It's his absolute favorite dining experience. We both love the food. It's great for dining in or take out either one..... or even as left-overs. I tend to go heavy on the vegetables and proteins, and he prefers proteins and pasta. Either way, we all come away happy. Update: Still delicious!

Such a Edinberg/McAllen/The Valley SOUTH Texas signature resteraunt!!!!!! Very lovely atmosphere and presentations at the end. I've never been to a place where they COOK in front of you and allow you to pick all the veggies and meet you want - like Chipotle but 1000% beeter and MONGOLIAN. DELICIOUS

This is our first time here at Khan's Grill, the food is fresh and you select what the Chefs will prepare for you, therefore you do the flavoring by selecting and adding your own spices. The Staff is very welcoming and greet and sit you as you arrive, everyone was very attentive of our needs.

It was my first time at a Mongolian Restaurant in Texas. I’m from California and I have never craved for Mongolian food like this back in Cali. The service was sooo welcoming and so friendly. The cooks were so chill & funny with me and my boyfriend. They had us laughing about the sauces because we couldn’t decide which one to get!! So we decided to combine them all. Turned out it was so savory and sweet (and a little spicy which I didn’t mind either). Best Mongolian place ever—hands down!! Cant wait to get my hands on these again whenever I’m back there to visit!! 😋

Mr. Jesse Gonzalez, is a great manager!! He made us feel so welcome and fixed our food that had come out salty. Cheers for more managers like him! 🍻

Really enjoy the food here. Getting to see them cook in front of you and choosing out of a selection of sauces and oils is super nice. Would be super awesome if they opened up a Khans grill here in the corpus/annaville area, but until then, I definitely make the 2 hour drive, totally worth it. I'd love for them to put green beans back on the buffet options for veggies in your dish! There have been a few occasions where the waitstaff wasn't ideal. Between sitting a while before we get checked on for our drink refills or any extra menu things to order, to sometimes the waitresses all just seemed to be in an upset mood/ wasn't friendly. Or even when mentioning that you would like a drink refilled or another menu item/ extra sauces and whatnot, there would be some serious attitude about it. All in all, I keep returning for that awesome food and Mongolian experience, but I definitely think the waitstaff should be spoken to about some better customer service.

Always a go to place. You make it how you want it and it's made right in front of you. Great for people doing keto or low card lifestyle. Love it.

Interesting service concept of by the plate Mongolian BBQ style food. Didn't find it exceptional, but was good food and the servers were pleasant and attentive. Give it a try and see what you think. I won't go out of my way to go back, but it is still on my meal options list

Loved the place. sadly my picking on my own items made it look wack XD although it's my own fault for poor choice on noodle and veggie XDD Rice noodle, onion, mushrooms, and beef. With pepper, garlic, lemon pepper, oil and Mongolian sauce. Lolol although the cooks deserve a raise fr fr for such cool techniques they do for cook, tip jar should be on each number because I was confused which jar I need to tip in and that's it.

Very delicious food. I’ve been eating here for 12+ years and it’s one of the few places in the valley that has remained consistent after all these years. Great go to when I’m feeling like having something flavorful and spicy…that’s how I season mine

I really enjoyed this freshly grilled to order experience. I had noodles, fish, shrimp, & various vegetables. It was so tasty & didn't take long to grill. There was plenty of seating with a choice of booths or tables. The drink glasses are a nice size with plenty of drink choices. I give it two thumbs up!

They did an awesome job tonight! Came in to have dinner with the family. There were 11 of us and they had no problem seating us and getting our drink orders quickly. Really enjoyed the food. Everything was fresh even late.

I have been a khans fan since they first opened years ago but I think I just had my last meal there. $20+ for a lunch is crazy, one person with tea and an egg roll. Can’t even get a salt and pepper shaker or soy sauce on the table, they bring you to go packets instead. Beef is tough and full of gristle. I’m totally fine with paying money for quality but this is lacking on all counts. Bummed, it used to be a go to for me.

Yup, been here before and Will come back again. They mix up a great stir fry on your hand selected ingredients (buffet style) Everything is very fresh and tasty. The waitress are friendly and engaging. Booths were comfortable and in good repair. Bathroom was spotless. Parking was ample and well marked. Prices were a tad on high side, but not really considering the quality of goods and services. Think I'm ready for a return trip

Good food but I worry about them touching my food with the spice of the food being cooked right next to mine. I see the cooks just squirt that Chile all over the place. It was somewhat over cooked and a bit over priced.

Had a great meal and staff helpful as it was our first time at Khan's Grill. We'll be back.

This is hands down my favorite restaurant period. If you've never been, basically you pick your raw ingredients: red bowl for protein and green bowl for vegs and pasta. Then pick your seasoning (my fave is lemon pepper) and finally cooking oil and sauce. They grill it all for you then add rice and bread. I was starving so I went with 2 red bowls (chicken & sausage) and 1 green bowl. When they gave me the plate... yeah... it was HUGE. Basically I got 2 meals worth for about $16 which is not bad at all. Ever since I ate there, I've been dreaming of what I will pick next time I'm in the area. Staff is friendly and remember that TIPPING is not just a city in China.

Ok so i love the flavor in general that this food has. The problem is the cooking i hate the burtn flakes that are all over the food. When im eating i feell like im eating sannd which is disgusting to me it takes my hunger away. Also i have seen other restaurants cook the Food like like this and dont coome out nothing burnt. The cooks need to also be stiring the food not just let it sit ther till it burns. Thats not right. Also if they would use somthing else rather then a metal spachula i asure them no burnt would be scraping onto the food. And Clean your spot after every food cooked and no burning build up is on every section of the food. Please progress. All those black dots is burnt and when you bite it feels like your chewing on sand.🤢

Friendly host who attended my ticket to go. Restrooms were clean just the paper towels were out. The line was clean and stocked except the meat area which was the most important and no one was around to have it restocked.

I have to start by saying I LOVE Khans Grill. Love being to customize the flavors to my own liking, and I could literally eat here everyday. However, I usually have to get the food to-go, and I was super disappointed when I noticed that the food was so hot, it would melt into the plastic containers used to serve to-go orders. It’s really bad for your health to ingest foods that have melted into plastic, and for this reason I haven’t been back since. I really hope that in the future, the containers can be switched to a cardboard container or a different alternative. I’ve even thought of taking my own glass container, but I’m not sure if they’d be willing to serve me there because of COVID. TLDR; If you eat at the restaurant and get served in a normal plate, you’re all good and keep enjoying that delicious food. If you’re getting to-go, you might want to look into the dangers of eating food that has melted into the plastic container it was served in.

This place is incredible. Pick your pasta/veggies, then your meats, and have it grilled your way. The food just comes out incredible and the amount of choices and combinations you can pick feels almost limitless. Staff is very friendly and the place is well priced for the amount of food you get. For advise, don't finish your whole plate in one sitting because you will get sick! Even if it's that delicious. That good. Watch out!
