I had a short list of places that took our insurance and once I looked up Nelmar, I was sold on their approach on how to help. I felt like we hit the jackpot. The entire staff was super welcoming, friendly, attentive and so helpful. Dr. Cohen is a wonderful woman and her knowledge on how the brain functions is unbelievable. She wants to help people and that is very apparent. I couldn't recommend this place more!

Dr. Neli Cohen and the therapists have been great. I was given testing to ensure they had a accurate and complete understanding of my needs and limitations. This allowed them to provide a therapeutic plan that fits my unique needs. Dr. Neli Cohen is one of the most stand up doctors I have ever encountered! Definitely recommend!

I love this place. I especially love the science behind neurofeedback therapy, and the whole team at the center from my Psychologist Dr Cohen, to my therapist Lauren, my nutritionist Vesi, and the receptionist Alondra are all amazing! They are so caring, smart, hospitable, and culturally sensitive, especially when figuring out how to attach the electrodes to my hair (I have locs). I know the science is still a bit controversial, but when my School Psychologist friend told me about her experience, and then my cousin told me she gets neurofeedback too 🤯...I was like well, all things mental health and self improvement are right up my alley during this season of my life. So, sign me up!! 🧠 and I would highly recommend Nelmar! 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟

For years, since my daughter was a child she has been in and out of different inpatient hospitals, seen several psychiatrist, psychotherapists and been on many different medications, until getting treatment at Nelmar Health Centers. We have never received such detailed and genuine care before. Dr. Cohen is professional, caring and able to explain my daughters conditions in a way that helps us understand. If it wasn't for Nelmar's brain scans, neurofeedback and therapy my daughter would still be suffering and getting shuffled through the mental health care system.
